AJ was pulled into the headlock but soon his focus would be getting out of the body scissors. Thinking of what to do, Warner was in a bit of a hurry to get back to his feet, so he went to throw back rhythmic elbows to Shadow's head to get him to release the hold.

One elbow, two elbow, three elbow, four! Four hits to the face made Shadow release the full hold on AJ as he clutched his face and rolled away.

AJ rolled to his feet, awaiting the rise of Shadow. If it was soon, Warner would try to meet him with an arm drag to switch positions... if ya know what I mean.

((You lost me, my virgin eyes do not understand the implications of that last statement. You homosexual.))
Shadow scrambled to his feet, only to be brought back down by AJ's arm drag and was soon in the same position that he had AJ in moments before. At least he seemed to be keeping pace.

(hehehehehhe)
AJ went to roll to his feet once more and pick up Shadow to push him against the ropes (not to be mistaken with the turnbuckle). If successful, Warner would attempt to give a chop to the former and/or current OECW Seasons Champion.

WOOOOOOOOOO!!!
It was a stinging chop as Shadow clutched his chest and made a B-line for the nearby turnbuckle. Chops hurt bro.

They hurt indeed, bro. AJ knew this and went for more to wear the other crafty veteran down early on in this match, throwing his open palm towards Shadow's chest once more in the corner.

WOOOOOOOO!!
The winces on Shadow's face were enough display of stinging for most in attendance. Even more so when he stumbled forward onto his knees with hands at his chest as though he were having a heart attack.

AJ smiled at the crowd before attempting to pick Shadow up and push him back into the corner. It would (hopefully) be followed by an irish whip to his adversary in the opposing corner. If Shadow had made himself seem vulnerable, Warner would run an attempt a corner yakuza kick to the fellow vet!

Shadow went hard into the turnbuckle, his face wincing from the shot into the back but his sense were still much about him as he stared down the barrel of a yakuza kick heading his way. Ducking to the mat, Shadow slid out of the ring as AJ's foot came at where Shadow once was

Perhaps trying to force a change in momentum that fast was quite a mistake, even a risk, but one he incorrectly thought he could use to catch Shadow off guard. Hanging over the top rope was AJ's leg as he was now sitting with the top ring rope inbetween his legs; any more effort would have sent him crashing hard to the outside floor. The Shooter used this to re-position himself back into the ring as he had motioned Shadow to come back into the ring, giving him plenty of space to assure no cheap shots would be made.

Shadow paced around the outside of the ring as the crowd edged him on to get back inside the ring. This was going to get dicy pretty quickly, especially with how quick AJ was on his feet. After a moment, Shadow rolled back into the ring and got up to his feet. He jerked his neck to the side to pop it and began to circle with AJ once again. This time though, when the two of them would close the gap, Shadow would aim to kick AJ square in the gut and follow up with an uppercut to his jaw.

As AJ was trying to go for a tie-up once more, he was met with a powerful one-two combo that left him staggering into the set of ropes behind him. Shadwo's step still had a quickness in it as well.

Grabbing AJ's arm, Shadow made to whip him across the ring to the other ropes, and meet him in the center on the rebound with a vicious lariet!

[The winner of the contest is AJ Warner via pinfall.]
