Now Drako turns his attention back to Angel.
"So, we're done on Emo St, time to make this left turn onto Angel st. Now, there was something about some new guy I signed with such an amazing superkick or some crap. Oh yeah, you were asking for a tag match with the Inversions tonight. Something about Trent earning a title opportunity. Yeah I'm going to go right ahead and deny that. The Inversions are a tag team. Their goal is to be tag team champions, not the Inter-Blaze champion. Therefore. it's kind of a dead giveaway to the crowd how that'll go down. No, see around here, you earn title shots. And if you haven't even been in a singles match, why would I give you a shot at a singles title?"
Drako rests his head on his hands on the desk.
"So yeah, that tag match, not happening. But you're a smart little b*****d, aren't you, Angel? Surely you can figure out a way for Trent to start earning a title match? Some way to showcase his in ring prowess. Some interesting ******** match against someone big, someone relevant. A match that will steal the show, wow the crowd, and most importantly impress the boss."

"Let him debut the same way I did, against the king of the mountain, which at this particular moment happens to be your brother...I would say if Trent beats the current DHW Champion that would do nothing less then impress, am I right?"

Practicaly shoving his way into the office came the extremely cocky Lance Perfecto. Literally the only reason he walked in there was to flip off Angel. Thats seriosuly it. Lance walked out shortly after.

"Yeah, no. I see your little game and while I'd love to, next week, Zarel has to defend the belt and you know it. No, but I will give him a champion to face. He wants the Inter-Blaze championship? He's gonna earn it my way...." Drako pauses as Lance Perfecto comes in to flick Angel off. "Ok, scratch that. Here's the deal. Trent better impress me in his debut. Someone has an issue with you and since you're not medically cleared to compete, Trent will act in your place. Tonight, Trent goes one on one with Lance Perfecto. If he wins, next week he will face Knight in a nontitle match. If he beats night, at the next PPV, Winter Bloodbath, he will get his one on one title match for the Inter Blaze title. Good enough?"

Angel would turn his head slightly as Lance Perfecto came bursting into the office, and then flipped Angel off. He would then listen to Drako lay out Trents path to the Inner-Blaze title and would nod as Drako asked his opinion of it, beginning tobspeak.
"You know thats perfect Trent will squash.....um who was that guy anyway? Lance No-Talento was it...he'll beat Knight the week after and then claim the title at the next ppv..thats a guaren-damn-tee!!"
With that, Angel would begin to make his way out of the office, he was gonna find that guy that just flipped him off because cleared or not, Angel was gonna slap the taste out of Lances mouth if he could find him wandering around backstage.

Drako sits back in his chair and uses a remote to flip on the tv to watch the show unfold.
"Man I love my job. People are really chasing these titles, I've got one hell of a PPV shaping up, more contracts to look over. Business is great. And best of all, no visits from the cops lately. How can this get any better?"

Drako is once again sitting in his office, looking over the show, when his door opens yet again. His elder brother, Jarel, walks in, looking none too pleased.
Drako: So, I take it you're not happy about your little surprise?
Jarel: Not entirely. You knew he was here. I'd go so far as to say you called him here for this. Explain.
Drako shrugs. "This was actually all him. I got the phone call and gave him the ok. Let's face it, you're three huge names. You've made history. You have your streak, Chrono has a plethora of title reigns, Shadow was the second longest reigning champion in EEW history. The list goes on and on. You've never been in the ring together. Chrono is retired but he wants to witness the end. What's the worst that could happen?"
Jarel leans over the desk. "Don't play stupid with me little brother."
Drako smiles. "Why'd you agree if you're so worried?"
"I'm not worried. I'm simply cautious. Chrono and I don't get along. What's to keep him from doing something drastic?" Jarel's gaze is locked firmly on his younger brother's.
"Not a damn thing, really. I hold no more sway over him than I hold over you. He'll do what he wants. History is going to be made in that cell, dear brother, whether you like it or not. You'll either extend your streak to 42-0 or get your first blemish on a spotless decade and a half long streak." Drako rests back in his chair. "Concentrate on Shadow. Chrono says he just wants to ref, and lets face it, none of my referees are keen on the idea of officiating that match. He has no reason to favor Shadow more than you."
Jarel straightens up. "Fine, but understand if I somehow lose to Shadow, and it's not through Shadow's ability, I'll burn this company to the ground with you and everyone else in it. Hell in a cell is my home. I won't tolerate a blemish that isn't earned. In a decade and a half, no one has been able to stop me there. And no one stops me from gaining vengeance when they've wronged me. Remember that little brother."
Drako frowns. "You remember this? You signed a contract to compete here, however sparingly. And next week, you're going to compete. It won't be a walk in the park, either. You and Zarel, next week, one on one. No titles on the line, just two twin brothers going to war. Have fun with that."
The Dragon smirks. "Oh, I will. I don't need the title, but I'll damn sure show this roster how to put on a match."
He walks out as Drako watches and shakes his head.
"Testy old ********. I better get a good show out of this."

"What didn't he like this time?" Matt asked after entering the office moments after Jarel left. I had been a while, but he was back. At least he hoped he was going to be back. Drako didn't hold history against people, at least not in his experience, but once his older siblings were involved things tended to go.....downhill. Nevertheless, he came in there for a reason. A rather silly reason, but a reason that was important to him all the same. "I just wanted to make sure everything was cool." he said as he pulled out his contract from his back pocket. At least it might have been a copy. Either way, he was hear to get the 411 on things.

"Well, here's a guy I've been wanting to see back in DHW for a long time. So, how can I help you, Mr. Draven?"

"Well Mr. Damone, I was just wondering if I could get a match next card. Trainers gave the go ahead and I'm at 110 percent." Matt said with a grin as he set a few papers down upon Brandon's desk. Instead of just a contract, there appeared to be a medical report and whatever else. "And if you didn't mind, I was going to ask you if I could put on a warm up match for the crowd with a local talent. Wouldn't take much time. Just a couple minutes." he continued. He was good to go and he wanted to show it. Not against a normal roster guy mind you, just some local guy to help brush off the DHW rust that he was feeling. IHell, he could put on the mini match during intermission if Drako allowed it.

Anyway, match granted next card. I'm gonna give you someone I know you can steal the show with. Kid Omega. As for tonight, there's always a local around here for you, so sure. feel free to dust off the ring rust and let it all flow back to you. Can't wait to see you back in action and gunning for titles."

"I don't know about title, but I'll just stick to what I do best. Show up stuffy old ********> he said with a chuckle. "Anyway, thanks for letting me come back man. It really means a lot to me to be here." he said as he extended his hand to his, once again, boss. Out of all the Damone, Matt had the most respect for Drako. Maybe it was the fact that he didn't act like such a self righteous p***k like Jarel and Zarel, mainly Jarel did. Not that it wasn't deserved mind you. It's just that he respected Brandon more.

"Now you're talkin' my language." he said with a grin as he and the boss shook hands. He then let the busy man get back to work and left the office. No doubt off to search for the biggest, nastiest, burliest local fella around. If he were going to shake of the rust, then best do it against someone of equal size of all the other guys around right?
