A few quick hops back were in order to avoid another swipe before he charged forward again an leapt forth bringing the scythe back down at the dragon. It just didn't seem to tire at all, but neither did he. One more the dragon found it's prey slipping just out of it's reach with a grin before he turned the dodge into a strike at the things tail. It would really have to try harder than that! Or perhaps he shouldn't have been taking the beasts strikes as a joke, because once more it managed to thwart his attack with a swift strike to his side. at least he'd managed to plant the scythe in it's foot in the process!
