Shehk scowled at the idea of a gnome filtching her stuff. "They didn't even take anything good!" she sighed, massaging her temple with some annoyance. "I mean, unless a gnome likes sleeping in a dog bed...." Which if so, she didn't want it back.

She nodded at the mention of Malodore's room, looking to the pup and wagging her tail a bit. "Well, I certainly wouldn't mind having some puppy-talk time with her."

Well, if it's vague about it it's fine. At this point (I mean, not in this RP, just current stuff...ahhh) Shehk is aware she's lost a chunk of time and is frustrated by it. neutral

"Gnomes have all manner of terrible habits," Malodore said, darkly. It didn't trust the little things one bit.

At Shehk's look, Luce barked again and wriggled all over, shoving herself as close to Shehk as she could get. Yes yes yes yes. Puppy time. Yes good. She was puppy! Oh yes she was.

As for Malodore, well... it wished it could be so easy around Shehk as Luce was. Still, at least she wasn't twitching any more. Poisoned. "And what do you want to do, here at the Academy? Is there a path of study you wish to pursue?" That seemed relatively safe. Merde, it would have to sit down and think about this at length. About how a cold fear settled in it, so afraid to harm that it dared not try to heal...

Shehk crouched down to start petting the excited puppy, tail wagging in a mere shadow of the excitement a little minipet could explode with.

"Discover myself, I guess, is the goal right now." she scratched underneath one ear, the stapling in it seeming to bother her. "Kind of feels like there is a giant hole I need to fill in before I do too much moving forward but.." she grinned, "I can handle that much, at least. Gotta just ignore some things and let them rest sometimes."

"Ah, si - I can understand that," Malodore said, solemnly. "Things that don't quite fit, yes? A similar urge drove me here, though I did not recognize it at first. It was only when I was far down that path that I realized the direction I had been taking all along."

Shehk nodded. "Things that don't fit, things that fit but I don't understand why. But maybe I want more of the ride than I am wanting the end of it." she shrugged at the idea of it. "If I can find just one thing I like from here that's a start."
