Hikiko has always been able to see spirits, but had just chose not to acknowledge them or act like she didn’t have the ability to see them before, as so she wasn’t singled out or at least made fun of by any of her friends. She had no idea of her Fullbring powers until when she was walking back to her apartment at night and decided to take a shortcut and cut through an alley way. That’s when she saw her first hollow, she tried to ignore it at first and act like she hadn’t seen it first. But as she kept on walking the hollow must’ve figured her out, because it just began to forget about what it was doing originally and turned it’s attention to her.
Thankfully there wasn’t anyone around as Hikiko came sprinting out the alleyway and down the road the hollow clumsily ran after her. Thinking that she could lose it in another alley, she quickly sprinted into a nearby alleyway. After turning another corner she came to a dead end. Turning around the hollow was slowly approaching her Hikiko backed up enough until her back was pressed up against the wall.
A light pink flashed in her peripheral, Hikiko glanced at her wrist and saw her bracelet flashing a little bit before a bright light of pink blinded her momentarily, and the feel of her bracelet around her wrist vanished and was replaced something very heavy. When Hikiko’s vision came back a large silver circular blade. The hollow seemed equally confused about the situation and in that time something awoke in her and the next thing she was doing was charging right at the hollow, any look of being scared or confusion was gone from her eyes and replaced with an unknown emotion.
After her battle with that Hollow, she looked down at the weapon in her hands, a look of confusion etched into her face after flipping the large circular blade in her hands she saw that her bracelet was missing. She looked back to where he back was pressed up against and looked around on the ground, trying to see if it had dropped on the ground. Tears started to well up in her eyes but stopped when the bring pink light came back, and this time it shown around the blade and it started to shrink in her hand and when the light faded, her bracelet was back on her wrist.

Personality: Rin is probably one of the most optimistic, bubbly and clumsiest person you will ever meet. She is not the brightest crayon in the bunch. She is always hard working and tries her best, no matter how dumb or dense she may seem. It is rare to see her without a smile on, even if she is faking it. She is blunt and tends to speak whatever is on her mind. She isn't very quick to notice obvious things because she is so dense, so unless she is told directly/specifically about things, she is clueless. Although she seems rather thoughtless, she is well focused on missions or tasks given to her at hand.

Rin was always alone since she was five. Born and raised in America during the modern era by an orphanage; the only family she had were the nuns and other orphans who lived with her. Before she was pawned off at the orphanage, she had lost her parents during a robbery. She was sound asleep, safely hidden in a secret room in the basement while her parents were shot by loan sharks.
Eventually when she became of age, she had to leave the orphanage and had to attend a regular high school in South Korea. Bullying was very extreme there, especially if you were the prime target of the school's jjang (#1 top dog), which Rin became due to her disadvantageous background. Rin was generally a nice person and was very popular amongst her classmates, making friends everywhere she went, but the school's jjang didn't like this very much.
One day, Rin would go to school to find a red skull pasted onto her locker, which was basically the jjang's way of saying "you're dead". All her "friends" turned on her, bullying her by pouring water over her head, hiding her books and beating her up because they were afraid of being bullied themselves. Her only friend, Yuki would stand up for her and be bullied along with her. Yuki eventually went to the school's roof and jumped. With the guilt and burden that overcame Rin, she jumped to her death too because all she had was Yuki. If he was gone, she had no one left in the world.
Upon her arrival in Soul Society, she lost all memories of her human life and lived as a thief with no home stealing things just to get by. She eventually found herself at the academy for shinigami, eventually joining the 13 squads.

Shikai Ability:
1. Devil's Sycophant: With the ability to control and manipulate shadows, Rin condenses her reiatsu with shadow. Attacks are propelled from the blade in large crescents, waves or even in "walls" of shadow, depending on the motion of the Zanpakutou (how it is swung, etc.) This can be used both offensively and defensively.
2. Chaos Expulse: Rin is able to manipulate and alter the interdimensional space within Shuichi's world/dimension. This allows Rin to multiply, divide, and manipulate any form of shadow within a 50 yard radius. (Take for example: using shadow to create a form of a girl or a shield etc).
3. Obscure Discharge: If an enemy's attack manages to hit one of her shadow manipulated clones or matter, it not only takes the hit for Rin, but the attack is sent to Shuichi's dimension where Rin may release back the attack at any given point in time, with her own reiatsu melded into it. The longer the attack stays in zanpakutou's dimension, the stronger it becomes.(Can be used only once every three posts.)
4. Archangel's Execution: Rin's blade becomes coated with a dark aura. This allows her blade to dissipate and reform at any given time into different forms of weapons (example: gun/throwing knife/axe/staff). For weapons that are projectiles (like guns), the bullets are her own spiritual energy

Bankai Description: [Picture] Rin's weapon disetegrates into complete shadow, and instead becomes armor. The armor wraps all along her body, leaving only her face bare. Two black blades appear to wrap around her wrists.
Bankai Ability:
1.-Sovereign of Darkness: Lucifer's Shadow Gate
The black blades upon contact, will momentarily transport the part of the body to Kurogane's dimension and will disallow use of that part. (Ex: The blades make contact with the opponent's right leg-- The leg will be "sent" to a different dimension for a limited amount of time.) The duration depends on how powerful the opponent is. After the body part exits Kurogane's dimension, it will be marked with a black arrow. The second time that body part is hit again, it will completely disintegrate into black dust, permanently transporting that part to the Kurogane's dimension for the remainder of the fight or when she cancels the ability. (Think --Soi Fong's shikai!)
2.Primary Curse:The black lotus tattoo on Rin's body spreads, until she is completely black, and the epitome of shadow itself. This allows her to freely move around as shadow and change herself into any shape or form. (e.g.: slipping through a door through a crack). As her body is shadow, her her body itself is her weapon. (e.g.: kicking someone's chest with her knee will have the same effect as a blade aimed towards the opponent's chest).

Atsuma was once truly happy, or at least from what he remembers. In what he now refers to as his Dog Days, Atsuma was Captain of Squad Three. Known for his excessive use of brute force to get things solved. His power was feared far and wide by both enemies and allies. Atsuma lacked control over his power and because of that he ended up harming many people he loved. Finally he decided to never use his Shikai, unless he was fighting alone, again.
On the day of the Hollowfication Incident. Atsuma was followed by his Lt. and two members of a seperate Squad. In a matter of seconds everyone was dead and Atsuma didn't have any other option, but to use his Shikai.
Atsuma was sentenced for the murder of his Lt. and two other Soul Reapers. All the evidence pointed directly at him. Even worse was the fact that he had gone through the process of hollowfication. They banished him into the human world stripping him of his rank, honor and life. His let arm was taken away as well after severely wounded by the hollows that attacked him.
Atsuma now works for the vizard commander even though there is a significant age gap. He was never too pleased about being a Squad Captain to begin with.

Shikai Description: Stalin changes it's appearance drastically. Gaining a longer range and multiple edges. During transformation rage courses through Atsuma's mind causing him to lose his sanity while Shikai is active. The ground around him trembles as a red aura consumes him. Shikai increases Atsuma's strength and endurance by an abnormal amount trumphing the strength of most Shikai. While active Atsuma cannot distinguish friend and foe meaning he will attack all without prejudice.
Shikai Ability:
-Break: Upon clashing blades with someone. Atsuma releases so much physical pressure that they must either back away quickly or run the risk of having their blade break.
-Mad Man's Guard: Placing Stalin in front of himself, the blade release red spiritual energy capable of blocking powerful techniques unless of course the sheer power breaks it. The shield would only cover Atsuma's front.
-Frenzy: Atsuma tosses Stalin fluidly around his body in order to combat faster opponents. If an opponent would use his/her speed to juke Atsuma and strike him from behind. Atsuma would throw his sword with such force around his body that the opponent would feel as if he or she had just clashed with someone.
-Demon's Pride: Atsuma lets out a horrifying roar inflicting fear into those that either never fought him or an enemy like him. This causes enemies to avoid fighting Atsuma for 2 posts.
-Reliniquish: If a weapon is caught in the middle of Aurons blade it immediately encloses. Auron then uses his strength to pull the weapon back and fling it away from the enemy.

Bankai Name: Clairvoyance of the Blade Master
Bankai Incantation: "Cleans the mind, soul and body. BANKAI!!"
Bankai Description: Stalin reverts itself into its normal look once again. Atsuma's mind slowly regains its sanity. He then achieves a new state of enlightenment with all of his senses heightened. A white aura surrounds him and his sword flowing gently like grass with the wind. His shades dissintegrate revealing his eyes to the truth. His paralyzed left arm gains mobility once again. His strength is quadrupled and his endurance makes him into a moving fortress. His blade produces such pressure that if dodged from a close distance one would get hit by an invisible force.
Bankai Ability:
-Focused Touch: Atsuma's sheer strength is at such a degree that by merely touching an inanimate object causes it to crumble. This however only applies to things without a spiritual pressure. A Zanpakuto would not be destroyed nor a human. The larger the object the more effort Atsuma must put into it.
-Third Eye: Atsuma gains a vision of 360 degrees, but the distance remains the same.
-The Sound of Silence: Atsuma's hearing becomes very sensitive being able to hear an ant crawl underground.

Personality:Xu-yung is a soft-spoken, polite, and caring woman who uses honorifics when addressing everyone, including her subordinates and the enemy. With her grace and kind manners, she lets others know quietly that while she may be soft, she is not to be taken lightly. Despite her gentle nature, several members of the Eleventh Division and even her fellow Captains fear her. Once she befriends a person, she will defend them to her last breath. Xu-yung is a direct descendant of the Lee Clan. And Despite being half Chinese, because of her mother, a Chinese noble, Xu-yung still was respected among the noble Lee members and welcomed into the family with open arms. Growing up was not easy for her. Even though her father was the son of a soul reaper and even one himself, he wanted Xu-yung to have a "normal" life and not pursue her shinigami career; since infancy, she showed signs of not being normal, like having an an abnormally high spiritual pressure at a young age and she could also see spirits. But her father told her it was only her imagination. In time, she would grow out of it. Wanting to distance her and everything relating to the soul society, Xu-yung 's father decided to take his family away from Japan when Xu-yung was only 5 and moved to Hong Kong.
In Hong Kong, Xu-yung learned the ways and customs of the Chinese, taking in her Chinese heritage. Even though her father tried his best to keep his parents away, they watched over from afar. No matter how normal Xu-yung 's father tried to make her life, she still was able to see spirits as she grew older. On a family trip Xu-yung and her parents were going to visit her grandparents, after 15 years of no contact. But due to bad weather, the engine failed, causing the plane to crash on impact. Xu-yung was only 20 years old when she died,along with her parents. After death, she found herself roaming the site of the crash where she encountered her grandmother.
Who simply smiled and escorted her granddaughter to the soul society to reunite with her parents and where her new life as a shinigami would begin. After years of training, she graduated at the top of her class, becoming a kido expert and one of the few captains skilled in the arts of Kung-fu. Xu-yung having mastered the art even before death. Now, she proudly wears her haori as the squad six Captain, taking pride and honor in her duty to the soul society as a captain and shinigami. Xu-yung has no recollection of her past, only from what her grandmother had told her and from that, she developed a strong hatred towards her father.

Strengths:
• Hand to Hand: In the field of Hand to hand, Kung Fu to be more precise, there is no one that can compare to Xu-yung. Having trained the art since her childhood days, she is a master at it. Honing her skills in combat, rarely drawing her Zanpakuto for battle unless needed.
• Combined with her hand to hand Combat, Xu-yung likes to mix in a little kido with her strikes. Upon making blows to her opponents, she releases bits of Reiryoku which increase the strength of her blows.
Weaknesses:
• Despite having a strong physical defense and offense, Xu-yung is limited to her abilities. Having a frail body and heart, the more energy she uses, the more damage it does to her body which in return pays for it later. Faint spells, Blood clots etc.
• Another flaw she has is her peaceful and kind nature. Xu-yung always prefers words over actions above anything else. Fighting is the last resort for her. She seeks to resolve things with peaceful outcomes.

Shikai Description: Like Kaname Tōsen's Suzumushi and Kisuke Urahara's Benihime, Aurora posses more than one ability in Shikai.
Shikai Ability:
Miu (Raining Beauty)- Xu-yung calls out her first attack by holding up her free hand to her mouth and releasing a rush of air that freezes anything it come in contact with; she not only uses this as an attack but she can also use it as a distraction while she prepares her next move.
Dansu no hane (Dancing Feathers)-Xu-yung calls out her dance by slashing her sword sharply in front of her or slashing her free arm; it allows her to create multiple daggers made of ice that attacks the opponent from multiple directions. When one of the daggers strikes the opponent they slowly start to freeze them alive.
Haku Kokuryū) Xu-yung can quickly create an ice dome around her allies and herself to act as a defense using her blade in a x motion. It can block up to a certain number kido or shikai attack. It can't defend against everything. It's a thick dome of ice, one can think that it can be quite durable against most attacks, both Shikai and Kido. As to how many before cracking and breaking, I'd say at least 3 shikai attacks before it weakens and shatters. There's too many Kido to name but it's quite strong against most of the known and practiced Kido.
Ōbu no Kōu: (Rainfall of Orbs) From the tip of her blade spills a large amount of luminous, flowing ice that lets off a brilliant glow as it touches the ground. The ice begins to merge into one small, glowing orb, and on Xu-yung's command, it explodes, sending a shower of luminous ice crystals that pierce the foe.
Shiramayu: (White cocoon): Upon calling out the name of the dance, Xu-yung's Zanpakutō will gain several white ribbons along the shaft of the weapon; each several feet long. She swings her weapon, causing the ribbons to elongate and begin moving. Anything touched by the ribbons becomes frozen, even the spiritual particles, or the atoms, that make that object or being up, preventing them from not only moving, but also from using their power to escape. The ribbons then completely wrap up the frozen target. Xu-yung states that once the target is completely wrapped in the white ribbon, they will die. There are three ribbons that appear when she activates this technique, meaning she may use it three times before it disappears and she has to wait until she uses Bankai next to do it again. She calls this move her trump card. This attack has effect only on the victim, not on the zanpakuto. Zanpakuto cannot be frozen or affected by this attack. If the person is able to use their zanpakuto still even though only a part of them is immobilized, they can stop the attack by attacking the user which is Xu-yung.

Bankai Name: Tasogare-hime
Bankai Incantation: Ochiru, Tasogare-hime
Bankai Description: Her blade changes from black to all lavender and is much lighter with a white chain attached to the hilt. Bankai allows her to manipulate ice to an even more improved degree than her Shikai. Her Zanpakutō's powers still take the form of dances, but are improved versions of the Shikai dances. Xu-yung''s spiritual power now becomes far colder, freezing any liquid within range of her reiatsu. She is careful not to release her Bankai around Humans, or small children that dwell in Soul Society, as her reiatsu in Bankai is cold enough to cause severe frostbite. In addition, if a limb is cut off, it can freeze up due to Aurora's blade being so cold in Bankai form.
Bankai Ability:
Musei Shi (Voiceless Death ): Xu-yung points her blade in her opponent's direction, unleashing a wave of ice which takes the shape of a butterfly in a single blast. This ice butterfly has a "ghostly" quality to it, and it erodes the life of all touches. An example was when it was able to lay waste to entire forests in one fell swoop- however, it has no effect on inorganic structures. Once shattered, the butterfly can split into innumerable smaller versions, which each hold a fraction of the original's power. When first destroyed it takes form as 100 smaller butterflies but when each are destroyed again they will not reform.
Hashira o bakuhatsu (Exploding Pillar): Xu-yung calls out this attacks name and slams her sword into the frozen ground. This attack is unique in that it does nothing at all until the opponent makes a move. The moment they do, an ice pillar rockets out of the ground, slamming into the opponent. Other ice pillars form around the victim, spinning slowly around them in a circular fashion. Under the command "Devastate" (荒らす arasu), the pillars begin to spin faster and move in towards the opponent, crashing into them, and forming on large pillar, which shatters, seriously injuring the victim inside. This attack can ONLY be used in Bankai since it uses a lot of spiritual power.
Howaitozōn (White Zone): This dance stems from Xu-yung's control of her frozen territory. Unlike other dances, this technique does not require the sword, stemming pure from Xu-yung's mental control of the area. With this dance, she can completely control the area, from creating spikes, bars, shields, or whatever she pleases from the ice at hand.

Shinji-san, there is no rule against creating characters that are similar or based off of the canon characters. The history is entirely original and the Kuchiki Clan Noble House is an important house in the Bleach Universe. The zanpakutou is also almost, if not completely, different from Rukia's zankpakuto as well. There are actually few similarities apart from appearance and the references of her attacks as "Dances", which is not entirely uncommon.

Kenpachi. So if she can keep that then I don't see why I can't have my character bear the Kuchiki name. She does have another last name, being part chinese. And Her zanpakuto is similar but not the same. I can change the names of the attacks. But ice is an element.

The attacks were entirely created by myself. They only were named dances in effort to make it graceful, not to be a clone of Rukia's zanpakuto. Also Tite Kubo created the concept of Kenpachi and the nickname and if this is an alternate universe like stated then shouldn't the title not even exist at all? It would be copying the originality from the Manga/Show.
