It took Barth a very, very long time to sign his name in a lazy and delicate cursive.
"I'd like to second We Are Not Lead," he said, giving Zar a smile that was not as wobbly and harmless as usual.
"And suggest a Rose as our mascot. I agree with," he gestured to TG, "Claw and tooth and horn and fang is a bit...monstery, don't you think? Not that there's anything wrong with that. Sammy has a room on the upper floors, as a result of an err, social justicish related skirmish."Quote: HOUSE COLOUR VOTE Student Name: Bartholomew Mudd House Colour Vote: blue He put the pen down gratefully, looking surprised it hadn't bit him.

"What's up, squares." Something super shirtless in poured-on black-and-red stripe decal lace up pants walked in. His real leather boots, which featured lightning bolts because he was that hardcore, creaked ominously, and his thumbs were tucked into the crotchband of his pants. After posing suggestively in the door for a few minutes, the figure finally spoke. "Eyes up here, folks.""Hey, Z-guy. Long time no see," he drawled, taking a swing at Zar's shoulder before leaning against the wall. He was way too cool to stand next to the Lame-o-tron-5000. "So I heard you guys need like, a totally radical mascot." Johnny Danger licked a gold-tinged finger and touched his exposed hip with a tshhhhh sound. He stuck out his lower lip and waggled his eyebrows. "It's ok, now. I'm here for you, baby. Live dangerously." He clearly hadn't been listening to the actual discussion taking place before his arrival. TG just looked over to the sleepy looking demon. "So, why isn't her dorm fixed by now? If that robot is the president, he should be able to get her back to her own dorm. Not promote her to a position she isn't qualified to handle!" He said, and looked over in time to see a blue mass of disgusting walk in.
Johnny Danger's suggestion only made TG shove a finger into his mouth and openly gag. "Sit down, you giant booberry. I'd rather eat my own horns than let you represent us." Blue was such a disgusting color. It reminded him of ice and water.

Zar raised a brow slightly at Barth as he actually agreed to something he'd suggested, it had to be some sort of record really.
"Roses are fragile and inefficient." he said coolly in rebuttal. "We on the other hand are not. That is, most of us."
TG was kicking up a fuss about Sammy being present, and he felt rightly so. There was no call for an undead at a gathering of demons who wasn't simply carrying around trays of snacks. He did not commit to backing the smaller demon up in his outcry, but inwardly, he agreed.
It had been a long time since he had run into JD, and the other boil was still a welcome sight after the trials. He was a welcome sight for various reasons.
"Indeed, it has been an extensive portion of time since our last encounter." he rubbed his shoulder ruefully. "I should disagree with live dangerously however. That is what safety regulations are set in place to prevent Mr Danger."

"Roses are a symbol of elegance and pride," said Llyr vaguely, except he wasn't actually talking to anyone in particular and was absently picking a stray thread from the robes draped across his lap and looking as though he didn't quite belong there.

Sin came down for the meeting because she was ashamed of herself, since when had she become so socially withdrawn? True a lot had happened at Amityville to make her prefer the comfort and seclusion of her dorm room to the bustle of everyday activities, but she was not a creature of isolation. More importantly she was still an Err and Demonic activities were supposed to be her forte. When she'd come to Amityville she had been more than happy to throw a lavish party so she could meet ALL the demons, now she barely knew her fellow dorm mates and she found herself displeased by her lack of knowledge.
She dressed befittingly in an elegant gown that clung to her curves before sweeping out around her exposing one long violet leg and leaving the rest to the imagination. She wore her demon eye brooch pinned at the hip and clipped a section of her hair elegantly to one side with a black rose.
Her eyes fell on the familiar first, Lumikki. She walked over while listening and then frowning slightly at the sight of Sammy. Oh it wasn't that she had anything against Sammy personally, but an undead in the demon dorms gnawed at her. She was TRYING so hard to stop thinking with demon superiority in mind, but really this was uncalled for. She was even more insulted at the news from Barth that Sammy had been there for a while, how long had an undead been occupying the demon dorms and why hadn't she known? Your own fault Sin, mother would be...well never mind mother you should be ashamed enough for yourself.
Well she wasn't some wallflower, with TG already speaking up she walked over to him. She liked TG quite a bit, the demon was everything she had been taught to admire, poised, proud, and certainly not afraid to charge in.
"I agree with TG, it's unjust that an undead be here for proceedings that are obviously meant for Demons alone. Perhaps Samanth-Sammy would be so kind as to step out while the deliberations are in process?"

West hadn't signed up for this. Okay, fine, maybe he had, but he certainly didn't remember doing so now. The boil had been feeling off kilter for several days now anyway, ever since the weird locky things had shown up on his horn. That was a good enough excuse for being a proactive... helpful member of society, right?
He kept to his spot near the Aymet-bot during its little speech, trying to force the look of disdainful boredom from his face. It worked for the most part, especially once Cat Boil, Fox Kid, Tiny, Whitey, Whitey II, Sin, and frickin' Johnny Danger got to bitching. Finally, some entertainment. He might have added his opinion on the Sammy thing had he not thought her capable of defending herself, but all this mascot and motto crap wasn't worth thinking about. The demon dorms could be represented by a Christmas-spotted dikdik for all he cared.

"You gotta live on the wild side, dude," he responded, turning to Zar. "It's the image that-" And then JD whirled around, squinting at the tiny, puntable red thing. "I got a horn you can eat," he countered, and started unlacing his pants.

"I already inhabit the wild side rather firmly." It was the root of many of his problems, constraining inappropriate drives and redirecting useless emotional traffic was the occupation of a great deal of his time. "It needs someone to bulldoze it and build a maul on it."
His tail was the only part of him not stiff and awkward, curling languid and sinuous shapes in the air in defiance of his tightly crossed arms and drawn together hooves.
When JD threatened TG, for whatever reason, it got worse.

Seeing Big Blue start undoing his pants cause TG to jerk back in disgust. "Ugh, I doubt you do. With pants as tight as that, you probably need a magnifying glass."
With more support in having Sammy leave, he turned and smiled at Sin. Hot stuff on his side was always welcomed, and he gave her a wink.
"We should break down what a demon really means. Wealth. Power. Magic. Leaders." He named these off on each claw.

JD had managed to expose an impressive line of screaming yellow undies with little tart treats printed on them, but couldn't seem to get the pants to go any further. He was really going to have to bring butter next time.
He distantly wondered where Mister Monty was off to.
"Whatever, dweeb. You reek of Amityville Jellies if you catch my drift." He defiantly left the pants unlaced.
"Yeah. Wealth, power, magic -" he thrust his thumb at his own chest. "Me."

Popo said nothing, merely angrily glaring at everyone and everything. She shoved her excuse for a vote into the box and sat down on the biggest comfiest chair she could find. This would be her throne today. Quote: HOUSE COLOUR VOTE Student Name: Popo House Colour Vote: Red and Purple

" What are you exactly?" Jil had been watching the blue fellow and was thoroughly disgusted by him. Thin. Legs and arms. A distinct lack of eyestalks. The horns were the only thing he had going for him and he only had two. Or three. Apparently there was one in his pants as well. The urge to eyebeam them all was strong and growing. "I would prefer a motto expressing our superiority." She said with a small smile of shark like teeth and turned away from JD to speak to the group.

Sin's eyes widened as JD started to unlace his pants, she glared at him and wished she'd thought to bring the fan that went with this outfit, the art of the bat fan would probably be lost on him though, still there were so many ways to express her disgust without having to utter a word.
"Do attempt to contain yourself..." She rolled her eyes at JD, but she did admire his confidence.
For TG she had a smile and a slight nod of agreement. She listened to the others while filling in her color vote.Quote: HOUSE COLOUR VOTEStudent Name: Sin Err House Colour Vote: Black & Blood Red "I agree with...forgive me but I'm afraid we haven't been properly introduced. I am Sin Err." She looked at Jil, a motto expressing superiority would be very befitting the demon dorms.
She was trying hard to break away from her racist thinking, but it was so hard when it was obvious that demons were just...well look at the variety intellect, confidence, grace, and class that they were all oozing. With a few small exceptions...but not everyone had the fearful upbringing she had.
"I'll suggest the All Seeing Eye as our Mascot..." She unclipped her brooch to show them, "It sees all, knows all, controls all."
