Something suddenly stopped Jubilee in her tracks. She looked down a saw a nice, shiny red rock. She remembered last time she was in the dungeon when Naka found a red rock-- the charmander seemed to fall over a lot after. She tried to resist the urge to pick up the rock but...
Of course she did take it. The rock was too pretty to leave behind.
"Oh yes, I thought I would see what this cave had to offer, since it seemed to be the talk of the town," Replied bob with a smile, "my name is Bob, and what's your name?"
He looked over and saw a togepi picking up a rock not too far from them. "My! It's very busy here today! I'm quite happy."

And then another geodude popped out from the rock face, trying to land on top of the surprised fish pokemon.

Like the first one, this Geodude did not manage to get a hand up on him, and Bob was able to send him rolling away rather easily.
"Well, this is a cave, Rock-types are likely." Vesper commented. So were bat pokemon, which made him feel at home, though he had to wonder how the other bats dealt with the heat. "The pokemon around here do seem to be rather aggressive, though. Perhaps it would be safer for us to travel together, if you are agreeable."

Vesper was watching and listening for any other native pokemon, but for the moment all he saw was a interestingly-hued red rock. He decided to scoop up the curiosity and take a better look at it some other time.
Jubilee was still waddling over to the two pokemon up ahead. Curse these short legs! Maybe if she would just roll-- wait, that's a horrible idea.

Jubilee was so focused on catching up with the crobat and the alomola, she ignored everything in her path. When she finally caught up, she waved and said: "Hello!"
"I certainly don't mind traveling through this dungeon together. It would probably be better for the both of us." He nodded as best a floating fish with no neck COULD nod and turned to continue on their new adventure. He rather like having company, so he saw nothing wrong with their new plan.
He smiled as they were joined by the Togepi. "Ah, hello little one! Are you adventuring as well?" He asked.

Oh, another red rock. He would be happy to keep that with him, just in case he needed it for... something.

Vesper nodded (more or less) as well. That was settled then, safety in numbers and all that. The Togepi seemed to be sticking with them as well, which was fine with him. "My name is Vesper," he said to them both.
(Ack! I don't think I got the tag for this somehow. >_>: )

As they traveled, a Slugma oozed out of a passage up ahead and stood in their path. When it saw the group of pokemon, it tried to stretch itself up to look bigger.
Vesper noted that the Slugma wasn't actually attacking them just yet, so he waited it out while introductions were made. After a moment the Slugma decided it wasn't worth it to bother them and just slunk off.
Jubilee heard some grumbling and crumbling and she looked off to the side to see a geodude revealing itself to the explorers. "Hello there geodude!" she greeted, "How are you?"
