Amrita pulled the last needle from her cheek, flicking it away from herself. She pat away the pinpricks of blood that were forming on her face, and as she did, she realized she wasn't alone on the other side.
"Oh, hey, that was fast." She sounded quite honestly surprised. "Good job. You seem to have made it out decently~" The next little one joined them, and she gave a small smile to her as well.
Amrita was acting so weird! Why was she being soo....so different.
"Amrita are you sure you o-" And then the patchwork was through the hallway. well...Jack dammit man. Aki was soon after and Amphi had to lace her hands together with worry.
Last of the group was her and Maple again, though the girl beat her to going through. Once all of them were safe, she gestured for the shadows to go and then herself.
Well since she had been there before, she made it through the hallway no problem, the only visible damage was a small cut across her cheek where she barely avoided a swinging lance.
Medieval man.
"Everyone okay?" She looked around, checking them all. "Amrita are you going to be alright?" It looked out of them all, the patchwork had the most damage.
It was good they'd all made it so far, a bit bruised, but alive. Though he was panting a bit, and rubbing his arm where he'd been cut. At least there hadn't been anything implanted in him like Amrita, he couldn't complain. He offered a bit of a tail wag at the encouragement before looking back at the room, then at the girl again.
"Wah roohm trah kehl?" Because apparently the concept of a boobie trapped room was a bit beyond his mental capacity for things people made. Whyyyyy?

Somehow, it didn't surprise her that the last one through took the least amount of damage. She leveled a very unimpressed stare at the girl, but it melted away quickly. It didn't matter in the long run, so long as they all survived to the end of this test.
"I'm fine." She waved off the concern. "How do you even know my name, girl?" The dog-boy started to speak, but all she could do was give him an odd stare. What was he trying to say? Was it an alien language?
Amrita never was good with accents. Not in any life.
Amphi blinked at Amrita again, "I know you cause we went through something terrible together. Don't YOU remember that?" She turned her head to the next room, frowning.
"Um...Excuse me." Amphi pushed one of the shadows into the room and watched him get impaled in a switch floor. Part of her felt bad and the other part was of the 'Nesscary evil.' "I think we should take this room instead." The mermaid entered it, knowing what to expect.
The guardian woke, standing between her and the wall where the grail was. This time, she knew it would be different. Summoning Refraction, she moved closer to Aki.
"Maybe this time I will defend you instead Aki." her gaze fell to Maple and Amrita. "Are you guys ready?"

"I remember terrible things, but not with you." Amrita's eyes narrowed in suspicion, but before she could push the issue, Amphi sacrificed one of their underlings to heal them all, and shortly after that a Guardian loomed ahead, an imposing figure in greys and blue.
"I'm ready. I'll look after this one." If Amphi was going to defend one, she would at least keep an eye on the other. "But I don't think I need to hold your hand, do I?" It was hard to tell if it was a snark or an honest attempt at a confidence boost.
She let out a yell as she charged forward, Misty Wrath swinging at the Guardian's arm, trying to disarm him.

And there went the shame ears. This happened a lot apparently. Spending thirteen years of his life never speaking a word did that. Not that he knew, but he'd only been learning to speak for a few months, so words were still rather difficult.
He paused, taking a breath as he prepared to try and speak again. Words just always felt foreign falling from his mouth which was why he tended to keep quiet. "Ah... r-roo-ahm. Ha-er-tuh ah-" He was too busy concentrating ont he words to notice the poor sacrificed soul. Poor thing. Oh well.
Though he was interrupted as they got to a rather large room. Grails on every shelf and... another nice fountain! It looked lovely... until a giant knight appears and told them to to stop.
He did look up at Amphi drew closer, smiling a little. "Ah okeh." And with that he braced himself, lifting his large golden sword that matched her in size. Time to deal with a thing.
And then dived at the thing, leaving a rather large slash along it as he swung. He could keep up, at least if he tried!

Amphi followed after Aki, but since she wasn't use to the new weight of the weapon, it fell short of its mark. "Ah...Maybe I will get it better next time." The mermaid whispered.

Maple really just didn't know what was going on. There seemed to be drama brewing, which she was going to stay out of, and confusion just all around - honestly she also had a little hard time understanding the pup as well. But she stayed out of it, behind all the others and just watched them in concern.
Not like she could really help much anyways.
So, she followed them, once again knowing what would await them. "I'm n-not," she replied to Amphi, "b-but that d-doesn't change m-much..."
She held out her broom and went for the attack.

"Good. You'll be fine." Amrita offered the hint of a smile to the girl, just before focusing again. This time though, the full force of her attack was knocked aside, though she at least managed to scratch the thing.

And then he was back to hacking at the thing rather well for someone his size as he nodded at Amphi. "Yeh, es harhda." He replied, recalling when he was getting use to his own blade.
Still, he should focus. Back to trying to lob off an arm, or something...
