Sear's noise scrunched in dislike at the mention of a branch. True it wasn't a sword, dagger or any bladed weapon but it must have been more painful in the long run. A branch would of had more impact points. Its wounds would last in a shorter time though, which was the only good thing. "I see... Do be wise and not fight in a forest or wooded area next time then?" He chuckled. "Yes, I think it is about time I stop hiding and seek out those who wish to take what is ours."

"Unfortunately, I believe the foe brought the branch with him to the battle." Amor explained, picking a few splinters from his shirt and flicking them away. He nodded in agreement, "Although our number is small for now, every little thing helps. Hmm... I am not the most motivational, how do you suppose we get more on our side?" He tsked at the thought, "should we try to recruit some Antarmurrs followers as well?"

Sear's fur bristled faintly at the mention of the God of Darkness. His eyes held a dark nature to them for a flash before returning to normal. "We do not need their help. They are zealots who cannot see any fault in that poor excuse of a God."
He took a moment to calm himself before sighing. "We can always call upon my mother's ally for help. We could even dare ask some of the newer Gods' for assistance too.."

To say that Amor wasn't frightened when Sear had gotten angry would have been a lie, as his eyes widened and he took a cautious step back. While he shared the same 'hatred' toward the god of shadows, he also felt that he and his loyal numbers will be of use in the future against the curse... if they could get passed their differences. For now, he will not consider him, it will be better at the moment due to the current war.
Speaking to the hellhound goddess was not high on Amor's priority list, but if it will gain a strong ally, he would do what he will. "Newer Gods? I was unaware of any newer deities after my father. But if what you say is true, then we can risk a try to ask them as well."

Sear didn't notice the brief moment of fear that crossed Amor's face. He shared deep with his mother's hatred for Antarmurr'ss and it probably wouldn't fade anytime soon. But he took pause and thought. "..It would make sense that there's new Gods, right? I mean... I haven't met any other Gods aside from my Mother but... it just feels like there's new ones." He shrugged a bit and shook his head. "Where do you recommend we begin?"

After calming himself, he took his step back to Sear, short tail giving a small flick. He put a hand up and cupped his temple in thought. "Though I do believe that the newer gods and goddesses should be alerted, I would not have a faint idea where or who to start discussing matters with first."
A soft 'hmm' floated from his throat. So that would leave the current deities already established. Antarmurr's was already out of the picture, so that left; his father, Sear's mother, Venezia. Now was not a time to draw a blank on the others. Willow was one he believed he has heard about, but the rumor was that she had joined with the shadow god as well as the god of death. The fae goddess came to mind as well, but she was another ally of the shadow god. Perhaps locating the newer arrivals would be much easier. No, they haven't the time. With that, he dropped his hand and looked to Sear. "May I be allowed to speak with your mother?"

Sear thought about it himself then shrugged. He wasn't exactly sure who was allied with who or who was new. His mother would know better than him. Soon she was mentioned in the conversation and his ears perked a bit. "Hm..? You may but you must come with me. And stay close... Otherwise a gargoyle may snatch you where you stand."

Hearing the warning about the gargoyles did not make him feel any more comfortable about meeting Hexynia. In fact, his heart started racing a mile a minute, but luckily, he was able to keep that fear, or at least, most of it off his face. He nodded in understanding, bowing to Sear before grabbing his sword and hilting it. "I greatly appreciate it. Please, lead the way."
