"Wow, what luck." Meph exclaimed as he lifted up the Vial of Water. "I don't have to worry about burning up now!"
"I suppose not everyone wants to play nice with us here!" She huffed, shaking herself off the best she could with her slug body. She wasn't too hurt, and she felt confident that she could keep on moving as needed.
Meph nodded. "They need to learn to play nice. Only I'm allowed to be scary." He said, waving his arms as he let out an 'oooooooo'. He gave a sage like nod before floating ahead.

"Hey... is that a rock?! It's really bumpy." Meph said, floating to a rock, which was really a Geodude, and rubbed the top of it.

"Ack, not a rock. Not a rock!" He exclaimed as he flailed a bit. So caught off guard, he didn't manage to phase out before receiving a firm punch and flying back. "Ooooooooww."
"Are you okay?!" She yelped, watching the poor ghost pokemon. Who would have thought that they would end up meeting a pokemon like that! Of course she knew geodude, she'd been friends with one back when she's been young, but she hadn't thought about them hiding out and pretending to be rocks!
At least it looked like he hadn't been too hurt by the surprise attack.

She couldn't fight back, feeling too weird about the whole situation, and let the slugma push her around a bit before finally leaving.
"Oh dear!" she whimpered, "these pokemon are rough!"
Meph was just getting back to floating when she got attacked by another Slugma. "There's also so many Pokemon in here. Oooo. It's both good and bad... I think."

Hearing some shrieking, he glanced up to see a Zubat coming down from its perch. "Another Pokemon!"

Seeing it coming this time, the Duskull was ready as he phased out and the bat crashed into a wall before dizzily fluttering away.
"You showed that zubat!" laughed Squishy, moving into the next room. She was really hoping for less fighting and more treasure. She didn't need trinkets, really, but she did think that a break would be nice.
