Twizzz wasn't sure how the female would react, he was slightly terrified despite the bold action he had made. For a demon, her horns were quite large, and something about them told Twizzz she had the ability to smite him. But he wasn't going to become some man servant just because her horns were larger than his. No, sirree. He was relieved when her only reaction was to say fine and march off, he breathed and slumped back onto his root, holding it to himself for a moment, more out of comfort than anything.

"You be useful..." he muttered under his breath, he wasn't going to push his luck any further with this one. He felt like he was getting on her nerves, but he hadn't done anything but be helpful, at least until she had worn out on him with all of her demands. Is this what all girls are like, so demanding? Twizzz didn't have much experience with them. Or was it because her horns were bigger?

Twizzz slowly worked his way up and slumped over to her... as he walked towards her he noticed a vine that looked an awful lot like a snake seemed to be staring at the other demon. It wasn't unusual for Twizzz to hallucinate, or believe he was hallucinating, so he blinked a few times, willing the snake to turn back into a vine. It remained a snake though... but it wasn't bothering him... and she hadn't noticed it yet. Now the great dilemna to let her deal with it or be 'useful'. "You're really good at making friends." Twizzz said sarcastically as he pointed at the snake and walked away from the snake and the female trying to find another way off this blasted root, which felt smaller and smaller by the minute.

Twizzz found a nice sturdy, non-snake vine, and grabbed it. He looked down at the perilous murky waters, frightened, but he had enough with being stuck on the root with this female, so he took a deep breath and gave a good leap off the root, swinging towards the shore-line. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" he screamed as he flew through the air, dangerously close to the waters below. The male had to give himself an extra boost with his wings, but he landed mostly gracefully on land. He could have kissed it, but refrained.

Once he was safely on the ground, Twizzz quickly dashed off as far from the shore as possible, he didn't know if those creatures hanging out in the water were able to get on land. He looked back over at the root curiously, but the female demon had disappeared. He couldn't have really been hallucinating her too, could he? The male stared off at the unoccupied root for quite a while. " 'Lo?" He called out with a head tilt.

The shove came from nowhere and Twizzz fell face first into the mud. "Gah!" He said as he quickly scrambled up and turned around in circles, looking around for whatever had caused that. "What is going on here?" He couldn't have possibly hallucinated that, he fell!

Twizzz heard the laughing before he saw where the voice was coming from, but he was certain it was that vile female. He glared at the empty space around him, certain that somehow she had made him fall, and now she was laughing at him. Then he saw her, where had she come from?! Twizzz used his forearm to wipe off the mud as best as he could, still frowning all the while. He wanted to tell her she was mean, but in his mind it sounded petty and weak. Twizzz came up with half a dozen mean responses while he glared up with her, but chose not to say anything at all. Instead he walked further away from the swamp and gathered up some fruit from the bush, storing some in his mouth and some in his bag. If she was going to be mean to him, she would have to survive on her own.

Twizzz tried his best to visibly ignore her, but in his mind he couldn't stop thinking about her. Was she really going to follow him like a puppy? She clearly didn't like him, why would she insist on staying with him. These female-type were so confusing. Twizzz sighed, he was refusing to talk to her for the time-being, but it was awfully hard to stay quiet, or at least keep himself from thinking out loud.

Once his stomach was satisfied and he had put as much food away as he possibly could, he moved on. Twizzz scratched himself, without any bug spray, he felt like he was getting eaten alive, and he probably was too. If he could visibly see all the bugs that were flying around, that was a lot of bugs. They... he... needed to get away from this boggy area. Evil, vile female stealing his bug spray. Twizzz began pushing through the bushes, being sure to release them quickly, so that if she chose to follow him, she might get whacked with one of the branches.

Twizzz sighed, disappointed that the branched didn't serve as much of a deterrent from his shadow. Eventually, he stopped doing it, it was more effort than it was worth considering he was rarely hitting her and she seemed to be ignoring it. Twizzz wasn't as good at the 'ignoring' thing. Even if she had been 'generous' enough to spray him with some bug spray, his whole front end was still getting eaten. The male tried to kill them off when he saw one land on him, but there was more than he could keep up with.

It was difficult to move through the thick jungle, and Twizzz really had no idea where he was going, he mostly went where he was able to push through. He rolled his eyes as the strange female started naming things. Pink pesty seemed to come up a lot and he couldn't help but give her a suspicious look. Twizzz was wearing down quickly and they had only been walking for a short amount of time in all likelihood. It was difficult to tell how time passed in the jungle. Twizzz began knocking on tree trunks, trying to find ones with a decent hollow in them.

Finally a tree made a loud, hollow thunk sound. Twizzz circled around the tree until he found an opening, the decay hadn't created a big enough opening for him to get inside. Twizzz rummaged through his bag, looking for something to help open it. And then he remembered, he had the bag that was missing things. Twizzz turned to his follower and glared at her. "Give me my bag." He demanded, "I need something from it." Clearly, his anger towards her had been slowly building in its pent-up state.

Twizzz gave the female a good hard stare. "Your bag doesn't have anything sharp in it, because you dropped it in the water with the rest of those things." He said sternly. Why did she have to be so difficult? All he needed was one thing! Twizzz tried pushing on some of the rotted pieces of the tree, trying to make the opening bigger by hand, but he only was able to make it a little bigger that way, he was going to need something sharp for the rest.

The male was tired and cranky and irritable and itching, oh the itching didn't stop!

Twizzz sighed, a shovel would probably do just fine for this, he was frustrated that she had known better then him. And it was him that she had been calling pinky pest. Ugh! Twizzz began digging at the rotting bark and it wasn't long before he had made the opening to the hollow big enough to squeeze into. He stared at her, what a waste of bug spray, he needed it more. "Not that it is any of your business, but I'm tired and so I found a place to sleep," he told her as he slipped into the hole and made himself at home. After getting in the tree, he realized there was unfortunately enough room for a second pae if she decided to keep following him.

Twizzz coughed and choked on the bug potion as it was sprayed heavily into his new hiding place. Well at least he was properly covered in it now and wasn't likely to get any more bites while he slept. He knew to expect what came next, her head popping in. The nerve. Twizzz gave her a look that screamed, 'Really?!' but he didn't say anything still. Unfortunately, despite the dirty looks and attitude that he gave the female, he did not have the ability to kick her out of his tree. The only thing he could do was to scoot as far away from her as physically possible with in the tree. "Stay on your side," he told her drawing an invisible line through the middle of the space with his finger. Twizzz certainly couldn't wait for this night to be over, but he needed rest more than anything else right now. With any luck she might be gone when he awoke.
