Jacinthus attempts to dodge.
17 + 8 = 25, dodges completely and retaliates.
17 + 6 = 23/5 = 4.6
Another swift dodge on the part of Jacinthus allowed him to dodge out of the way of the other man's attack. He bounced back a couple of steps before he took in the condition of his opponent. He didn't have much left in him Jacinthus thought to himself as he took aim at the shoulder that was holding the man's shield up and fired. Might as well take that weapon from him he thought to himself, wanting to get rid of the threat that the shield barer presented to him.

Chal's attempts to dodge.
11 + 3 = 14, full dmg, and Chaledony is down. >_>;; *makes a note to dump lots of points into speed for him*
The Massif wasn't even prepared for the next arrow that came at him, slamming into his shoulder in a manner that caused his arm to go numb, making him drop his shield. He took a moment to weigh up his current situation, then held up a hand, hating having to do so but he knew he was done. He was dizzy and seeing birds, he was without a weapon, had that damn blue paint in his eyes, best that he yield now before he was harmed in any manner that might end up permanent.

Jacinthus looked over at his opponent, feeling more then a little pleased to see that the guy was yielding to him. This was how it should be... but then again this was how it should have been ages ago instead but this worked too. Now that it was done and he'd proved himself to this p***k in front of everyone they knew and a ton of people that they didn't know he felt a whole lot better.
Stalking forward he said, "It's done now! So you need to stop hounding me about 'stealing' Takoda from you! It was his damn choice, I am no thief. It's not my fault that you decided to play around for far too long in the friend zone hoping he would notice you." He hissed out, ignoring the crowd that was cheering over the archer's victory. He was going to get this off his chest once and for all, "Takoda is my mate! So you will stop looking at him in that wistful way of yours!" He told him.

Chalcedony looked at the archer as he approached him then gave a jolt when the man started to hiss angry words at him. He gave a snort, eyes narrowing, then spat back, "If I should leave you alone about that then you should damn when stop treating me as though I violated your sister to get back at you! She had a hand in all of that you know!" He saw no reason why he should hold back when it would appear as though Jacinthus wasn't going to be doing so.
"I never did anything like what you keep accusing me of. Not to mention that you won't be chasing me off no matter how many dirty looks you give me, she had my sons, Jacinthus, and I will be there for her and for them. You can go and get bent if you think otherwise." He spat out as he grabbed up his shield in his offhand, "As for starring at Takoda wistfully I am well aware that ship has sailed, I don't plan on carrying him off into the night, if anything I just want my damn friend back! You took him from me in more ways then one, that is why I call you a thief!"

"I don't want to know anything about the 'hand' she had in all that of that." Jacinthus said, nose wrinkling at even the mere thought of such things. If anything he was quickly shaking his head, trying to clear such ideas from his head. That was the very last thing that he wanted to think of. Ever. Blech... either way though the fact that this p***k would say that made him want to hit him a few more times, "I still think that you should have acted in a more responsible manner instead of knocking up my sister! I don't care about any of the stupid excuses either of you come up with!" He told him, then glanced over toward the stands a moment then back.
"As for not chasing you off I realize that I am not going to be getting rid of you any time soon. For whatever reason Keilana felt the need to bring you into the family despite the fact that we would have been fine without you." He told him, not wanting Chalcedony to think for even a moment that he needed him for anything, "Still... I suppose if nothing else a couple good things came out of the stupidity that you and Keilana both caught that night." He said, spotting the twins who were coming their way. The two of them were obvlivious how deep the dislike between Jacinthus and Chalcedony went, he'd prefer to keep it that way.
Turning to give Chal a look he said, "I... might be persuaded to allow you to have him back as a friend... though if you even think about eyeballing him I will feed you to the Witu, got it? He's mine." With that he started out of the arena, patting Aysun and Chandra on the head as he went. Time to go and claim his prize and celebrate with Takoda he thought to himself, his anger melting away as he saw the pretty Healer, quickening his steps, dropping his bow, and pounced on his happily.

"Weird... we actually agree on something." He muttered, finding that to be rather weird and he looked up for a moment to make sure that it wasn't going to suddenly start snowing here as it did in Zena. When it seemed as though that wasn't going to happen he turned his attention back to the the 'couple good things' as Jacinthus had called them. Giving a smile he took a couple hurried steps forward to scoop the twins up into his arms, giving them both a tight hug, before he he laughed over the way they were squealing as they too got covered in the blue paint.
Giving them a smile he said, "How about we go and find your Momma, huh? I am sure that it would be fun for us all to do a bit of shopping before we have to head for home." He told them, shifting Aysun up onto his shoulder so that he could scoop up his shield, heading out of the arena with his boys. He supposed that second wasn't so bad, there was still a reward, and he'd gotten a lot of experience during all of his battles. That was why he came here and maybe with a bit more training he'd be ready to take Jacinthus on again.
