Svartalfheim was focusing! It was just the cop in her doing most of it. Her face seemed suspicious at first but when Zia continued to say how old she was Svartalfheim pretty much threw her hands into the air, giving up on that train of thought. She wasn't drunk enough to go down that road and the cards were still on the table waiting for her.

"Sure, let's go," she said with a light laugh. She didn't actually believe they'd be going to space because at this point she pretty much thought Zia was nuts.

"Okay well first what's your knight name?" Zia jumped right into the important questions here. Also she needed that bit for the database.

"Sorry, there wasn't time for introductions between you trying to steal by databank entry and then accusing me of molesting a perfectly sentient eighteen year old boy," She huffed. And then debated a different framing device to share this story with Pascal later. Hey babe, did you know I'm molesting you according to some pearl clutcher who thinks you're a precious baby?.

"And repeat after me, but like you mean it: I pledge my life and loyalty to Saturn, and to--... your knight name," She cleared her throat with a pause before continuing,"I humbly request your aid, so that in return I may give you mine!"

"Svartalfheim," she said flatly, suspicious of the motives here.

"I can't steal what is already mine," she said as she waved off her hand, listening to what Zia wanted her to repeat. It didn't seem to make any sense but at the same time Svartalfheim thought there was something familiar about them. Had she heard this before? She felt like those words had been spoken to her time and time again but she could place it. It lingered like a distant memory and although she was not sure what it was from it was familiar, very familiar.

She took a deep breath, her vibrant violet eyes looking forward, and then repeated what Zia said like the echo in her head that spoke those very words to her time and time again, "I pledge my life and loyalty to Saturn, and to Svartalfheim. I humbly request your aid, so that in return I may give you mine."

What happened after that was the opposite of what she had been expecting. The two of them suddenly went from their location on Earth to a new location. Did it just get darker? Where did the street lamps go? Purple eyes scanned the area with difficulty, backing up and bumping into something hard in the process. There wasn't a wall here before! The page tried to remain calm. She was an officer of the law, she had to expect the unexpected but how far into unexpected could she really expect to expect?!

"This doesn't look like space," she said skeptically, wandering over to the windows where the only bit of light shined through from.

What waited for her out there was the courtyard where the prison gallows were kept.

The name made Zia stop for a second, considering it was her brother's name with an extra syllable. Weird. And that beared further investigation.

But no, it wasn't time to think about this. She had grabbed on to Svartalfheim's arm as she said her pledge and suddenly they were elsewhere. Zia had an unrestrained look of glee on her face and her grip around the page tightened in a weird side hug as she looked around wide eyed.

And then suddenly dropped to an expression of deadpan annoyance as she slowly turned her head to look at the shorter woman.

"It's Saturn. It's space, trust me."

She let go and threw up her arms. "This is your wonder! Your place in the universe! Your eternal sanctuary!" She ran to the window and blinked. "Which is full of gallows and creepy things and darkness."

If this was Saturn, how were they breathing? Purple eyes narrowed suspiciously as she peeked her head out of the window. There was no glass there, long destroyed. She wasn't an astronomer so judging if they were on Earth via the stars wasn't going to work and maybe they were just in another location on Earth? If they could teleport around Earth though, why not to Saturn? Maybe this was all some magical illusion. She focused for a minute to see if maybe she could break it before looking at Zia.

"I would expect space to be dark," she said to Zia, the only hint she gave to suggest she might believe that wild theory. However, if this was space... how were they breathing? Magic? Everything seemed to be magic. Whatever happened to the laws of the universe? Did they change or were they always this way? How wrong were the people of Earth? These were such important things but their knowledge was inaccurate. What else were they inaccurate with? She certainly wasn't a terrorist! Her life was dedicated to protecting Destiny City.

"It looks like a prison," she said, pointing out the window to the other side. There were bars on every window.

"Yeah well, I'm sure most people don't expect these places to support life, either," Zia said with a shrug. "But obviously they did."

She milled around, poking everything she could get her hands on.

"Weird, do you have some connection to prisons?" Even with Alfheim in the mix, she still had reincarnation on the brain for most knights. It was what she was introduced to first, it was default.

"Maybe you've just always had an affinity for bondage and now you know why," She cackled jokingly, hoping she wasn't about to be thrown into one of those cells .

"So. Saturn. Your sanctuary. You like it?"

Did she have a connection to prisons? That was almost ironic.

"What do you mean?" She asked as she glanced at Zia's attempt to touch everything like a child. While Zia was poking around at things, Svartalfheim was looking around the room. There wasn't too much in terms of furniture around the place, objects long lost to time. Many objects did survive time and one of them was a silver ring on the floor by Svartalfheim's feet. She didn't notice it, not until she stepped on it.

It was a ring? She carefully bent over to pick it up, examining it thoroughly. It certainly stood up to the wear of time.

"I can think of things I'd prefer."

Zia just gave a little shrug and turned around to see Svartalfheim picking up something.

"Oh, what's that?" She asked, bouncing over to inspect it with her. She didn't touch, but her head bobbed from a few different angles before she squealed.

"Cool! Another one!" And held out the hand that she was wearing the stone ring from Alfheim on.

"I found a similar one at another wonder."

Svartalfheim's eyes darted from the ring in her hand to the one on Zia's hand. There was definitely no denying that the two rings were similiar in appearance and she couldn't help but wonder where Zia had gotten it. It was from another wonder? She couldn't deny the mild curiosity she had in regard to it.

"Another wonder?" She asked Zia with a mild sense of curiosity.

"Alfheim," a rather bitter voice chimed in from behind her, sitting rather contently at the desk there at the back of the room. Svartalfheim turned around to meet the voice but she didn't have a chance to even question it before he continued. "Woe! This cannot possibly be correct," he murmured as he seemed to be calculating something, his eyes staring a hole into Zia.

"How did you get there?!" Svartalfheim asked, her body defensively turning toward the desk where only she could see her ancestor.

"Hmmm? To answer your question I suppose I never left. Your voice is awfully high pitched for a man though, or are you simply still adolescent? This is awfully unfair. I get stuck babysitting the next generation while Alatriel gets to reincarnate? That's just sick, I'm going to have to have a word with the universe about this unjust decision." He said dramatically while Svartalfheim's jaw seemed to drop, her palm digging into the ring as she tightly formed a fist.

"I'll have you know I am not an adolescent boy," she said as she tried to keep her composure but when the high school teasing began to resurface with one comment it was hard for her voice not to crack a little.

"I... walked... here?" Zia said in stilted confusion as she looked up and realized Svartalfheim was talking at a blank space on the desk.

Well that was weird and unsettling.

"Are you having a past life memory? That happens sometimes, it'll be okay!" She tried to be encouraging. The fact she started arguing and voice cracking about her gender didn't seem any more comforting, though.

Oh god, she was stuck in space with a delusional crazy lady.

"Are... you okay?" She asked, poking the side of her head gently. "Do we need to leave? Or... I could just go over there and... look at things."
