"Sorry I am not explaining well enough." She tightened her hands on his chest. "You saw the sky right? How it was clashing colors and stuff." She assumed he did. "There was a tear in reality, in which a bunch of us got sucked in. And as we got sucked in, we lost all of our memories of who we were, who we knew...what we were."
She breathed out, "So we had to find our memories again. Humans, Horseman, Students. All of us." She made a face as his hands squished her cheeks, eyes narrowing. "Shis issh shrieous shou!"
She pulled his hands away. "I was worried that if you had been sucked in, you would've lost your already little memories. Or that you might gain new ones about your time before you were a vampire." She moved her hands to rest on his shoulders. "I was more worried that you might've changed, a lot of us that came back did."
Then her eyes narrowed, "I don't think you'd've bounced back from this one Lou."

"Well you could always just stop trying and just enjoy my presence." The vampire suggested, though it didn't seem to fly with the mermaid. Them's the breaks.
At the very least he still didn't seem to care. "Serious, mhm." His grin returned as she grabbed his hands. No really, why was she so worried? He didn't understand.
As her hands rested on Lou's shoulders, he waited for the impending shake. "So? I still would've been me. I've always been me, even without memories." He didn't really understand. "And from all I can gather, whatever memories I had when I was alive don't exist anymore. That part of me is dead." Well. Technically all of him was dead.
"Look. You're here. You're coherent. You're still big-boobed fish lips." He gestured towards her rack as if it was necessary. "I don't see what the big deal is... And I think the fact that you were so worried about me suggests you like me a lot more than you let on." Cue eyebrow waggle.

"I enjoy your presence just fine." Amphi raised an eyebrow. "You are here with me aren't you? It's not like I am kicking you out. Yet."
She did want to shake him but refrained from doing so because it's not like anything...
"But..." Amphi stared at him, "But...but..Louuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu" His name came out in a long exaggerated sigh from the mermaid.
"Yes but..." Augh he was always so logical. Her arms just instead wrapped around him, holding him close. It was probably asking for it but who cared at this point.
"I just didn't want to come back and find that everyone had changed. Even if it was good or even if it was bad, though you could do with some more good in you." She sighed, "I like you the Average amount." She said, "And only cause now we've kissed twice. That's Average." She was in denial, so what.

"I'd like to see you try and kick me out." Lou spoke softly, especially now that her arms were wrapped around him. Wow, for once a ghoul really couldn't keep her hands off of him.
But that was okay. The vampire sighed and returned the favor, one hand resting on her lower back while the other played with her hair. Why she was so afraid of change, Lou couldn't be sure. "We'll I think I'm fine just the way I am." Lou declared shamelessly. At least someone was happy with him.
"Average, huh?" Well that would never do. "So that means the more I kiss you, the more you'll like me, right?" His eyebrow raised, giving her a look that suggested he could fix his average rating.

"I'd do it too." She murmured, sighing against him. "But I am only hugging you because you need it. More hugs in your life Lou. That's what I will give you." She was mostly joking. Mostly.
"I'm not scared of change...sorta..." As if reading his mind, "I'm scared of what it can do. I was caught by hunters once, and they did something....and I changed. It was a terrible time. I lost everything I was because of it...." She shrugged now, "But eventually I came back, with time. I just don't want to experience that horribleness again, or anyone else to experience it."
His look made her chuckle a little before squinting. Joke....? Not with Lou. "No, I will like you average because again, we have only kissed. If I liked you more, Then I would allow more.....things....like maybe swimming with you. But not yet, I don't like showing people my mermaid form a lot." She whispered, stepping back from him and starting to fiddle with her hands. "Plus...PLUS, you don't need me to like you more anyways right? That would be silly....." Ah...."Do you want a spookie or something?"
DISTRACTION TIME.

"Because I need it, or because you need it?" Lou asked with a smirk. "I don't recall asking for hugs." Not that he was complaining, really. If this was as close to action as he got, then he'd just have to deal until he made it to second base. Mmm, yeah.
"I suppose I can understand that." What, nothing snarky to say for once? "But the more you wish for something not to happen, the more inevitable it seems." Apparently that was all he was going to say about that.
Swimming? Was that like... Her term for getting busy?
Huh.
Before he could say anything, the subject of spookies was brought up. "Bring 'em on out!" Meanwhile Lou would just make himself comfortable, grabbing pillows and patting them down as if he was in his own dorm. Mmmm, yeah.

"I need it too." She hugged tighter. "You don't have to. I'll just give them anyways." Her eyes closed, and regardless of him being cold, felt at least nice that he would allow even her to do this.
"I don't want anything else to happen Lou, I can't keep fighting." Amphi whispered, "I'm not this strong, It's all an act. I don't know how much longer I am going to last...."
After she let him go, she headed over to the small kitchen, pulling out the ones she had made aimlessly and a cups for tea, taking it over to her bed and sitting next to him. Offering the tray out to him.
She didn't make a comment at his comfortableness because she was feeling a bit better with him there.
"Lou, what are you going to do after the academy?"

Lou wasn't so sure how much he was really enjoying this anymore. Sure, he had a hot ghoul practically pushing her boobs into his chest. That was bitchin'. But then there was this... Feelings... Thing...
The mermaid was practically spilling her guts to him and he was just waiting for the 'what about you' bit to come along.
Oh hey, spookies! What was he thinking about now?
Lou had no hesitations about taking the tray and sitting it on his stomach as he went to town on the sweets. They were good, but not nearly as good as his spookies, he thought.
"Eh? What was that?" He was talking with his mouth full now. "Oh." Then he swallowed. "********, who cares? That's the future, this is now. Though, I'd imagine I'll just go back to doing the same thing I've always done." And that didn't seem to bother him in the least. He didn't care to be homeless, really.

She made a small sound.
"Lou."
Then just shook her head, because there was no reason to question the vampire really. He was who he was, and Amphi got a fairly good idea of it now. She respected it even a little, until he ruined it with his crude comments, and envied that he didn't care about others opinions. How she wished she was free from that burden.
"What did it feel like when you died and were reborn?" She studied him now."Do you remember more than just the awakening?"

Lou looked at Amphi when she started questioning, sitting down the spookie he'd just picked up.
"I don't know what dying felt like." The boil said honestly. "But when I woke back up I was very disorientated. My own body was alien to me, and my thoughts were equally so." His hand rested just above the pan, staring up at the ceiling.
"Everything was like... A dull ache. As if everything that was me had been torn apart and sewn back together a couple days earlier. I suppose whatever I went through, it hurt pretty bad." Lucky he couldn't remember it, Lou supposed.
"I didn't know who I was, or why I was. I was naked on a pile of garbage behind a bar." He paused.
"But, there was a woman standing over me. She was wearing a cloak, but I could remember beautiful locks of red hair flowing out from under the hood. She stared at me. Watched me. Observed me as if I was a strange new creature... And as I found that I could move my limbs, she said 'Your name is Loucious Cedrick Ferre' and walked off."
The vampire's head tilted over to look at the mermaid. "And that's my earliest memory."

She watched his face, the way he described it.
She was curious. How did he end up where he had, Where did the woman come from? What was she to him? Obviously the woman had known him before his death, or perhaps not.
She disappeared into wild romantic fantasies of a red headed ghoul who had somehow turned him maybe from when he was a human and then followed him to the halloween world.
Maybe perhaps she was even in the school watching.
though it did make her wonder why she allowed Lou to do the things he did.
"Well...." She stared at him, "That has a lot of questions I want to ask about you that you don't know. I want to meet the woman, how did she know you? It's so odd. And to leave you there with nothing but your name..." It was thoroughly distracting her from her own problems to think about Lou's.

Not that Lou actually considered such things as problems.
He could see the curiosity brimming from her face, and it just made him roll his eyes. This seemed familiar. Didn't the ex-oreo engage him in a very similar conversation? Ugh. Back to spookies.
"Just a hunch." The boil started as he chomped into one of the sugary sweets. "But I think she was the vampire that turned me." The boil nodded as he spoke his hypothesis out loud. "I could be wrong, but it just seems right. Other than that though, I have no ******** clue." After a moment, he added: "And frankly I'm fine with that."

"Ahhhh Doesn't it remind you though of your soap opera's?!?!" She clasped her hands together.
"Don't you want to find the mysterious red headed woman and make her talk to you?" She whispered.
"What if she was more than just your maker?"

Lou, for once, wasn't amused. "My life is already like a soap opera." The vampire tried to correct. "And I had the feeling she didn't want to be bothered." He may or may not have been making excuses now.
Then his face deadpanned. "... Yes fish lips, she's not only my creator, but she's also my sister and secret lover." Vat a tweest!

She reached him over and slapped him on the leg. "Stop dicking around Lou." Yay, she had picked that up from hunters, they had such colorful language.
"I can't believe you are't curious even a little bit." She sighed, tucking her chin in her hand. "I seriously can't believe it. I'm interested and I really only half like you."
