Kimera glared at the note and the rose. She picked both up and locked up her shop before going to the dumpster. she tossed both in. Then drove back to that tattoo parlor. She kicked in the door and glared at the artist. "Explain. Now." The guy didn't even blink before slipping her a thing saying, So your tattoo is a mark for a demon mate? She took her with a darker glare and turned away.

Of course, as she read the pamphlet, she was completely oblivious to a large seven-tailed fox made of ice watching her with amusement from a nearby alley, a familiar kit on its back. 'She's taking it surprisingly well so far,' the fox mused, continuing to watch her.

Kimera read it closely. She then went back in, "I want it lazer removed." She demanded. The artist laughed hard. "Yeah like I haven't heard that one before. Girly, that pretty thing is permanent along with the bond. Now finish that pamphlet." The artist said. Kimera left shivering in the cold night. She glared at the pamphlet. "I am sure whatever that man thing is will leave me alone. It was just one time he saw me." It was then she noticed the large seven-tailed fox in her car's rear view mirror. She paled before gulping. The young woman put the car in to drive and drove off trying to forget what she saw.

When Kimera got home, she found another ice rose on her living room table, along with another note. Be grateful you got my tattoo and not someone else's; there are demons who wouldn't hesitate to make you into little more than their glorified sex-slaves. I'm at least willing to take it slow.
- Sam
P.S.: I got you a little present. You seemed rather attached to the little guy, and I noticed the sign that said employees couldn't buy pets from their own store. He'll respond to whatever name you want him to.Meanwhile, a familiar yipping sound was coming from a box with air holes next to the note... a box which was running in circles on four furry little white feet.

Kimera blushed before shouting at the flower and note. "yeah well I got a tazer! You just try that with me!" She said really red in the face. She then saw the box and the P.S. She awed at it. "Kenji?" She said hopeful. Kimera carefully took off the box to see the little arctic kit she sold to the man. The young woman wrapped her arms around the little guy. "I never thought I would have you. You are just too cute." She said scratching his ear.

The newly named Kenji yipped happily before starting to lick Kimera's face repeatedly and with much enthusiasm (and fox slobber), tail even wagging as if he were a dog.

Kimera giggled before pulling him off her face. "Let's get something to eat, ok?" She said smiling. The young woman cooked up some dinner and split it three ways. She took a plate and walked over to her apartment's balcony. She looked around it and placed the plate for the demon she knew was near. Kimera quickly went back inside for the warmth. She ate her food and changed in to pjs. She picked up Kenji and cuddled with him in her bed to sleep.

The next morning, the food she'd put out for the demon had vanished, having obviously been eaten... though considering the fox slobber all over it, it was difficult to tell whether it was Kenji or the demon that had eaten it. At any rate, it was still snowing outside, yet the snow level had somehow stayed the same, and when Kimera checked the news, there were reports of a strange white beast being seen in an abandoned shack not far from her house - what it was was unclear exactly, but the witnesses seemed to think it was an arctic fox... with the exception of one very, very drunk fellow, who insisted it was a living seven-tailed fox ice sculpture that had walked up to him and pissed on his shoe. "Whatever it is," the reporter was saying, "it's probably best to steer clear of it."

"Or you can run the thing over?!" Kimera shouted at the tv. She was making eggs and bacon. She sighed before piling one with bacon and placing it outside. She didn't like him but she wasn't heartless. Though when Kimera turned to Kenji, she melted and pulled him in her arms and fed him by hand happily. "I am wondering why he got you for me." kimera said to the kit. She picked up the ice rose before going to the balcony. "I don't really like roses. I like Hydrangeas. One is like a million flowers being given. What do you like?" She asked placing the rose next to the plate of bacon. She picked up Kenji to bring him to work.

"Well, I'm personally rather fond of snowdrops," a cheerful voice with a faint Japanese accent noted conversationally, shortly followed by a white blur taking the bacon, shortly followed by a light crunch as the bacon was sampled. "Probably has something to do with me being more of a winter fox than anything else. Still, if you didn't like roses, you could've mentioned it sooner; I only went with those because I heard they're the traditional flower for human courtship." With that, the ice rose was promptly reshaped into an ice hydrangea, though the source of the voice was nowhere in sight.

Kimera blushed at what she heard. She drive to the shop and had Kenji on her shoulder. She fed the others and stocked up again. Though she did have an ice hydrangea in her hair. "I feel like I should move to a place that already had alot of snow year around cause I have a feeling this guy will keep it snowing here." She said herself.

"That's not my fault - when a fox demon's power goes above seven tails, they end up influencing the environment whether they want to or not," the same voice commented; this time, however, it was the man from yesterday, and he had an Italian accent instead of a Japanese one. The voice was definitely the same, though, as he looked around with interest. "On that note, do you have any fox treats? Hopefully in chicken alfredo or beef teriyaki flavor? Don't get me wrong, your cooking is good, but I figure it's best to have an alternative in case I ever need to evade your righteous female fury."

Kimera glared when he said that, "Ok first you going to have to tell me your name. Second, I would never deny someone food. And third my cooking is ******** awesome. Get it right." She said walking right up to him and looking right up in to his eyes. She then turned in a way so her pony tail could smack him. She walked to the fox treat section. She picked out the two flavors and rang him up. "That will be ten dollars, sir." She said professionally. She petted kenji before asking, "Why did you get me Kenji?" She wanted to know.

"Firstly, my name is Samuke, but you can call me Sam - if you'll recall, that's how I signed the letter that came with Kenji. Secondly, how was I supposed to know that? Most of our interaction consists of you wishing pain and/or death on me and/or threatening me, with the only four exceptions being when we first met, dinner last night, this morning, and right now... and I'm not entirely sure this morning counts, since I overheard you wishing I'd get run over. Thirdly, I know that, but again, I think it'd be best to have backup rations," the newly identified Samuke quipped back dryly even as he handed over the ten bucks and took the treats. "As for Kenji, that's really quite simple: you obviously wanted the little guy, he obviously wanted to be with you, and I've got a soft spot for arctic foxes."

"Maybe cause you are a larger one?" Kimera said bagging up his food. She then looked up shyly at him. "T-Thank you for giving him to me. You didn't have to and I did read over the pamphlet and you are being nicer than what many of your kind do. I just never had a good experience with men. So sorry for taking it out on you." She took a deep breath before saying, "And yeah sorry about that run over bit, that was a little harsh." Kimera said blushing looking away.
