Gregory Shultz "You're choices of trying to die is pretty terrible," Greg replied and it was all he said before turning and leaving to tell a nurse to get an x-ray of the males chest quickly so that they could take him to surgery and stitch up his arm and then open him up to fix his little broken rib problem. Within twenty minutes Silas was on the operating table with a nurse putting him to sleep while he was looking at the x-ray to see how bad the rib was though luckily it was an easy fix. He knew enough and knew out to mend bones and there were no other doctors around to help.
He stood over the male with his mask on and spoke as he began to fall asleep, "Sweet dreams." And once the male was out cold he went on with the short surgery. Half an hour later Silas was in a recovery room, his arm stitched up as well as stitches where his broken rib was located though there was bandages wrapped around it.
Greg had moved on to other patients but returned to Silas's room to see if he was awake yet.

Trying to die?! He hadn't even meant to run into those guys! they were the ones who chose to jump him but he didn't exactly have time to snap back the man as he walked away. Before he knew it he was in the operating room, being knocked out by some lovely sleeping gas which in turn helped to ease the pain. When he woke up he found some painkillers and a glass of water next to his bed which he quickly took. His head was pounding, his side hurt even more now, and his arm was wrapped up as well as his ribs. When Dr.Shultz walked in, his emerald orbs darted to the man. " I wasn't looking the die. I just ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time." He stated bluntly, knowing that the other would understand exactly what he was saying.
His venomous gaze darted away from the man and to the window...he was on a higher floor this time, which made him smirk. Most likely so he couldn't jump out of the window again. "So when can I leave? The sooner the better. I need to find myself some new accommodations. And I sure as hell am not staying.... here for much longer" He grumbled, glaring out the window as he completely avoided looking at the doctor. He hated hospitals.... He'd spent too much time here watching his grandmother waste away. 'I need out. This place is awful' he commented silently to himself, wanting to get the smell of sterilizer out of his nose and the sound of beeping heart monitors out of his head.

Gregory Shultz Greg didn't reply to Silas as he grabbed the folder that was tucked in on the board of the foot of the bed. He looked through it for a moment before walking over to the male and took a look at the stitches to make sure they were done right and after doing so he wrote a couple things down. Finally he took a seat on the small stood there and looked at the young man for a moment as if trying to think of what to say.
At long last he spoke, "You would have been able to leave in a couple hours but you might end up here a bit longer. The x-ray showed an irregular shape near your lung and so you have a mass there. We're not certain if it's a tumor, we'll only know if we do the proper tests. It may be nothing at all considering that it's very small and it could just be scar tissue that you might has gotten if you have broken your rib in the past which I suspect you have since the rib below the one I mended today looked as if it had broken once. A nurse will take you to take the proper tests and I'll come back to tell you the results." He then stood up and left to get inform the nurse what to do.

Rather than being compliant and letting the nurse try to take him out of the room to take a few more X-rays and such he pulled away and glared. "It's scar tissue. It's in my records already, take a look. So your not cutting me open again." He stated very bluntly, ignoring the look of shock on the nurses face. She tried to get him to comply but he wouldn't budge and she couldn't exactly force him so she scurried off to get the doctor and tell him about...Silas's current behavior. All the while Silas simply walked out of the room and made his way through the halls, ignoring the sound of another nurse calling him to come back- he wasn't discharged or something. "I'm checking out." He called back simply, making his way down a few flights of stairs, taking his time to do so.
If the doctor wanted to stop him then he was likely to be in the lobby already, not that Silas cared. He wouldn't stay in this place any longer, he was getting extremely agitated and the longer he stayed here the worse his mood would get. Once in the lobby another nurse stepped in front of him and he sighed heavily, lifting his good hand to run it through his hair, pushing dark locks back. Despite the fact that he was all beat up right now, Silas was still obviously good looking and when he pushed his slightly shaggy hair back you could really get a better look at his face. He still had a slightly boyish appearance but it was handsome, with emerald green eyes and fair skin. "I really don't want to argue. But I need to get the hell out of here right now before I hurt someone." he stated, and judging form his tone of voice he wasn't kidding. He was getting severely irritated and he wasn't really sure if he'd be able to contain his temper for much longer.

Gregory Shultz The nurses seemed a bit confused but the doctors put them back on track. When the nurse stopped Silas, Greg appeared in the lobby in time to hear them. His coat was off as he walked past them. "Just let him go Ms Lewis," He didn't bother looking at him and simply looked at the nurse was was a bit reluctant but nodded nonetheless.
"Is your shift over Dr?" She asked and he replied with a nod.
"Yes, I'm off to get dinner," The two said 'goodbye' to one another and Greg simply left not paying much mind the male either. If he wanted to be a stubborn idiot then so be it, he wasn't Greg's sibling, cousin, lover etc. Silas was no one and nothing to him.
The sun was actually beginning to set so Greg figured he'd go to a club/restaurant he heard about. Someone had said that their food was delicious so he'd give it a try and so that's where he went off to.

Silas in turn ignored the doctor and simply walked out himself, making sure to go the opposite way of the man. A few hours later he found himself sitting on the sidewalk, his back against a wall and his head down. Well, finding a place for the night hadn't worked very well but he didn't exactly mind sleeping outside. It was already dark and he'd had some junk food for dinner... he didn't want to sit down in some restaurant and eat. There was a slight chill to the night air but honestly he didn't care...well he did, but he ignored it. At least the cold was making his arm feel slightly numb, plus it got his mind off the pain.
Lifting his injured arm he observed it in the dim lighting and whistled softly "That's gonna scar" he murmured to himself, dropping his arm back down to his side with a wide yawn. He was exhausted honestly.... being awake simply wasn't working all that well for him. His shoulders sagged forward as he glared down with bright emerald eyes. He was getting sick of it all- his abusive family, lack of companionship, drug abuse...everything. The only reasons he did the drugs was because they helped to numb everything- helped him stop thinking for a while and just let him have fun.
He chuckled under his breath, a soft wheeze of a laugh- he was just a total wreck. He really knew how to ruin his life, though his parents had surely helped in doing so. Keeping him in a private school where no one would approach the 'delinquent' boy- abusing him both physically and mentally. It didn't help that the only people who bothered to talk to him were people who simply wanted to use him.

Gregory Shultz "Oh come on please?" The woman asked while wrapping her arms around his arm as she pulled him along. After he had eaten he had run into his 'girlfriend' and she wanted to walk with him despite the fact that his car was at the club/restaurant. Sighing he nodded and went along with her only to tell her again that they were no longer a couple and she had to move on. He walked down the sidewalk with his hands in his pockets while she clung to him.
A block later, they happen to walk pass where Silas was as he sat out of whatever building/place he was. She stopped for a moment and made Greg stop as well. "Look, do you think he's okay?"
Greg glanced over and shrugged," Who know's probably some bum...but now that we've stopped I'd like to talk to you..." before he could finish she let go fo his arm and walked over to Silas as she gently tapped his shoulder.
"Excuse me, are you alright young man?" She said as she looked down at him worried, hoping he was alive.

Now Silas might have said something about the whole bum comment, except he recognized that voice and simply decided to stay silent, hoping that the two of them would be on their merry way. Of course, with his luck, that was not the way things turned out as the woman stopped before him and asked if he was okay. Sighing inwardly he lifted his gaze to meet the woman's, who was a bit surprised by the striking color of his eyes. They were nice during the day, but for some reason his eyes always appeared prettier at night. "Peachy." He stated, his gaze darting to the doctor for a moment, before he averted his gaze "Absolutely peachy. Thanks for asking." He murmured, his tone not as harsh as it had been earlier. Of course this guy would show up at his one moment of weakness during the whole day! He was mentally and physically exhausted and he hoped the two of them would just leave.
clearing his throat he looked up at the woman once more "Now if you would please leave me be. I was just about to go to sleep" He muttered, dropping his head once more so that his face was hidden by raven hued bangs.
The woman had to be his date tonight, judging from the way she clung to his arm. However, she seemed to be the type who was too nice and....too clingy. 'please leave' he stressed silently in his mind, letting emerald gems close as he attempted to appear like he was drifting off, though his mind was still hard at work ridiculing his own life.

"See he wasn't to be left alone, come on," Greg replied while motioning her to get away from Silas with a tilt of his head. Unfortunately she was one of those women that butt in everything and so he wasn't surprised to see that she didn't move.
"Sleep? You shouldn't sleep out here you're hurt and you'll get a cold, it's chilly. You can come with us and sleep on our couch and if you're homeless we can help sort out something so you have a place to stay," She smiled warmly at him, hoping he would take the offer.
Greg grew even more annoyed considering that there was no 'our couch' there was no 'our' since he had broken up with her. She was so damn clingy and crazy! Rubbing his head he waited for Silas to be his stubborn self and tell her to get away and leave him alone.

Silas frowned, yep she was definitely someone who was too nice. People don't just let strangers stay on their couch for the night! Letting out a heavy exhale he shook his head and pushed himself up, turning to walk away. Though unexpectedly he was hit by a very sudden wave of dizziness and stumbled, falling as he did so though he managed to catch himself on his hands and knees, emerald orbs wide. At some point he'd gotten a fever, probably due to all the excess stress and such. "Well s**t" He muttered under his breath, his head now spinning as he tried to recover his bearings. He could hear the womans gasp as he stumbled and the insistent nattering as she told 'Greg' to do something. He quickly assumed that was the name of the pink haired man and frowned. If this guy helped him anymore he'd feel like he'd owe him a debt or something and he'd rather avoid that. Reaching out to the side he placed a hand on the wall and held in a hiss of pain as he got too his feet, only now noticing the jarring pain in his arm as blood seeped out between his stitches. "lovely" He groaned to himself, pain sweeping across his features for the first time. He didn't have the energy to hide all his emotions like he usual did but he simply used his other arm to hold him up against the wall.
"As you can see, i'm just fine so- I'll be on my way." He muttered and started staggering away from the two, hoping he'd be left alone so he could go pass out somewhere.

Gregory Shultz "It's like watching a dog that got hit by a car," Greg mumbled as he sighed heavily as he was completely and utterly irritated but he could take this chance to get rid of the stupid woman. Walking over he grabbed Silas before he could stumble away and hauled him over his shoulder and looked at the woman.
"Well you walked and only two fit in my car. He'll be fine under my care now go find some nice people and a nice boyfriend, I won't tell you again that what we had between us is over," She left the speechless woman behind and simply went all the way back to his car where he put Silas in, buckled him in and drove off. Rather than taking him to the hospital he simply drove to his condo. By now Silas had passed out from his fever and no doubt the pain he was in which made things easier.
Once inside he laid Silas on the bed in the guest bedroom and simply fixed the stitching to stop the bleeding and then left the male to sleep there for the night. Greg rarely did this for people but in a sense he did so to get rid of the woman which he did and so he was pleased with the outcome. Greg then went and slept as well though he normally only slept six hours and so he was already up and it was still morning, around 3 to 4am. He would have to head to work in three hours though. So, he was in the living room with the light on as he was reading through books.

Silas let out a startled yell, which quickly turned to a pained one as the man slung him over his shoulder, making his head spin even more and...well the pain simply sent him over the edge so he did indeed pass out. His rib had just been put back in place and the pain killers were wearing off so that little toss over his shoulder had been excruciating. Silas awoke probably an hour or two after he'd been laid in the bed, a pained groan slipped from his lips as he cracked his eyes open. His side ached, his head ached, his arm ached, everything hurt. He squeezed his eyes shut once more as he let his mind clear and process what had happened...that Greg guy had thrown him over his shoulder and he surely had known it would hurt...that was probably the point. Wincing he pushed himself up and finally took in his surroundings. It was a nice room, everything was clean....and expensive looking and suddenly he knew exactly where he was. Greg had brought him back to his apartment, and he now dreaded the fact that he'd have to get up and come face to face with the man.
Taking in a deep breath which just brought a new spark of pain to his ribs, he pushed himself off the bed and stumbled to his feet. Despite the fact that he didn't like the man... he knew he owed him, this was what...the third time saving him? With a shaky sigh he walked slowly to the door and cracked it open, squinting when the bright lights of the room met his eyes, causing them to dilate quickly. After adjusting to the light his gaze sought out the doctor and he quickly spotted him reading. He cleared his throat softly to catch the others attention, though he averted his gaze when he did so. Right now he looked...vulnerable, exhausted and all in all...broken. "Hey uh...thanks" He muttered, before he took a step back "That's all. Night" he muttered, quickly turning, stumbling, catching himself, and closing the door all in one quick bout of movement. He lifted his good arm to run his hand down his face, a stressed sigh escaping his lips, before he wandered back to the bed and carefully laid down. He knew the pain would keep him awake for another....few hours at least.

Gregory Shultz Silas's gratitude was a bit of a surprise but there was that small chance that the young man was still out of it. Nonetheless he watched him go back into the room to probably sleep some more. Upon reentering the room Silas would probably spot the medicine sitting on the bed side table. It was for his fever though upon observation he would notice that it had already been used which suggested that Greg had given it to Silas while unconscious.
After a couple more hours Greg made breakfast for himself and then simply left some for the male sleeping in the guest bedroom. He had taken a shower, got dressed and headed off to work. He was sure to leave Silas a note stating that he should eat the food before leaving and he was more than welcome to use the bathroom to shower as well as use the clothes Greg had set out for him despite the clothing being a bit bigger than him. Nonetheless he was free to use them and wash his clothes. It was up to Silas if he wanted to leave, Greg gave him the option of staying at his house till he got back. Silas needed the rest after all and so he didn't mind if he stayed longer.
Sure someone would tell Greg that leaving a drug addict in his home was stupid because they could steal all his things. But, Greg had hidden cameras in his house in case of burglary and Silas was cursed in the fact that he always bumped into him so therefore Silas wouldn't get away with stealing his things.

Silas didn't stir until an hour or two after the doctor left, and the moment he opened his eyes a soft groan slipped from his lips. He felt like he'd been hit by a truck or something. His whole body was tense and sore and his head was still muggy due to the fever. Slowly he sat himself up, spotting the medicine on the side table, which he quickly took, before he slipped out of the bed and wandered slowly out into the main room. Finding that it was completely empty he simply wandered until he found the kitchen. He spotted the food and the letter almost instantly and walked over to the table, scanning over the letter in silence. He found it...strange that the man was still willing to be nice to him even though he had been...well a bit of a pain in the a**. After a moment of just staring at the paper he took a seat and managed to eat about half his plate of food before he simply couldn't eat anymore. By the time he finished the fogginess in his mind had somewhat cleared and he let Toxic green eyes wander, taking in his surroundings properly.
It was a nice place, and the doctor was undoubtedly a rich man, but Silas had no interest in his possessions. Turning his focus back to his plate he picked it up and wandered over to the sink....where he then washed all the dishes that were there, might as well right? After that he found his way to the washroom and took a shower, grateful for the warmth...and the clean feeling afterwards as he slipped into the other mans clothing which was a bit big on him. Gregory had a wider frame than Silas did, that was for sure...which made Silas frown a bit- he didn't particularly like being as thin as he was. Shaking his head as if to clear it he wandered around the apartment...tidying little things up here and there due to sheer boredom. Eventually he curled up on the couch and simply passed out again, the medicine making him drowsy and thus he decided a nap was in order.

Gregory Shultz Today happened to be one of those tough days at work. A man came in, a victim in a shooting due to a drunken man throwing a fit. It was also learned that the shooter was also heavily doped up on heroine. None the less the victim was shot in the head and Gregory was quickly called to surgery but about two hours into the surgery the man had gone into cardiac arrest three times and the third time he was gone. There was nothing that could be done and so he called the time and after cleaning his hands he was faced to go tell his five moth pregnant wife that he was gone.
He was composed and overall showed little emotion and simply told her what would happen from there. This was where people thought it was cold hearted and had no feelings. He had to stay level headed and composed at work, no one would take him serious or want him to work at a hospital of he was emotional all the time. This was how it was meant to be.
After work he headed home now, it was around nine o'clock now. The man that had passed away still weighed heavy on his mind especially his pregnant wife. Now she would have to raise the child on her own and look at her child knowing that they would have no father (well for some time unless she remembered).
Once home he wasn't sure where Silas was but he was far too stressed and feeling that tingle of sorrow to really look where he was. Therefore he simply walked into the kitchen to get himself a nice glass of whiskey.
