The instant that the man was hit by his companion, Avior's heart dropped. He honestly did not know that contact was needed to drain energy; the whole situation seemed far rougher than he had imagined. There was a grab for his own heart, a tug and longing to help the ranger who struggled against the mighty Titan's grasp. Soon enough, the man went limp, dangling down from where he was raised.
"They'll wake up tired and with a pretty bad headache.." His words were murmured, and he picked up the gun, and the radio, taking it back into the building and setting it down safely on his desk. Sliding a gun sounded dangerous, and with gloves on, there was no risk for finger prints or such left behind. He wouldn't want to accidentally set the gun off by kicking it incorrectly, even if he wasn't that clumsy.
"So.. How do you do this to women then? I don't know, but I don't think I would feel so good about hitting someone to drain them. With your size, it's easy to subdue a person, right? Well, no, no, not easy, but easier than I could." There was a large difference between their body type and sizes, and even if he was strong enough to subdue someone, holding them still would be a whole other matter.
"I do know that the Dark Mirror Senshi uses wraiths to drain, and that they go through a person, like a ghost, leaving the drained and incredibly tired. There were a few rogue ones a few days ago that I and another senshi encountered. It went right through me, and I fell to my knees, nearly passing out. It's probably easier to do alone, compared to this, yet at the same time, I cannot guarantee that person to be safe." Even when he passed out from being drained, there was another senshi there, watching over him. He rummaged around a bit, finding the man's car keys, and made sure everything was left the way they found it. They were only Thieves of energy, not of actual items.

"A headache is a small price. Better than one of us getting shot. The energy must be gotten. A ranger, security guards- these are people who are paid to face danger. They are paid well, and they expect to face it. They are better prepared for it. " The suggestion of a woman being somehow different in approach was laughable, and Titan did laugh. "What do you mean if it was a woman? They are no different if they are a security guard. There are plenty of very dangerous women. " SpecOps had plenty to spare, and so did the gym he worked out at. "If you mean the difference between a fragile person and a healthy person, I wouldn't jog them on the head. But I don't like to take energy from fragile, or from regular people if I can avoid it. It can be very ...." vocabulary was hard. He wanted 'traumatic', but it wasn't coming to mind, "It can cause a lot of hurt. Emotion worry. Like school shootings do when people need to talk to counselors. " "I guess it is easy at my size." He didn't sound very certain though, "I have had trouble in the past. It is better to be careful- less chance to get hurt or to over-hurt your target." Titan shifted his limp park ranger to a bride-like carry and crossed to the vehicle. "If we leave the window a little open, he will breath, and we can lock the door so he can be safe until he wakes. " It wasn't hard to maneuver the passed out man into the driver's seat and buckled upright. "The wraiths are not something to count on, as far as I have heard. It is why we do not have an alliance- a sword uncontrolled is dangerous to all hands. " "I prefer to use my own and be in control of them."

"I wish there was another way to gather energy than simply having to take it from people. Maybe I should work towards working in a prison or something, somewhere to drain energy without feeling terrible about it. I think it might just take some getting used to, and working with someone else. Is it lonely at times? Being out here and draining all alone? Surely there must be quite a number of those who are part of the Negaverse, just like there are alot of White Moon senshi. I never understood going on about it all alone, then again, I've never really had people to go about with. Always a chance meeting or what not." Avior bit his lip, feeling a bit bad about mentioning a 'woman' rather than a week person. He had honestly thought that because of the woman and her dog that had been mentioned earlier. Who was he to know if she was strong? Perhaps armed with mace, but certainly not a fire arm. Atleast he HOPED not.
"How is this not all that traumatizing then?" The car unlocked with a flash of lights, and as Titan put the man into the car, he stood back, watching him lay the man down. "But my logic is filled with all these unknowns, too many variables, or other possibilities to think about, and over thinking about it would just make life more difficult. I'm ready to begin new, begin to take action as a positive person, rather than questioning every little thing I do."
"You are right, though, I hope that when I join, I can better control them than previous Dark Mirrors have. Not that I want to be better than them, just.. To keep things neutral between the factions. I won't know more about anything until I actually get to doing, you know?" As Titan stepped out of the way, he gently closed the door on the sleeping guard, smiling. Why, that wasn't so difficult at all! Stressful, yes, but it went rather smoothly, all things considered. And he had even gotten to touch a gun!
"I hope to switch over as soon as I can, to start this kind of work for their leaders, and stop being usless, but being the age I am, it's not the easiest to just.. Appear out of nowhere and say 'I'm here!' and go on about life as if nothing ever happened. There's paperwork, and I still want to go to school, so there's registration for that.. The worst part.. Finding a place to live. Try to explain being 16 and wanting your own apartment. It hardly ever happens, unless you're emancipated.."

"It sounds like you are choosing on who deserves it. Do you choose who to drain based on that? If they're in for drug charges is that better or worse than stealing a purse? I don't think a prisoner will fight draining any less, anyway. And they are just people who made mistakes. That does sound like too much thinking." "Prison is a dark place, though, so maybe they wouldn't be so bad to face a wraith and ....feeling helpless. Maybe that is the worst of it. Of facing a sushi or an agent- humans alone are not meant for the war. But you're right I think about over thinking." Titan laughed, "I try not to. " He started walking, their first mission accomplished, a trajectory along the path he'd scouted. He held out the energy ball for Avior to see, "A great thing in a small package." "It does get lonely, collecting these. It is good for training, though. We cannot be part of a chain until we are forged into links. Some tests and experiences are best alone, to give value to partners and teams. I hope my lord will one day have a drótt. " All the business about needing a papers and registrations made his head swim. He'd never thought of any of that, and it sounded like a lot of trouble. He wondered why it was even needed, but there had to be some reason. "That sounds like a lot. Does their queen take care of those papers for you? Those are harder than a place to live- there are many in that court. Someone must have a place you could be." "And if not, I am getting a place soon. There is no order against the mirror court as enemy. You could stay where I live, if there is nothing better. I am not so fancy, but anything for 6 months, ja? If you like, you could stay, if you found something else, you could go. But it seems a good idea to get a place with more than one room, anyway, in case someone needs help. And a big couch. "

"The more you speak of draining.. The more I think of it, it just seems like there is no good option. If I had the choice, I wouldn't, but if my prince or princess needs it, who am I do deny this from happening? I don't think I really want to think too much more about it. Not right now." He hoped that would be forward enough to say that the idea of stealing energy wasn't want he wanted to talk about anymore, and that the subject should steer away from that, at least for now.
"I do not know what a drótt is, exactly, but if it is a good thing, and your lord deserves it, then he should get it someday soon. And.. Yes, it is alot. there is so much to do, but the queen cannot take care of such things for me. The organization.. Yes, there are people there, but they are young as well, most still going to University and living in dorms and such.. There is no real place for me among them. That is why I'm hesitating to change, because I really don't want to have to live in the streets because of how hard it is to rent somewhere to live on my own."
An offer? Really, did he JUST get an offer? He had to stop, taking the larger man's hand into his own, stopping him from walking any further.
"You'd really let me stay with you? I can help pay rent and stuff like that! I'm making sure to have a really really large chunk of money before I change sides, so that I would never be a burden to whoever takes me in. If you honestly.. Truly think this is a viable option for me, to stay with you, I could not be happier, and I would want you to find a place that is perfect for you, no matter the price! I could take care of it, honest!"

Titan paused when his hand was taken by the smaller ones, considering the young scout. They do not house their own or give them papers to live? It is no good saying he should rethink such an group. We offer housing to our own, and our agents help our sushi to adjust to new lives. He will know best what is for him. " Drótt, is a war band in old days. When warriors took ship and invaded other lands for glory and riches." "If you can help with rent, I don't see why you couldn't stay with me. There's two of us, so it can be split evenly. It isn't a burden, and if it was, my shoulders and back are large and strong- built to carry many to good fortune, ja? So don't worry about it. " "We can meet just like this again when you are sworn, and I can show you what I have found. If it suits us both, I can rent it." No muss, no fuss, no heavy thinking.

"So.. You wish to have your lord to have such an army? You want to have someone invade the rest of the world for glory and riches? Well, then I hope it happens, and that it would be the right thing to do." The boy could not bring himself to let go of the other's hand. When was the last time he had touched someone that was a hug, a handshake, even a touch on the shoulder..
No, the last contact he had was a punch in the face and a tackle off of a rooftop. Not the best, no not at all, so this kind gesture, as long as he wasn't pushed away or the hand taken from him, would be enjoyed to the fullest. And it wasn't all that often that a hand was so much bigger than his own. Granted, he was always the small one, easily dwarfed by those around him, but these were just gargantuan!
"I can only say that I am grateful to you. Moreso than most others I have met in my entire time in this world of war.. " In the faint light of the park, the red hue that was now starting to spread across his cheeks, to his ears was hardly noticeable. The only person who could come to mind as being as kind as this one was his own prince, and even then..
"How can I find you again? It's not as easy as simply calling you on the phone, is it? The date if when I'm sworn is not something I can pin point exactly, no.."

"That is a little tricky. " It was a good question, how to get a hold of someone on the other side. There wasn't proof positive, having had no answers to Zinkenite's requests, of Avior being trustworthy to the higher officers. So he couldn't give the other his own identity. That nixed out his cellphone as well, since it was civilian, and his crystal communicator was Negaverse only. "Honor-bound that there aren't ambushes...I can start my patrols on this day at the lake. At sunsat, and wait an hour there. If you want to meet, you will have a definite day and time then to know I will be there. " "At least until you are sworn. Then maybe a better way can be found."

"I don't know if I feel good about you waiting an hour here before hand.. If your patrols are around this area, and If I want to meet with you, or you with me, we could leave eachother little notes, something small, that only we would know what it is about? I had to do this before with some of the Dark Mirror Senshi, like leaving a little picture of something in a public place. Something that would hold no meaning for most people. Could we do something like that, instead/ That way, you would not have to be waiting for an hour on whether or not I'll show up, or vice versa. "
"Oh.. Are we going to keep going tonight?" The question had been floating around in his mind for a little bit, but with the sudden offer to finally have another home, he could not help but get distracted. "I'm willing to continue offering my help, if it would be of service to you."

"Notes could work. " His handwriting wasn't too many steps above giving a bear a pencil, but they could...try it? They'd worked out for when he'd gotten turned into a cat, and this was a little less awkward than that. At the question, Titan considered the energy ball, and shook his head, "No, it is enough for now. Cupcakes sound better. A successful first mission and the good news of a place to be. A court and at least a place if you need one to live. " "We should at least get out of the park, and can find a quite roof to picnic? And call it a night?"

"Notes, drawings, little thing placed in a place we could both check." It was a good idea, atleast he thought it was! And he couldn't lie about not being happy with the idea of stopping for the night. Slow and steady, that's how he would have to introduce himself into this world of energy gathering. Finally dropping Titan's hand, he thought for a moment about where a nice place to go snack would be, looking around the park.
"I think that sounds great.. Somewhere nice and relaxing.. Do you have a place in mind?"

"How about in the tree I was leaned against? It had large branches, and a hollow in the crown where things could be put out of danger- no wind and not seeable from below just looking at it. The leaves will be falling soon, so it will be important." As for the picnic? He'd planned a place for the end, so he he started leading there. There was a billboard some ways down toward the city on the state route. While the road wasn't scenic or private, on the ledge behind the board was- it overlooked an attractive swath of wildflowers where white tailed deer seemed to like to graze at dawn and dusk. Their approach scared off a few, but the end of the summer's flowers were still there and cheerful- brilliant purple chicory, orange jewelweed and queen anne's lace. The lights from the other side of the billboard kept bugs away from them, but gave enough light along the edges and rim of the seat/walk to see by in the dying day. Titan was tall enough that he could just reach the ledge by lifting his hand above he head, so he slid the satchel of cupcakes up before offering to boost Avior up, "We can sit, eat, watch the stars come out and then head home for rest." Cooro Cooro This probably works as a close for Titan for this scene~

"That's perfect then. I'll leave a know just for you there, then. Hopefully everything will be taken care of soon." The boy wasn't quite sure if he had said this already, but it was worth repeating, at least it was in his mind.
There was no questioning where the man lead him along to; if anything, Avior could firmly say that this man was close to the top of his 'people to trust' list. A gentle giant, persay, and nothing could have made him happier than remaining by his side for the rest of the night. Their walk was quite, but pleasant, and quite frankly, the boy was rather astonished at what lied before him. Though behind a billboard they were, it was cozy, and sitting beside Titanlåvenite just seemed to feel right.
Together, they sad, enjoying the sweet treats and gazing out to the flowers and sky before them. Two opposite sides, at peace for the time being, enjoying one another's company. It was a bizarre but fully welcomed conclusion to the evening..
"I wonder if life will be like this for us all the time once I change, behind happy like this, not fighting.." He murmured to himself, more than anything else. Though he did wish to lean against the other's shoulder, to completely let his body relax while he rested in the safety of the kind, blonde man's company, he restrained himself, uncertain if such an action would be even acceptable at this moment. No matter, he would have enough time to learn more about Titanlåvenite, about how he worked, how he acted outside of his tasks by his leader. And soon enough, he'd be able to show his true self as well.
Ivynian This will be a closer for Avior for now too!
