Msoh signaled to her companions before getting back on her beast.
"We should continue quickly. No idea when his friends will catch up to him."
She approached the building, finding a fountain that she drank deeply from ((OOC: HP 30-> 40)) and felt rejuvenated. She continued to a narrow hallway, looking over her shoulder for her companions. She sniffed, a frown on her face.
She pointed to one of the companions ((OOC: NPC companion)) and pointed at the hall,
"Would you toss a pebble there? This hallway doesn't... smell right."
Her ears and tail twitched apprehensively as the companion tossed a pebble into the hall. She jumped backwards chocking back a yelp as the traps revealed themselves.
She turned back to her companions, swallowing hard,
"I don't see another way around here. We need to be careful."
Clara felt so refreshed from drinking that water that she though she could do ANYTHING. And so, she took a running start, jumped, and got pummeled by random falling rocks. Not to mention, she couldn't actually fly, so she came crashing on the floor.

Careful? Weeeell Wilson was pretty sure he was going to make it out of this alive, so he was just a bit careless when he walked through the hallway. He jerked forward when something got him in the back and then he found himself tied with rope. "..." After some time spent undoing the rope, he walked to the other end.

Oh yes, be careful. The fountain was a nice touch, really, and he gladly...stared at it for a few moments before wiping off a bit of the dust that had gotten onto his mask. Well, that was startlingly useful.
Turning to the rest of his party, Elium took a deep breath, rolling his shoulders for a moment. "Alright, I'm just goin' to--do this. Yeah? Yeah."
And with that, the tall skinny masked guy proceeded to bolt down the hallway. It didn't end very well.

Mosh headed down the hall, feeling a sting as an arrow lodged itself in her arm.
She growled, snapping it off as she continued, expertly dodging an ax swinging pendulum-style before her, before getting hit with another arrow.
She let out a primal yell as she tore through the traps, feeling blades push the air around her and leaping over flame shooters in the walls.
She reached the other side of the hall, doubled over and panting. She shook her head, straightening up to check on her companions.

Mosh turned, after briefly checking on her party. She seemed to have escaped with the least amount of damage which did not bode well for her new friends. She looked over the new room and frowned. A companion tossed a rock after she motioned to him again and the rock clattered on to a tile causing a pillar of flames to shoot and the rock was gone.
Things were going quite well for Mosh. That is until she felt spikes stab through her foot and her arm felt another arrow enter her flesh.
She fell on the opposite side of the room, watching her other companions come through.

The tile you step on gives way under your feet... and nothing happens. As you step on this tile, something wet sprinkles on you from above. Whatever it was, you feel better. Recover 15 HP. A tower of flame shoots up from the tile, badly burning you. Take 10 damage. CLANG! Something hard and heavy falls from the ceiling. You forget something. You activate a trap. Take 5 damage. You activate a trap. Take 3 damage. A companion reaches out and pulls you to safety! Nothing happens. As you step onto the tile, you are filled with a feeling of... elation...? Recover all HP. A companion reaches out and pulls you to safety, taking your place! Except... they're gone. Lose a companion. CRUNCH. You can still hear your companion's screams of pain as they suffer heavy damage. Take 50% HP loss (ie if you are 30/40, take 15 damage).
While he had somewhat better luck getting through the first part of these tiles, Elium unfortunately stepped on one that was very much wrong--and with that, the shade that jerked him out of the way was very swiftly killed. Aaand then he walked right into a large gout of flame.
Way to go, Elium. Way to go.

On the bright side, Wilson didn't forget anything or get a companion killed this time. He considered this to be an achievement. The hunter rubbed the back of his head as he jumped over a pit of snakes to the other side.

There was no end to the freaking pain. So much pain. Clara felt something large STOMP on her, not once, BUT TWICE.

On the plus side, Elium didn't have to charge at it with a tiny knife anymore. Summoning an arrow, he let the bolt fly in the direction of the Guardian, hoping that it would do more damage than the last time he'd fought the damned thing.
