Ilmenite, though, shrugged -- toying with a pack of cigarettes and, in this moment, not smiling his dangerous, tempting smile. Instead he looked wary, guarded. An echo of Tess's own expression. She looked him over, assessing, disapproving maybe, and then looked back to Zink. "I'm not talking about the where. I'm talking about the what. It sounded much less...sinister." Except, of course, the second the word came out her mouth, she realized it was true. She was in a strange place with people who reached into chests and teleported. Who could pick her up like she was a fraction her size. "...I don't much have a choice, do I."

He looked like he wanted to say something, but then stopped. He could do little to be ‘reassuring’ short of powering down or returning them to the edge of the forest where they had been moments ago. But that wouldn’t change what had happened, or how limited her choices were. “There are always choices, we just don’t always like them.” He tipped his head to one side as though acknowledging the distasteful options before her. “But there is a choice, either way it will be a painful one I’m afraid.”

Her eyes flicked, again, from Zink onto Ilmenite -- who shrugged at her, slowly, only faintly apologetic, and finally stepped up next to the General-King. It was probably time for them to get this done. "Do you want me to do it, or him to try, this time?" He said it with a jerk of his head to Zink. Weirdly, that seemed to calm her. Changed the choice. Simplified it. She squinted at the both of them and sniffed. "I don't care." She wouldn't give them the benefit of deciding.

“As you wish.” Zinkenite replied, and with a sideways glance for a moment at Ever he reached into her chest without a moments grace period, and pushed chaos into the pulsing warmth within her. “Welcome to the Negaverse.” He said stepping back after the deed was done, after he’d dimmed that brightness with the cool and determined darkness of chaos.

His fingers slid away, and the freshly-awakened Senshi swayed just slightly, rocking back on the heels of her boots, and fingers fluttering up to the hole in her chest -- Richter thought she could feel his fingers there, still, a dull ache that lingered, that stole her breath and left her blinking, glazed. The rocking turned to a swaying and Ilmenite finally stepped in, carefully, to catch her elbow, before she entirely lost her balance. "I...that is..." Richter didn't know what to say. She blinked up at Ilmenite, flushed, caught herself, and shook him off. She could stand on her own. Even if she couldn't find the words.

“Strong, Determined.” He nodded. “Good call Ilmenite.” He nodded again approving. “This is why he couldn’t do it on his own, this is why he knocked you out, weather you knew it or not, they would have found you, the senshi, the ones the news likes to refer to as the terrorists. The visible part of the war that consumes this city, but he, General Ilmenite here… I’m afraid one way or another they would have made you a part of this war.” He offered her a hand, a rare gesture indeed. “I am called Zinkenite, General-King.” He added. “This is the Dark Kingdom, and below us, through those doors is the rift, where the once great kingdom of earth lays at rest, cast down by the Senshi’s moon queen. Never travel through those doors alone, there are things sealed into the walls who don’t care what side a senshi fights on, and you are a senshi.” “I know it hurt, but I have no way to change that.”

Her hair was always long, but right now, it felt heavy. She blinked a bit, fingers going up to the mess wrapped around her head, to the horns at the core of her 'do, to the ring that settled in the center of her forehead. It was all a bit much for a girl who'd only see the footage, who had never even seen a senshi in real life before. Who hadn't really minded being a bit in the dark. His comments, instead of leaving her flushed and pleased and proud, seemed to spark a light of annoyance in her eyes. Too patronizing for Richter to appreciate, too self-satisfied, as if her strength had anything to do with them. "...what now, then?"

“Now? Now Ilmenite can show you the ropes.” He nodded and turned back to Ilmenite with a wicked look in his eyes. “Sound reasonable? She seems bright enough, she should learn quickly and not forget important details.” He spoke with an ire that said someone had done just that. “I think you’d be good at showing people the ropes, I know I can trust you not to teach them bad habits.”

The wary look she turned on Ilmenite wasn't promising -- there was no trust there, no comfort, no certainty. He drew in a breath, blew it out, and blinked at Zink with a flicker of a shrug. Right now, she looked more likely to bite him than sit and listen. She was angry -- "I might hunt down Typhon, and let him explain, instead." He knew her. She'd trust him better, or he had to hope, at least. "Do you want to drop us off at home? I can't take her..."

“I think, that would be a good idea.” He nodded. “Introductions, warnings about the rift…the usual litany?” He nodded as though this were already agreed on. “Let’s go then.” He gave a final nod to each of them, angry or not, she’d get over it or…well she’d suffer the consequences. He teleported them away in the blink of an eye, with no real sign that they had ever stood there, or what had transpired.
