And if you want, you can start a thread and start collecting artists.
We'll need a theme, graphics and coding (not too hard to find, given this is the art committee, haha) and all that jazz.
If you use a mule (Artist Mule, fundraising mule, whichever), I can help co-run it, but otherwise you're got the reins! (:
Alright, I'll start working out a possible format for the shop. Next step is to hopefully hear from PinkieKitty about the mule. Theme isn't my area of expertise, nor is graphics/style, so that should be left up to someone else. I would suggest a separate pick-up thread with each artist making their own post to put up recent pick-ups and probably a second pick-up archive here in the Guild to keep track of everything. I'll save a backup of every completed work myself, just in case, because I like security. Lol

I think the seperate thread idea would depend on the number of artists. If you only have a few, i say have them each post twice. The first can be their info, the second a pickup post. That depends on the number of artists though.
The extra thread in the guild sounds like a great idea though! nice idea!

Thinking ahead, it would be impractical to have the artists post on the main page at all. Should any artist join or leave the entire front page becomes problematic. Having only the OP (a thread owner, or the mule) post, the artists have the freedom to join or leave should it be required without upsetting the thread, and always having someone there to change things if necessary. And a separate pick up thread gives plenty of room for every artist, up to fifteen artists a page, to have a clear and obvious place where users can find their art.

To put in my two cents, I think it would be better for the mule post for the same reasons that Kay listed. Also, I think that there shouldn't be more than 6 artists in a shop, because then it gets confusing and cluttered (and that way we can also have a pickup post/put their pickup at the end of their post without getting too messy). If we have more than that (like, maybe 12 artists volunteer???), then we should probably split up into two shops.

Kay9214 I dunno about organizing a shop, I don't know if I could or if I would know how. (Could probably figure it out, but it'd likely be better to be safe than sorry) I will help in any way I can/you guys would like me to though. And the art mule information is still listed in the old Guild. Should the Artist Mule still be considered available for use for something like this? Yes! I'll give the information to spotted now. Thanks for reminding me.

Also, just a little thing about how awesome art shops are:
Our art shop last year wasn't very active and didn't stay up longer than a month. We still raised about 2.5mil. That's incredible. So we need to get as many art shops out there as we can.
