Daring tilted her head as Sunny's words were seemingly cut off. "As a what?" Ba- could mean anything. She gave the other an odd look as she continued her strange, if not confusing actions.
"You're assuming no one saw it. Who knows who may may have been here in the past, and how long ago. This place could have some sort of significance. And I don't think it was made by the faeries. The mine we traveled through probably wasn't even made by them. They wouldn't have made the tunnels big enough for us to walk through if it was just for their use." Daring suggested to the other pae. Looking around, so far there wasn't any evidence that anyone had been trapped here, but they were only in one room. Daring just had to hope there was another way out somewhere down one of the paths.
Daring still had her pocket knife in hand. "I'll mark the path again so that we don't get lost. We'll come back here and try another one if it doesn't work out." She waited for Sunny to lead the way since she had the lantern.

Sunny Jones Held up her map. "So instead of going for the fountain of youth or Visions of the Future we have decided to go with wealth." When she noticed that the other had pulled out her pocket knife to mark the walls. "We should not ruin the blade of that knife any more." She put the lantern on the ground and easily grabbed the handle of the pick ax and offered it to Daring. "Use this it was made to mark the walls and who will know when we will need a sharp knife." She said before she picked up the lantern again and led the way down the dark hall way. After walking a way she sighed it was no good to lie about it any more. "The reason I know the things I do is because I can hear the dead."
Daring Do tilted her head at the strange talk that came out of the others mouth. Sunny was looking at her map, "Is all that on your map?" she asked, confused. Daring Do wasn't sure which of the paths Sunny talked about would be the best. Daring accepted the pick ax and put her pocket knife away, it was a good idea, Daring just didn't have her own pick axe anymore. "You can hear the dead?" Daring asked. It was a strange thing, something like that. Daring wasn't sure if the other was crazy or just had a unique ability. Although, it seemed to be leading them well at the moment... so maybe it was real. Daring was admittedly slightly jealous, hearing the dead meant a link to the past. "Did they tell you anything about this path?" Daring asked stopping and prepared to turn around.

Sunny Shook her head. "They are very noisy so it is hard to know what they want me to do. Normally my hat is used to block the weaker of the dead's voices but with out it my mind is pretty much filled with options and ideas of what they want me to do." she shrugged and sighed. "It is both a curse and a blessing, Watch out there are is a step down over here." She stopped and held up the lamp to illuminate the step down for daring. "A curse because you never know what is your original idea and what is there and that I am never alone. Also I can not go against them." Once she saw the daring got past the step she took up her spot in the front. "A blessing because they tell you things that happened in the past. Although not all that they say is true and many of the times they are almost always connected to there death. Huh now this is interesting." She stopped and looked at the the wall that seemed to have some sort of pictogram on it.
Daring followed, listening to Sunny's story and keeping an eye on the path that was illuminated for them with the lantern. Even though they were going down a path that was mostly straight forward so far, with no more forks, she still made a small mark on the wall every once in a while. You never knew what might happen in a place like this. This could be a place with booby traps after all. The fauny stopped to look at the picture that was on the wall. "Wonder if this is related to those runes I found in the mine earlier..." Daring mentioned.

You can choose what is making the dead excited
"It could be, I wish I had a wrighting implement of some type to record this to look it up later." She stopped and closed her eyes and placed her hand on her head. After a few seconds she opened her eyes and smiled at daring. "They say that something is ahead of us. And before you ask they did not say what was only something." She was worried that they would be walking in this hall for the rest of there lives. "I was worried that this place but they seem excited about what is ahead of us." Sunny's hand went to the whip handle that was on her hip. "Warning, the things that make them excited are not always good for our health." she started to walk forward.
Daring Do paused again, "Something ahead of us?" Well that had been fairly vague. She was about to ask if it was good or bad, but Sunny was already on that and had answered her question. Excitement, well that was a good thing, Daring was ready to trudge on when she had to stop yet again when Sunny pulled out her whip. "Okay..." Daring narrowed her eyes and pulled out her pocket knife. Pickaxe in one hand, pocket knife in the other, she was set for whatever might come at them and began moving forward once again. "You know it is strange... I haven't seen any rare minerals or signs of mining other then the digging of a tunnel. I wonder if this is even a mine... or something else..." Daring said in a low whisper. As they moved along the torch light finally hit a waist-height pedestal in the middle of the hallway. It was empty, but it looked like something was supposed to be there.

Perhaps Sunny Jones' intuition was onto something, whether it was the spirits talking to her or just some kind of deep gut instinct. It did look like something belonged on the pedestal that Daring Do approached. There was even a darker colored center to the pedestal, where something may have once rested, perhaps even recently. It was not nearly as dusted as the areas around it.
If Daring Do would dare to set her hand on it, she would find that there was a slight indentation where something may have once laid.
And then, they could see it.
There was a Pae'il in front of them, features hard to truly define, though thin wings were visible on the silhouette. The wings were flapping rather rapidly, seemingly keeping the Pae'il easily afloat. The words they were saying were impossible for the modern Pae'il to decipher, an ancient language that sounded coarse and strange to the ears of those who were seeing the visions.
The cheers that followed the head Pae'il's words, though, were unmistakable. Around them, the cheers grew to a cacophony, enthusiasm in the room rising and rising. Those around them seemed to be determined to do something, the emotions in the speaker's voice unmistakable. There was a sense of determination and there was a sense of victory, especially as the Pae'il lifted their arms up and placed something on the pedestal.

The phantoms disappeared, leaving Daring Do and Sunny Jones in the room they had been in before. On the pedestal now were two coins. Those had been there before, hadn't they?
((Congrats on winning an Angel and Elemental coin. More will be discussed about their purpose in the final wrap-up. The Angel coin (bronze one--on the left) is for Sunny Jones. The Elemental coin (gold one--on the right) is for Daring Do.
Daring Do and Sunny Jones now must find a way home on their own. All magic barriers and limitations on magic and abilities have been lifted. The events of this RP are canon, so please ensure they actually find a way out.))

Sunny was tense as she moved forward her mind riddled with all the things it could be before them but when she saw the light of the lantern iluminate the pedeatal she gave a sigh of relief. "Well that was anti climatic." her hand removed moved from the whip handle as she walked towards it. "I agree with you Daring it is odd that there is no sign of tool marks on the walls or any type of rare minerals only for a pedestal to be here and empty at th..."
Some thing seemed off for Sunny The dead never got this excited about a regular stone pedestal she thought as she examinded it with her hand. Looking up she saw the Pae and jumped back scared. "What in the island." she mouthed to her self as she heard strange words being said to her. These were not like the words of the dead they were corse and strange. She realized for once the dead were silent very odd. The cheers caused her to jump again and look around trying to figure out were all the voices were coming from. "At least they sound happy." she said as she watched as the voice contuned and seemed to place something one the pedestal and then it was all gone. "Ok I do not know what in the island just happened." She then noticed something glimmering in the lantern light. "Well what do we have here." She looked at the coins confused.
Daring had held back from the pedestal, her past experience warned her of booby traps. When the strange vision began, Daring jumped back, wielding Sunny's pick axe. She slowly relaxed realizing whatever was happening, wasn't real. Daring observed the scene in confusion. What was happening? "Can you see-? Do you understand?" Daring wasn't familiar with the tongue that these pae were speaking in, but she wasn't from here either. She let the scene continue until it disappeared... how strange that they had seen this vision. Daring looked over at Sunny. "Did you see what they put on the pedestal?" She had kept herself a few feet back, but now was walking towards it and looking it over. She saw the coins, but that wasn't what the vision had put there.

"I have no clue what they are saying although it worries me I mean the pae seemed so happy about something." she looked closer at the two coins "Yeah I saw what they put on the pedistal but I could not see what it was They seem to have some sort of symbol on them One looks like a butterfly the other like Wind I wonder." she carefully picked up the bronze coin her muscles tenses ready to react if something happened. Nothing did she sighed and looked at the copper coin in her hand. "Huh I think I may have seen this symbol before I just forgot were. I think I will keep this one."

Sunny put the coin into her jacket pocket before walking forward to catch up with Daring. "Well I guess this is our lucky day today I mean we got an interesting show treasure and nothing has tried to kill us yet. So a good day. and there seems to be a door up ahead." She smiled at the thought and then would start her next adventure trying to find her hat these voices were driving her nuts

Interesting show... that was one way to put it. Daring Do still didn't know what to make of it, she barely had any pieces to the puzzle, and to boot she still didn't know much of the history of this new home so she had little context to go off of. Daring was being silent now, mostly lost in her own thoughts, less concerned with getting out of this place. She nodded her head at the mention of the door and walked forward to push it open. They found themselves in some sort of... amphitheater at the best comparison that Daring could think of. This was going to be a dead end.
As they walked Sunny started to whistle a little tune. She had never been good at singing so whistling was a good way to go, She stopped whistling when she realized something. "Daring have you noticed that the cave is getting brighter. Could we be nearing the end of this underground adventure," It was not much light but instead of the pitch black tthat normally was around the it was soft of a dark gray
