Maji could almost feel herself smirk; the man got so worked up. "Well, why do you think I took Laial here? He needs to get out more. It wouldn't suit D-Corp to have a hermit for a creation. They'd take him away if he spent too much time inside." A gentle smile flickered on Maji's face. "Ah well. I can live through torture for a while," she muttered, reverting back to her not friendly nor mean state. She continued her ice cream, which was half melted by now.
Laial stuck his toungue out, panting slightly. "Not...for...a while," he muttered. He looped himself into the inner tube and dog-paddled a little bit.

Malen smiled but stayed silent. He didn't need to defend himself Del got plenty of interaction with other between visiting ghosts of the past at the headquarters and goignto see talon and her brood.
Del floated around the inner tube ,circleing like a shark. She too was feeling fatigue but the feel of the cool water and being around someone like her would be worth staying in longer.

Maji sighed when she finished the last bite. "Ah well. I doubt that you would need to worry about such things." She stood up and threw the cup and spoon away. Unbeknowst to her, this movement caused her hat to slip off, revealing her dirty-blonde cat ears beneath. "Hmm...another ice crean or just ice..." she pondered, unaware her hat slipped off.
Laial started to swim deeper out in the wave pool, enjoying the rocking motion of the machine-generated waves. He spotted a little opening in the wall of the pool where it looked like a river. "Hey, wanna go through that?" he asked her, pointing to the opening. While she was distracted, he took the moment to plop an inner tube over her head.

Malen blinked and then smiled " Another one of the eight million Nekos runnign around Gaia i see." he wasn't sure why this woman had chosen to hide what she was unless she was ashamed.
Del squealed in surprise then used her tail to pop erself intoa comfy height inthe tube " You scared me" she accused the boy then nodded " Maybe it leads to a magical island" she murmerd getting a misty look in her eyes thinking about the magicla islands in the books her father read to her.

Maji twitched when she realized her hat fell off, but relaxed when he thought it was natural. Still, it irked her that he would go and generalize her with the real half cats in the world. She lightly snorted and closed her eyes, still seated at the table. "Think what you will," she replied, her voice finally cold.
Laial shook his head lightly. "Wanna find out?" he asked her, aware that going that way would cause the gaurdians not to see them. Glancing at them, he decided they were just distracted enough so that he and the girl could slip by.

Malen sighed and closed his eyes. Atleast del was havng fun and he wasn't going to ruin that for her she'd earned it.
Del nodded " Yeah let's see what's there." She didn't much mind leaving her father's sight after all her friend was older than her and would protect her she was certain. the thought suddenly popped into her head that she didn't know him " My names Del what's yours?"

Maji paused for a second. Perhaps she should say something more. Just because he felt like Ancient Egypt. "Don't go judging people based on appearance, Ra." She spoke out the last word dripping with sarcasm.
Laial grinned. "Mi name's Laial. Now, come on!" he encouraged as he started down the lazy river path.

Malen's eyes widened and then he smiled softly "I apoligise for offending you." He really did run into the strnagest of people on gaia.
Del floated after him happily using her tail to keep her movign at a smotth pace becuase her legs created drag.

Maji looked away. "You seemed surprised for a second. What would there be to be surprised about?" Her voice returned to the 'Not friendly, not evil' tone, though there was a pinch of curiosity in it as well.
Laial grinned, enjoying the fact the current carried him. Suddenly, water splashed on his head and hat. "Mehh!" he squeaked as he shook his head and looked above him. Sure enough, there was a waterfall feature that he had missed.

Malen smiled " Despite the numerous deities invoked all over Gaia. it has been a long time since i Heard anyoen mention the names of the egyptian gods.
Del approached the waterfall with glee looking up as she passed through it only to get water in her eyes and nose. Shaking her head she laughed " I hope there are more of those." she said though she knew next time to to look directly into them.

Maji turned around. "So, you know of them? I only know a few names...I'm more knowledgable on Ancient Greek." Well, well, well...let's see what he knows, shall we?
"Maybe," Laial replied. He looked ahead only to see... "Ah! There's a split in the path! Whi' way do you wanna go?" He saw a sign at the begining of each of them, but didn't feel like reading them. Who would?

Malen grinned" I know them by heart and various bits of other cultures, greek, roman. indian. I'm missign several countries but it's usually not an issue." Malen's mother had raised him to be mindfull of all faiths and he'd enjoyed leanrign the role of the differents gods and goddeses in each culture.
" left" Delphinidae chose for no particular reason after all it's not like one could lead to a magical island and the other to the edge of a waterfall right.

Maji smirked lightly. "Ah, I only know of very few. Greek, Egypt, Roman, Norse, and very little Hindu and Buddism. Do you by chance know who the deity of the sea is for Egypt?"
Left, hmm? Laial pushed the tube to the left while attempting to read the sign. 'Wild Wildbeest' it read. Well, that couldn't be anything that bad, now could it? Ah well, too late now.

Malen looked thoughtfull " Nun for we was there in the waters before there was even land." Malen was aware that some people may awnser differently but he would stick to what he believed.
As the speed of the river picked up Del began to think that maybe they should have gone the other way. before she could open her mouth to suggest trying to turn back they rounded a corner and the current took her on a wild ride. At first she was scared but the.. it was fuun and she was screamigm from joy " wheeeee."

"Ah. Weren't there a pair of cat sisters? Who were they?" Maji asked. She actually didn't know her first question, and she couldn't tell if he was right or not. So she got smart and asked a question she knew the answer to.
Laial's grey eyes widened when he reliazed the path that she had chosen. "Weh..." he started, but changed the tone to, "WHEEEEEEEE!" as he got futher down the slide. Suddenly, he couldn't see anything as he had entered the tunnel. He could hear, though. He heard his excited shouts echo in the tunnel.
