MONIPET MY DOGE! Doge pikchur:My doge, Star, on Christmas in 97 (that's why all the debris xd ) Nots bout doge: His parents were a pure-bred border collie and a mixed breed mutt. Luckily the only looks he inherited from his father were a husky-like tail and husky blue eyes. He also was one of the friendliest dogs ever, the only times I've ever seen him growl was when someone he did not know came to the back door instead of the front door (they were not supposed to do that) and when the neighbor cats were coming after our kittens. His nickname was puppy, because, whenever we'd get home, he'd always charge up and down the halls greeting us like a puppy would, all the way up till he was 17, when his arthritis took away most of his ability to move. He was 18 when he died.
How Star both was and was not technically a rescue:
Somewhere around seven years before I was born, some of my dad's friends knew that my dad was looking to get a dog and knew of a pregnant dog they were pretty sure had been abandoned. The dog had not been picked up by the ASPCA because she did not look mistreated or malnourished and the yard did not look unkempt, so they had no actual proof. Now, normally a pregnant dog that had been abandoned would look malnourished, but the mutt, that was the father of her pups, had been jumping the fence bring her food everyday. By the time my parents went to look at the dog, she had had her puppies, so my dad went up towards them and asked "Which one of you is the smartest?" Star was the most curious, so he was the first one to walk over to my dad. My dad then left a note for the owners with a phone number and took Star home. In this way, my parents had rescued him from the street, instead of from a shelter, like most rescues. Anyways, a couple months later, the owners finally came home and called up my dad asking if he wanted the rest of the puppies. My dad had no room for more than one pup, so he had to turn them down.

She really really loves food and when she is mad she looks incredibly like the wolves at the reserve I used to visit.
