Still frowning he moved forward his hand still up shielding Awen as if that dumb bird may suddenly lunge forward deciding she was a good snack. Looking down at the rather large...bug. Pretty....was one for it. At least the color of its shell was pretty but it was still pretty creepy for a bug.
"I see...is that why Uncle Jak tells you not to bring her to Tale? Isn't uncle Tak afraid of bugs?" He inquired remembering how on edge their uncle was around them, "I bet she would give him a heart attack." Blinking he watched as his brother told him to watch and began to whistle (something he had yet to master yet) and then the bug began to try to mimic the noise. That...was kinda cute...but mostly creepy. It made the hair stand on end on the back of his neck.
Taking a small step backwards his eyes widened. Ride Pembe?
"Ah...no...I am fine. I don't need to ride Pembe. Show me the rest of the pets."

"Yeah, she isn't allowed inside, isn't allowed near the house, and various other rules." He said, patting Kapila on the head. She wasn't allowed anywhere near Takoda, but that was alright, Kapila had him after all. Glancing at Chandra he couldn't gave a little laugh, "Yeah... she might do that, huh? I am doing my best to train her not to bother him if they do happen to cross paths but I am not sure how well that sort of training will go. Well, I hope.
When his brother went back a step he gave him a curious glance, before laughing, "No? Alright, well if you just want to pet him is nice and soft." He said, reaching out, snapping at the bird, calling it over to them. He leaned against the bird for a moment, then looked over at his twin once more, "The other ones? Well, there is... Flower. Ah!" He pointed to where the bright pink was sitting, just out of reach of where the Pembe could reach, "And of course the Menk, but it's one that you know well enough since you have one too."
Bouncing in place he then said, "I want to get more someday, but not sure what kind. There are so many amazing animals in the world after all." He seemed to think on it for a moment then shrugged, "I probably shouldn't think too hard on new pets now though, I need to think about those I already have and their needs, huh?"

Chandra looked about, he supposed there weren't as many animals as he had originally thought. For some reason it felt like he had literally a herd of them but now that he was introduced to them all...what had he been worried about? Though he was beginning to like Kapila if only because she wasn't moving around much. She still made a weird noise though..
"Yeah Uncle Tak would freak if he saw her I bet.." he murmured in agreement with Uncle Jacinthus's rules about keeping her away from Takoda. Taking a small step forward he eye'd the bird in a suspicious manner, though he kept his hand close to his own body rather than to reach out and pet the bird. "I am okay...but...you really want more? But...why?" Chandra inquired as he still didn't understand his brothers thought on animals.

"Why? I don't know, I just like them." He said, as he looked up at the bird that was taller then him at the moment but he knew once he grew up that he would be taller then Pembe and wouldn't be able to ride on him any longer, "I want to at least get one more, something... bigger, something I can ride on even when I am grown up. It would help with carrying stuff to and from Jauhar too if we wanted to go visit our family. There are lots of different things that make them both adorable and useful, so long as I train them well enough at least."
He took a step back so that he could look over at Pembe, then to Chandra, then back again, "Maybe you can help me with some of the training sometime?" He wasn't sure if his brother would agree to help him out but he really wanted to at least offer his brother the chance. Who knew? Maybe he'd be bored one day and want to do something with him training wise? It could be fun!

Chewing on his lower lip he watched his brother and tried to imagine what 'larger' animal he could possible find to ride on when they got older. There were lots of bigger animals, but most of them were dangerous. Shuffling his foot he looked to the ground as his brother suggested that he help train the animals some time. Right....he couldn't exactly see that happening any time soon.
"I dunno...I don't think I would be very useful.." The young boy muttered before cocking his head to the side his ear angled towards the house. Looking up suddenly as it looked as if the adults were getting ready to leave.
"Oh..looks like momma and daddy and done talking with everyone...are you going to come home with us? Or stay with daddy this time?"

"Well, you never know." He said, giving his brother a smile before he turned to look over at where his brother was looking, over at his parents and uncles. He seemed to think about it for a moment, shifted in place, then finally said, "I will go with our Daddy, that way I can talk to our family in Jauhar about the war, to see if staying with them is an option if our parents get called away." He said to his brother ebfore putting him for a big hug.
"You can come too! Unless you want to go back with Momma?" He wasn't sure what his brother would choose but he knew what he felt that he should do, which was to make sure that they had a safe place during the up coming war.
Lacing his fingers together with Chandra he pulled them toward where the adults were, wanting to see how they were looking. Surely they could tell what was going on by their expression, right? At least he hoped so.
