Cora frown seem to grow at the mention of her lease. With a rather forced laugh, she turns in his arms so she can look up at him "Before my birthday actually, mom can't help me anymore now that the divorce was final yesterday. She actually moving back home to my grandparents until she can get off her feet again." she stopped as she hides her face against his neck fro a moment.
"So unless I can get a roommate soon, or get a room on campus. I'm on the streets." running her finger over his chest in a slow manner, she just keeps her face hidden.
She hated when he saw her weak, just because she hated feeling weak.

Mathias frowned and kissed the top of her head. Pulling her closer, he gave her a firm squeeze and nuzzled her hair. "Oh Cora-bug, I'm so sorry. Do you mind if I let my parents know? They'll definitely want to help you and your mom out as much as they can."His hands rubbed up and down her back then into her hair, brushing against her scalp as he held her. "But, I think I can help you with your living arrangements, and you'll be getting to see me much more often." He smiled softly. "I'm in need of a roommate myself. Mom isn't going to be able to help me out as much here soon and she told me that if I couldn't find a roommate to help spread out the rent a bit I'd probably have to get a job, and I can't afford that time wise right now. I'm spread thin as it is - as you've seen. So why don't you just move in with me?"

Cora give him a small nod in reply to telling his parents "Sure, but you know my mum. She won't take the help, even more now that my father has shamed her." she tries to keep the anger out of her voice, but it was pretty much evident in the way she spoke about him. She honestly was furious with her adopted father, to the point she been refusing to see him.
Pulling back, she arches a brow before she sits up slowly "Wait, you want me to move in with you? You place is alot smaller then my own, there is now way we could both live in it. Beside, I really like living close to campus. When I don't feel like driving I can walk, and still make it to class on time." pushing her long bangs from her face, she glance away from him.
It wasn't that she was looking for an excuse not to live with Mathias, she just wasn't sure what she wanted at this point given everything that happen in the last twenty four hours.

Mathias sat up with her and reached out, turning her face back toward him so he could give her a gentle kiss. "Then let me move in with you? I mean, your place is bigger, and like you said it's closer to campus. It will help with your rent and you're not trying to find a new roommate or living with a stranger you know? Plus you get to see me every night."He smiled softly and ran a finger across her lip. "I mean, you don't have to answer now. Just think about it." He pulled her into his lap, and wrapped his arms around her, nuzzling her neck.

Cora couldn't speak, not with the way he teased at her neck. Closing her eyes for a brief moment, she squirms in his lap as she attempts to get comfortable. Lifting her hand, she brush it over his bottom lip before she nods slowly "Okay, we'll do this. Only because your right, I don't want to live with a stranger. Not to mention, getting to see you and lay in your arms is very tempting. I would be almost crazy to pass you up on your offer" leaning in, she press a quick kiss to his lips before she pulls back.
"So if you want to play house, then we can play house." she gives a weak chuckle, resting her forehead against his. The smile once again returning to her face.

Mathias chuckled and kissed her back, his arms keeping her close to his body as they sat there. "Awesome, I'll let mom know in the morning." He murmured. He once again began to kiss her, pulling her even closer as his lips moved to her neck. This seemed to warrant a celebration. So he decided to show her how happy he was of her decision.
