Kelina put her left hand up, palm facing outward. "I don't mean to try to convince you otherwise, really. If you know what you're passionate about all the power to you. But don't feel obligated, because that will only lead you through a life of unhappiness. Isn't there anything else you like doing that you could consider? Its always good to have a back up plan just in case." She said simply with a shrug of her shoulders.

"Well I like healing but it is more of a nessesary hobby with my chosen profession. Swords are cool but well its hard to ride and swing. Other then battle I would want a family some day but I want to persue being a rider as well."

Nodding, Kelina too knew that healing knowledge was necessary for just about everyone. She agreed that swords were cool, she'd never really practiced them but she knew the people that did wielded them well. "It's going to be hard for those of us in our generation to have families, especially with a war coming." She said honestly.

"True, I wish there was a way to go about it peacefully, there is much to loose here despite our harsh climate. I don't wish any on either side to die. Life should not be lost over petty squabbles over decisions made by people who never have to pick up a blade and fight for what they chose."

Kelina looked sad, she was sure there were many (including herself) that felt this way, but some people were just power hungry. Or maybe they had their own motivations for wanting to destroy other's place of living. "I think there are many who wish that here as well. I wish there was a way to convince people that fighting isn't always the answer. Maybe someday we'll get there, but I have the feeling that there will be fighting to just get even there."

"Me too, life is full of arguments but when people get exasperated enough they resort to force, its in our nature but it still surprises me that it happens in this day and age." He walked over and put an arm around her. "Hard times are coming, so be safe, practice with that bow not that you need it but it will help keep the skills sharp," he let her go not wanting to offend her and was distracted by a bright green piece of glowing neon moss.

Kelina blushed as he put his arm around her and told her to practice. Oh she would alright. He didn't stay there for long though, he seemed to get distracted by some green glowing moss which made her smile. Sauron seemed like the kind of guy her mother would have liked for her to meet, because of the fact that he seemed to do so many of the things her mother used to do. It was kind of uncanny when they first started their conversation, but it was kind of growing on her now. "Do you live here, near Ast, Sauron?" She asked him shyly.

Sauron gently poked the green moss. "Yes I have a small hut in the village with my collection of mosses, roots, plants, small bugs and my little garden. Its tiny, cozy and home. Although there are a few places I almost spend more time in like the big trees where the branches are wide enough to sleep on and watch the goings on below and above the canopy. Which reminds me, I need to water my poor garden."
"And you? Where are you from? If you are from Ast as well I apologize, as I said I'm not at home all that much. I can only listen to so much chatter before I get quite bored of the usual morning gossip." He grinned unrepentant.

Kelina smiled kindly at him. So he was from Ast as well. She wondered how she hadn't seen him but he seemed to answer that for her. "I am from Ast as well. I've lived there most of my life, first with my mother and then just here recently when my sister moved in with me. We live on the outskirts though my sister has a little hut that she works and sells the animals that she's tamed. You should stop by some time." She looked behind her to where she knew her house was. "Well, I've been gone long enough and I"m sure Lasarra is getting worried about me. I hope to see you around, Sauron." She said to him with a wink as she hopped to the next tree limb.

"Your sister tames beasts? That sounds like a lot of fun, I will definatley have to visit. Walk safe Kelina. And thanks for the chat." He smiled warmly and waved to her. He was pleased he had made a new friend and had managed not to get skewered with arrows in the process.
