Sann did as her sisters did, taking the spirits and making a run for it, between them they would be able to make sure they all made it to the paths.

Val watched them go, then turned her eyes back to the crowd, there was divinty at work somewhere out there. She looked to her nieces and nephew and smiled.
"Isidore I think it is time to end things."

Isidore opened his eyes and looked from Caelia to Kyrie, he had done all that??? Well he was clearly more powerful than he had first thought, he smiled proudly and took a step forward.
"Thank you all for coming." He said loud so everyone could hear. The chilled out crowd would mutter a little then begin to talk among themselves before they would drift off.

Cosine watched with amusement as her son dismissed the crowd and turned to Echo.
"I think that's what they call team work." She said. "And now for the fun part." When there were only a few mortals left she would stand and take on her true form so that her children would know she was there.

Kyrie watched the Valkyries do their work and bounced with excitement to echo her sister's cries of happiness. They had done it! Or, well, Isi had done it! But they had all worked together to help their father. When their aunt declared it was done, she beamed with pride as Isi declared the service over. She watched the mortals drift out and she took her brother's hands in hers to bounce around in front of him.

"You did it Isi! We knew you could!" she exclaimed, though her excitement came to a screeching halt when she saw one of the remaining bodies left in the church. Standing amongst the old pews was none other than their mother.

"Don't be mad Mama!" she called out and put herself in the line of fire. Her brother had just done and awesome thing, she wasn't going to let him take the brunt of what was surely about to come.

And it became evident that their mother was not the only one here when Echo stepped forward and revealed herself as well, though the black dress would definitively look strange on her now. Any punishment was up to Cosine, so she would say nothing at all. Isidore would probably think she had given them away, but in truth she hadn't - she had planned to come alone and bring them to their mother and make them admit what they done afterward. Cosine's presence here had been as much of a surprise to her than her own presence had been for Numbers.

"You did it, Isi ! That was amazing !" There was no shortage of praise from her either. She had no idea how he had done it, but he had done it and that was the important part !

Through... Was that.... ? "....Uh oh."

Uh oh was right.

Cosine took a breath and moved forward, her displeasure clear on her face. They were not getting out of this with puppy eyes and smiles.
"I'm not mad, I am upset." She said to them as she approached. "That, what just happened was nothing to do with your brother, you are children. That was your Aunt Echo and I and you are very lucky we were here, those spirits could have hurt you, all of you." She glanced to host and goddess. "And you should know better." She said. "And the Valkyries." She was certainly not amused with any of them either allowing such a sharade to go on.

Isidore's pride was short lived as his mother appeared and started to tell them off. He glanced to his aunt and then looked to his feet.
"You told her." He said softly feeling a tiny bit betrayed.

Kyrie watched her mother come towards them and stood her ground. Her mention of their Aunt Echo caused her eyes to flit past her to the other goddess. She didn't care what her mom said, she was still certain that Isi had done some good, even if it wasn't as much as they had first believed.
"We just wanted to help Daddy. We wanted to show him that we could," she informed her mother with a mask of fearlessness to cover up what she really felt on the inside.

"No, I did not, Isidore." He might not believe her, but it was the truth. "I came here alone. I was surprised to see her here as well." However Cosine had learned of this, it was not though her. "I came because I knew this could happen. I was worried something might happen to you."

She could not, in good conscience, not do anything once she knew what they had planned. "But you know why I was worried now ? You saw what could have happened."

This was bad. This was bad bad bad, bad !

"Ky." She said softly, then shook her head. "It was my idea, mom. I told them." If anyone was to be punished for this, it should be her and not her siblings. She had roped them into the idea. "We wanted to help. I had... I had no idea spirits could be this scary."

At Isidore's words and Echo's Cosine turned to look at her friend too.
"You knew?" She felt a little more angry now, how could so many have known and yet not her, they were sneaky little creatures her children and she felt more than a little useless, she really should have noticed something was up.
"If you wanted to help your father you should have come to me, not meddled with things you do not understand. If I hadn't been told ..." She took a calming breath in, held it a moment and breathed out to centre herself. "Your father is going to be very angry, very."

Val felt a little bad for not telling the goddess, but really she would come to understand it was for the best outcome. She glanced curiously at the beautiful goddess they called Aunt Echo. So this was Kios' mother, it was easy to see the similarities, though she had to wonder how her brother had managed to entrance such a goddess.
"We had our reasons for helping them, if we had not they would have tried in complete secret."

Isidore didn't like it when his mother was angry and felt a little better when it became clear that Echo had not told on him.
"We're sorry mama we didn't want to bother you, because you're so busy and dad is so busy, we just wanted to help."

Kyrie looked to her sister and saw the shake of her head. She didn't want to back down and she certainly didn't want her sister to take all of their mother's anger on herself. They had all conspired to do this together. Breathing in deeply to calm herself, she nodded in agreement with Isi.
"We may be little, but we can help," she said more gently and with a little remorse. "Maybe not like this, but we couldn't think of any other way."

"It seemed better to let them realize what they got into. I planned to bring them to you afterward." Perhaps she should have gone and told her sister. She probably should have. But warnings had never worked with any of her own, save maybe Akakios, and even then that was a toss up.

"We're really, really sorry." What else could she say honestly ? It wasn't like she could pretend they hadn't thought this up. She sighed. This was probably all her fault. Any attempts she did to try and help anyone always seemed to backfire horribly.

Cosine felt her anger subside a little. They were all okay and that was the main thing.
"Well, what is done is done I suppose." She placed her hands on her hips. "But you are ... what do the mortals say ... grounded until your father returns. And you will be watched and if you dare defy me by sneaking out you will be sorry, very sorry." Ankou could deal with them when he got home, this was his realm they were messing with after all. "I know you had good intentions but they are not always the best guides." She frowned a little. "Now, let's all go home."

Kyrie relaxed a hair when the worst they got was grounding. Though the prospect of facing their father about this was a little daunting.
"Yes ma'am," she said softly with a small nod. If that was truly the worst they got, then she certainly wouldn't be running off looking for any more trouble any time soon. Reaching out, she took her sister's hand again and slowly started to walk towards their mother.

Caelia seemed to think much the same - being grounded wasn't so bad. It could have been much, much worse than that. She understood now that they could have gotten hurt pretty badly.

"Okay." She knew better than to argue.
