Knox.
It's that simple.
She, (if you can really call her a she), just fascinates me. She isn't human, or anything from this earth at all. Very nebulous. A very very large being. As old as the universe itself.
To some she has been reffered to as "The Collector of Secrets". And that is partially true. She is interested in secrets, though not because of the secrets themselves, but because of the reasons why people choose to keep them. To her it just doesn't make sense.
Allow me to explain...
To understand why Knox is so confused you have to understand the reality of one thing in particular. That there is no such thing as a secret. There is no such thing as privacy either. Only the illusion of a secret, or of privacy, can exist.
You ask why?.....Because the whole universe is connected. Just because humans choose to be totally oblivious to most things, doesn't mean other things choose to follow in that stupidity, however blissful it can be at times.
Privacy, and therefore secrets, cannot exist because there are always things that are aware, watching, and sometimes interacting.
So why humans would choose to keep a secret, or more precisely, choose to have the illusion of a secret, baffle's her. It's really the stupidity of it that she can't understand. And I can relate to that. There are times that I can't understand how people can be so stupid.
So anyways, Knox is my favorite "supernatural" being. I guess because I've gotten to know her quite well in the short time that I have known her.
