~Skye Walker~ "I am sorry. I just needed some fresh air before I go to bed," Skye said, making up and excuse. She didn't want to tell her made the truth because she thought that she would shrug it off or say that she was just hallucinating. "I shall take my leave now." She walked off to go to her room and change into a nightgown before going to bed. She saw a small book on her drawer which she had not touched for many years and looked through it. She smiled as she remembered how childish she was and found an empty page to write on. She decided to write down about what had happened that night and her encounter with William, the ghost night. Afterward she went to bed and fell asleep, thinking about when her next encounter with him will be.

 William • Yates The next day, it was a dark cloudy day. Since it was dark, it meant less people would be out walking in town and it also meant that since light would be scarce, William would be visible. Now, his tombstone was more visible than it had been last night. It clearly read his reason for dying, what age, and the honors it received. Skye would be able to know more about him this way.

~Skye Walker~ Skye woke up the next morning and changed into a less expensive-looking dress and walked around the town. 'I'll see if I could find more about William.' She walked up to the gate and couldn't find him anywhere. What she did find was a tombstone dedicated to him. She read everything that was written on it about him: his death, age, and honors. 'He was so young..'

William • Yates A familiar voice sounded next to Skye. "Good morning my lady." he bowed. Dead or not, ghost or human, he still kept his manners. He looked just like yesterday, except that this time his face was a bit more clear due to the little light of the day (since it was cloudy). There seemed to be only around 3 people around at the time and they couldn't see William. "I find you visiting my tomb. Did we ever meet while I lived?" he asked her curiously. Obviously he was a kind knight.

~Skye Walker~ Skye turned and smiled when she saw William. "Good morning, good knight," she replied. She noticed the small details she couldn't have the night before. He looked a bit more handsome than she remembered last night. "I believe not. Though it would have been nice to meet thee at that time." She looked around and thought she might have noticed the people around her think that she was crazy or something.

William • Yates "Hopefully, thy kind self will forgive my following question, but, art thou not scared by my seemingly ghostly presence?" William seemed shy about asking it and honestly it was out of his status to do it but the man was already dead, what could he lose?

~Skye Walker~ Skye was surprised by his question but not too surprised as well. "T-to tell the truth, I-I am not scared of thee's presence," she admitted, looking away a bit, cheeks turning slightly red. 'Why are they turning red?' "I-I hope I did not hurt thy feelings and expectations."

William • Yates William shook his head and smiled brightly towards Skye. "On the contrary. Thou have enlightened it. The life of a ghost is lonely and silent." he admitted. He chuckled slightly then. "I am afraid the town's people will start speaking about this encounter." William was politely trying to say that they might say that Skye was crazy. Only a few would think she was talking to a ghost.

~Skye Walker~ Skye looked around and blushed a bit seeing that he was right. "I-I see. Then may I see thee tonight? When no one could see me talking to myself?" she asked, holding back a giggle by covering her mouth. "That way we can still talk to each other without anything thinking I am not right in my mind." She really wanted to stay with him and talk more but she understood the situation between them and had to compromise. Even if it made her heart ache.

William • Yates William smiled and bowed to bid her farewell. "I shall await thy beautiful self in this very same spot 'till night." It was true but it was meant as a joke seeing as how he was a ghost and condemned to alway stay where he was right now.
That Night
It was again late night and William's ghostly figure was in the same spot as always. A few kids and dogs saw him, for they say children and dogs can see the supernatural, but many adults ignored them. William merely smiled and waved at the children in a friendly and kindly manner. He couldn't get tired, sleep, nor hungry. It just didn't happen since he was dead.

~Skye Walker~ That night...
Skye sneaked out of her home again, this time making sure the head maid believed she was in bed and not make her worry. She saw some kids pass by her with a dog as she went to where her meeting place was with William. She saw he was still there and smiled. "Good evening, sir William," she said, approaching him happily. She didn't know why she enjoyed being with him even if they just met.

William • Yates William turned around as he heard his name being called out by the delicate voice of a woman. "Evening, my lady." However, this time, William was not alone. There was another man with him. The very same knight that had escorted Skye last night back home was with William. The man had finally managed to see his friend! It was noticeable by the giant smile on his face that he was incredibly happy to see William.

~Skye Walker~ Skye noticed the other and was surprised. 'What and unexpected event to happen. Is he able to see William?' She curtsied to William and the other knight. "I see there is someone else who can see you," she said, turning to the other Knight. "Good evening, sir knight."

William • Yates William smiled and nodded. "Aye. I am as surprised as thyself." he stated. The other knight smiled at the lady and bowed. "Evening. I am Nicholas West. At your service." he smiled more and spoke again. "I could not believe when I passed by and thought I saw William! I thought my good friend was gone forever." William chuckled slightly. "I am glad you are well and alive Nick." They had been best friends while William was still alive. "I.. If I do dare ask my lady, I do not remember ever seeing you with William. Perhaps you met him before he passed away?"

~Skye Walker~"Actually, I don't ever recall meeting William before last night. It's strange but I feel like I have, though," Skye answered politely. It was true. She felt like she had met him before but she couldn't quite remember. 'Must be my memory failing me.'
