"Fire Blast!" Zinnia commanded.
Shadow Mew flinched back and flew higher, trying to avoid the metapod. The bug was too fast! She drew both forepaws in front of her chest and summoned a huge ball of fire. She sent it spiraling down toward Sheoldred where it exploded, melting the ice on the floor around it.

The bite from the metapod was so powerful that Shadow was knocked to the ground. She quickly sprang back into the air, but her flight was much slower and a bit wobbly.
"Hang in there! Ice Beam!" Zinnia shouted.
Shadow did her best to aim and fire another chilling beam.

Shadow was zapped and knew that she could not fight any more; she had expended too much energy.
"Shadow, return!" Zinnia called, holding up the pokeball. She'd need to review her strategy. "Thanks for the battle! I'm sure your metapod will be a very strong butterfree soon!"
