"Ya and didn't you know that college is also the time for experimentation?" He retorted, annoyed that she would speak with him in such a condescending manner. Annoyed enough that he sat up, and turned towards her again. "And yes, I have." His smile at that point could have meant anything, or nothing, especially after his first comment. "And I think you might find, if you opened up your eyes and took a look around little girl, that ninety percent of the time, it is about sex." The ten percent not was actually being quite generous, in his eyes. "Not even one little kiss, Stormy? Not even a thought towards giving it a try? Not even a bit of----" He cut himself off at this new revelation. A boyfriend, hrm? "Oh really? Tell me, are you having sex with him, miss innocent? I bet he'd be into his girlfriend being a lesbian. He ever ask you to do anything like that?"

She was visibly starting to bristle again now that he wasn't letting it go. Maybe he had promised to start fresh with everyone else, but it looked as though her treatment got to stay the same. "Why are you so interested about my life all of a sudden?" she prompted, something inside her twisting at that sardonic smile--at how both of the boys had liked to smile like, like she was just a child. "Why do you care what happens or doesn't happen?"
Thane's repeated insistence to cut open his shield wasn't helping.
"Everything might be about sex for you, Finn, but it isn't for me." She should have been getting up and leaving, not entertaining his insane theories. But for some reason Stormy felt rooted to the mat, needing desperately to defend herself and set the record straight. "I haven't done anything of either with anyone, and I'm not planning to for a long while," she stared firmly, while on the inside she squirmed. "Maybe that's a difficult concept for you, so I'll let that sit in your head for a minute."

Finn could only scoff his amusement at her clear frustration with him. So quick and easy to get all riled up, though he found with some surprise that he actually felt tense as well, as though ready to go into an all out fight. That wasn't generally his style, and maybe it had more to do with the way Trynt kept snarling in his head, goading him into getting angry, then anything else. Or maybe Stormy just brought out the absolute best in him for whatever reason. He let himself calm down, and kept on smiling because he knew that the way he smiled, even when he knew he was pissing people off, even when they tried to give it all right back to him, was perhaps the most irritating thing he could do to rile them up even more. Ignoring her protests, and her questions, he continued on. "Aw don't even give me that, sweetheart. Not a single person in this world isn't even a tiny bit curious about what it might be like. Everyone is just a little bit gay. I know I am." He let that sit for a minute, then began to laugh. "That was a joke, Stormy. Come on! Lighten up for ******** sake."

All of that was just one big joke, huh? She remained defensive in posture, fingering the claw ring on her right hand. At least on the Internet she could ignore him with anonymous ease; here, regardless of the time spent at Deus, regardless of whoever told her she was strong and brave, she was still small and childish. Still afraid of the wolves. Thane was getting annoyed with her inaction, but he could pop his bones all he wanted in her head--Stormy wasn't going to prolong this meeting if she could help it.
"Mm. Anything else you wanted to talk about?" she asked Finn in a politely clipped tone, deciding that the less she said, the better off she'd be.

Finn couldn't help but roll his eyes and shake his head. What ever had made him think that sitting down to chat with this girl would be a good idea? Maybe he was hoping that she would be different now, that she would be proof that he could change as well. In some ways, she had, he supposed. She seemed more confident, or at least, she had seemed so when she'd been there upon his awakening. Now, however? It was like if he squinted at her long enough, she would crumble. She was speaking to him in clipped tones, but he wondered how long or how hard he would have to push before she was asking him, no, begging him to leave. It was tempting to test those boundaries, to see just how far he'd need to go to turn her into just plain Lina once again. But he, amazingly, left it alone. "Not really. Not if you're going to keep all of your dirty, naughty little secrets to yourself." He grinned at her in his deadpan fashion, then began pushing himself to his feet. "Just...keep our past to yourself, if you can manage to, okay? I'm not going to put all this work into trying to change for nothing." There was a hint of a threat to his words, an 'or else' that remained unspoken. Yes, he was aware that she was a higher rank then him, that she had spent more time with her weapon, was likely stronger. These things didn't last forever, though, and he was willing to find away to climb the ranks to even the ground between them as soon as possible. Like hell he was going to sit back and let a bunch of women have the upper hand for the entirety of his time on this island. He smirked at her then. "And if you ever find yourself lonely on those cold dark nights, and your little one eyed beauty just ain't doing it for you anymore, you know I'm just across the hallway." He didn't mean it, not a word. It was just another one of those pushes, those little prods that he couldn't quite help, and likely never would be able to around her. If she had laughed off his earlier inquiries, if she had reacted in a way that had let him know it hadn't bothered her, he probably would have let it go, possibly for good. Once he knew a sore spot, though, it was too tempting not to press against it and watch the reaction. "So long, dumpling."

A lady was nothing without a few secrets--even if they weren't exactly what Finn wanted.
His request was simple enough at least: Stormy had no intention of dredging up the past if she could help it. It had let her move on thus far. Finn's reappaearance had set her back a little, and the memories before Deus had been forced upon her in a way that was distressing--but she had faced far worse than one man and the idea of another. She was different: not Lina, but Stormy.
Such was the eponymous look in her eyes when she met Finn's dead smile, her back straight and the softer edges steeled. "I hope you find a better life here, Finn," she answered earnestly, because that was the only nice thing she could think of when on the inside she wanted to do and say a lot more; Thane's scraping made it even more difficult to show off.
One day--One day, Stormy thought, she would find a way to either correct that smile or wipe it from his face completely.
