His mysterious smile definitely caught Richard's attention, and immediately his mind wondered to just exactly what Kor meant by this. He had a rather active imagination, or rather, would have if he wasn't fighting the effects of a hangover, so he was willing to lock away that topic for another day. "Worse? We'll have to see about that someday, now won't we?"
He really adored this guy and it almost made him regret that he never considered dating in the long term. Maybe, just maybe Richard would make an exception and Kor would be the first, but for now, his mind was finally beginning to catch up with the rest of the world and, more importantly, his stomach, and while he was no fan of greasy food, he couldn't ignore the mouth watering sensation that threatened him right now. He tried to keep it together, and though his stomach began to grow, he would not allow a playful gesture to go unnoticed. "I don't know... could be a worth investment. Think on it, Thor... people would stampede through the streets for that video."
Never one to turn down a free meal, Richard practically flung himself at Kor, being careful not to throw his coffee everywhere, especially on the poor man that shared with him a might fine meal and an even better dessert. "Then lead the way... I will trust your prognosis just this once and quell my sensitive palette. I'm more than ready..."
Except the fact that he was barefooted, but that wouldn't have taken more than a few seconds to slip on. Being the victim of the occasional drink made him grow to hate shoelaces, as he wasted far too much time stumbling with them in the past when he was in a hurry. He had no idea what he planned on doing after the meal, assuming it wasn't coming right back up anyways, but it couldn't hurt to play it by ear every once and awhile. He was an adult, and he could do whatever he so desired! He could even eay spicy burritos barefooted, if he wanted to... except the thought of broken glass and germs on the street made him scuffle towards the living room to find his shoes. "So ready I almost forgot my shoes..."

"Indeed," he murmured softly to Richard's question. Kor would share if he could call Richard something other than a one night stand. If he could call the red-head a friend, feel he could trust him not to spread it around. Kor wasn't exactly proud of his past. Not anymore, anyway. No one would be, given what he's been through. "Well, get your shoes on and let's go. I don't know how much they're going to be selling today." He wasn't rushing or pushing the other, but he really wanted those burritos. Dating wasn't something Kor often did. In the past he couldn't date. It wasn't allowed, but he'd longed for more of a relationship than a trip to his bedroom and sneaking out. Even now that's what he wanted, but sometimes old habits died hard. That's not to say there was anything wrong with a one night stand, as long as you are both consenting adults and you take the proper precaution, but that didn't always happen. Kor was, and wasn't, looking for someone to settle down with, to start a family with, even if that family consisted of cats or dogs. He just wanted some stability in his life. Even his tattoo shop depended on how many of Destiny City's citizens wanted a tattoo. It wasn't always a steady stream of income. But relationships could wait. He was only twenty-five, after all. Kor pulled dreadlocks back into a ponytail before he tied one around, and actually used his own hair to keep it up. Fiddling with piercings and his gauges, he made she he was ready to go out for the day. With that done, he opened the door and ushered the man out into the morning sunlight and the warmth that came with it. Fall would be here soon, it was in the air, heavy like the scent of promised rain, or a fog that wouldn't quite lift. Glancing up at the blue sky, Kor squinted and kind of pursed his lips before scoffing. "Okay, that whole recording thing was a joke but, uh... If we wanted to make one just for the two of us.." He turned to Richard and winked at him before going to unlock his car. "As for trusting my prognosis, good. I know good food. I mean, I don't dine at fancy places because I could probably cook that same meal in my home for a quarter of what they charge you,.. But I know good food." Despite being a smoker, he had a good pallet! Or so he liked to believe. Richard wouldn't remember tasting the spaghetti, but it had been good. Kor seasoned like a professional.

"Fine, fine, rushing me... I see how it is!" Richard said with a groan, over-exaggerating his exasperation to the umpth degree and flashing Kor a sour look, before slipping into his shoes. It only took a few seconds to get them on, and when he put them on the RIGHT way (for once), he threw his arms into the air and gave Kor a look that'd read 'is this not an amazing feat', before rushing to join his friend's side. "Must be some mighty fine burritos if it has you rushing me like this. If this was an elaborate ruse to gain my interests, then consider it a success, Thor."
Richard watched in amazement as Kor pulled his hair up, as though he just witnessed a magician pull a rabbit from his hat, and he let his envy be known as he tugged at his shorter, less impressive but at least more vibrant locks before pulling them back into a more presentable manner. After all, he was about to go into the public, and one must always look his best, Richard thought. "I always wondered what I'd look like with such long hair, but I suppose it will simply have to remain a fantasy. If it gets cold, do you think I could hide in those locks of yours for warmth?"
Whatever good the painkillers did for Richard was null and void the minute Kor opened the door and let the sun in, and he let out a pained hiss, grabbing for Kor's back and seeking to hide behind him from those harmful rays. What was Kor going on about now? Something about a recording- it came back to him and he let out a low chuckle, continuing to use him as a shield even when he turned around and winked at him, and Richard could not have retreated into the car any quicker. "We shall discuss such things after our stomachs are full... let us be on our way, away from that wretched sun..."
Hangovers sucked... but he'd always do something like this again...

"They're the most delicious things this side of the earth, I promise," he murmured, chuckling a little. "As for gaining your interest... I may just sway my hips and have that, yeah?" He winked at the other man before watching the man quickly retreating into the car. Ah, he was prissy, but adorable. Kor could seriously grow fond of him. Humming out, he got into the car at a much lazier pace and buckled up. He reached for his sunglasses and put them on before looking over to Richard. He studied the red head. Slowly, he pulled his sunglasses off and slipped them on Richard's face before the car was started and he slowly backed out of his driveway. "Long hair? You might look good with long enough hair to pull back into a small ponytail. Yea, I think that would suit you.." He smirked, Kor was picking up the conversation again and just took off down the road, knowing exactly where he was going. He'd only been to this place a million times before. "I mean, not hair as long as mine, but you'd definitely get some attention from the ladies if your hair was a bit longer. 's got a good thickness to it.." Kor shrugged a little more and glanced over to the side, watching his reaction. "Just take it easy. You're probably still hurting because of your hangover."

"I don't know about that, Thor…" Richard said with a mumble, as he tried to press his head against the glass to steady himself but finding it too difficult to maneuvering around the seat belt. How in the hell he managed to remember to fasten that in his state was amazing, and what was even more amazing was Kor's notion that these burritos were the best tasting things on this side of the planet. "As a confectioner I have a very sensitive palette, with very particular taste buds… and let us not start on my poor little digestive track!"
He cut himself off before he could go into any embarrassing detail, though, before flashing a smile to Kor and arching an eyebrow with amusement. "But… I trust you to be gentle with me. As for that hip-swaying thing… later…"
Richard gave him a wink, right before Kor placed the sunglasses on his face, and it was as though a great weight was lifted from his eyelids, and his relief was immediate and present to see. The moment the shades were placed over his eyes, he practically melted into the seat, and he flashed Kor such a look, as though he might have been considering pulling him into the backseat at any given moment. "You really think so? That might take too much attention away from you… because I'm certain you have quite the following, what with your dark chocolate complexion, storyboard tattoos and long, flawy mane… would you risk that?"

"Delicate your pallet may be, friend, but I promise that you'll love these." If Richard didn't like them, Kor was going to swear something was wrong with the other besides a headache. Greasy they might be, but the spice, the flavors? Kor wasn't a big cook, but he knew good food when he ate it. As Kor drove, he glanced at the red head that had melted into the seat and just smirked. One hand moved over to Richard's knee, squeezing it and patting softly. "Later. It's always later with you." He was half teasing and half whining a little. "You know you want to put your hands on my hips and let me take you around the dance floor again." His green eyes were lit up with mischief. "Anyway.. My dreads aren't actually flowing. They're kind of stiff because, you know, they're dreads.. You only think you'd take the attention off of me. I got the whole mysterious thing going for me. The bad boy with the ripped up clothes and tattoos, piercings. All the ladies want to get to know me." Not actually true. A lot of women didn't go near him because a face full of metal was intimidating. Or that his tattoos were. Or he was. Or it was a combination of all of it plus his height. Whatever. Either way, he still managed to have a small selection of women, and men, who were interested in getting to know him better. Kor's eyes went back to the road and he hummed as he turned a corner, heading towards the tattoo parlor. "I work... there. Eight and Half." He murmured, jerking his head to the left. "And the food is right up here." In front of them was a few food trucks just parked on the side of the road. There was already a small crowd gathering around them and he sighed.

"If I don't like these… I will never forgive you," Richard said, a serious look on his face that would have been tarnished had there not been such dark shades over his eyes as he would have easily seen the humor glint in them. That stern and serious look and the threat were tarnished when Kor squeezed his knee, and he gave a yelp, not hurt but truly not expecting it. "Hey, hey… you need both hands on the wheel for that kind of thing… and at least one foot on a pedal. The other foot, however… is always welcomed."
Though that'd be an unlikely position, but not entirely impossible depending on the flexibility of the driver. And from what he could remember of their little roll in the hay the night before, Kor -may- have been able to pull it off. His imagination only wondered so far before being reigned back in by the mention of Kor's hair, and he gave the thought a moment to consider, before bobbing his head. "Hm, yes… nothing turns a girl on like a man of mystery, I suppose. You're like a little Hellraiser puzzle box, one that the beholder feel compelled to solve… though hopefully without the gruesome demise. Instead of that, you get tasty spaghetti and a night of euphoric delights."
He wasn't even sure why he just compared Kor to that movie, or when he had ever seen that movie, but his attention was once again pulled away, looking to the building that Kor pointed to and admiring the business with an approving nod. "Ohhhhhh, nice exterior. Clearly visible to the eye, from either the streets or vehicles, not too worn, reliable looking. Certainly a nice- oh, is that the line for your famous burritos? … Maybe there's some truth to your claims after all if they have the entire block blocked."
Now he REALLY wanted those burritos!

"I really don't need both hands. However, I don't.. think I'm that flexible. Otherwise I would give you my other foot, you know?" Kor hummed as he thought about it and just laughed. "Though it'd look a little awkward. I mean.... It'd be my left foot since I drive with my right..." He hummed and shrugged. "So that means the one by the door. If I can somehow stretch myself over, you'd have my foot. For now.." He arched a brow and patted Richard's thigh again, squeezing. And then he was compared to Hellraiser and Kor's brows went high into his hairline. "..I think that's a compliment. I'm taking that as a compliment." With a little hum, Kor shifted to park the car and nodded, looking over at the line and sighed. "You should stop by the shop sometime. Got a nice interior, too." And then Richard was side tracked by the long line for the trucks and Kor shrugged a little more. "Not all of the lines are for them, but the longest one probably is. I mean, the other trucks serve good food, but by far the burritos are the best." He shut the car off and just leaned back in the seat, eyeing the crowd. He knew there'd be a crowd, but this was ridiculous. It was the longest he'd seen it and it caused him to frown quite a bit. "Damn it, I thought there wouldn't be this big of a line. Well, come on.." He got out of the car and went around to the passenger side, opening up the door and waited. "Let these people see your glorious red mane."

The idea of waiting in such a long line wasn't necessarily a foreign concept to Richard, but it still wasn't as appetizing to him either. Yet, there was nothing he could do. Kor was offering him a meal, and he was always told it was rude to decline such invitations. And if this was where Kor wanted to eat, then by thunder, Richard could put up with a line! They had to be good burritos to warrant such a line as this!
So when Kor opened the door for him, he let out a determined huff, before stepping out of the vehicle and making his way straight to the longest line, grabbing for Kor and looking to drag him along if need be. Thanks to the sunglasses that so graciously offered him, he was able to stand tall and face the sun's harmful rays, and look stylish too at the same time. "Kor, if there's something that I've learned about being a small business owner, is that when the line is long, it is 99.9% worth the wait. These burritos must be have been made by heaven itself to warrant such a line, and I will -not- miss the chance to have some! Come along, they cannot go another second without my mane!"
He offered a quick glance at Kor's business from where they took their place in line, and like a child to a parent, he tugged at Kor's shirt and pointed to it as he asked. "After we get breakfast, can I see your shop? I've never been inside a tattoo parlor before! Pleeeeeease?"

Oh, God, he was begging. Kor loved it when they begged, but usually under other circumstances. Humming softly, he nodded and sighed heavily, acting like he was put off by all this and just held up his hands. "Alright, alright. Twist my leg. I'll show you the shop after breakfast. We can eat in there, anyway. I've got some work to do before I can open it up. Gotta clean, inventory, paperwork, that kind of thing." Kor just smirked at that. He took hold of Richard's hand and tugged him to the line. Cutting in line wasn't something he did because it just pissed people off, and that's not what he was looking to do. Luckily Richard seemed to be the exact way, as it was actually Richard who got on the proper line before him. At least he was eager! The tattooed man just grinned and licked at his bottom lip, tugging one of the rings into his mouth to worry it against his teeth, humming. "You realize, of course, this means I've got to check out your shop. I mean, c'mon, business trade or something. I bet I can sell some of your suckers in my shop for the parents who bring their kids, or just any late night birds who need a pick-me-up." He hummed as he spoke, putting an arm around Richard's shoulders now that he let go of the man's hand and hummed. "Or... Just let me get about a hundred dollars worth of M&Ms and Starbursts."

Richard waved his hands and clapped them vigorously when Kor gave in to his pleas, and like a child that just annoyed his parents into taking him to McDonald's, Richard rejoiced loudly and proudly. "Yaaaay, I get to see Thor's tattoo parlor! Best day ever! Who knows, maybe I'll help?"
And by help, he meant find the nearest couch and maybe sleep on it while Kor got his affairs in order. At least he'd be out of his way and not making a mess of things, right? That in itself could be considered a form of assisting, could it not? It made sense in Richard's little world, and that's all that mattered to him. Suddenly Kor grabbed him by the hand and pulled him along, and Richard quickly recovered his 'I'm a responsible adult' facade as he shot in front of Kor in line. At his suggestion, Richard gave a low chuckle, giving the idea a thought before replying. "Well, fair is fair, though I can tell you, making and selling candy isn't anywhere nearly as entertaining as drawing on a person's arm or back. Unless you like kids, then maybe it's equally fun…"
The idea of combining their forces, though? That was an ingenious idea, really, and he was quick to cast his verdict on such a thing. He welcomed his ideas, as well as the arm around his shoulders, as they got closer and closer to the stand, and not once did Richard look at the menu. He just assumed that Kor would be the one to order for him. "Hmmm, I think I can supply you with some tattoo-theme treats. Give me a week or two to work out a few kinks and I'll let you taste test them… Sound good to you?"

Child-like annoying was a good way of putting the begging, but it was rather charming when it was Richard doing it. Normally he wouldn't have given in so easy (or so he told himself, he was a huge push over). "It's called Eight and Half," he said with a wink before the helping comment came up. Those brows raised high and Kor couldn't help but give a chuckle and patted the other's shoulder a little bit. "Cute. You can do some paperwork, I guess. But you can't do too much because I've got a specific system. You won't like me when things aren't done right and I go all hulk on you." He poked Richard in the side and then stretched himself out a bit more. He hadn't thought Richard was going to take him serious about the business venture idea, but he saw a look on red-head's face telling him Richard was taking it very seriously. Interesting. Chuckling a bit more, Kor stepped up in the line when it moved and just shrugged. "Hey, man, if that's what you want. I was just throwing it out there to be stupid. But if you think you could do something like that, I will not say no. I mean, I've only got a vending machine in my shop and it's not a lot to chose from." He hummed a little and Kor looked to the menu when they could finally see it before grinning. His favorite wasn't taken off yet. Good. "I don't know about you, but I'm getting a spicy burrito with jalapenos and some delicious spicy sausage, eggs.. a bit of gravy and some potatoes in it." His stomach growled as he talked and he reached down to pat it softly. Okay, so Kor was getting more and more hungry. Was it such a crime?

Paperwork wasn't always the most exciting thing to do, but with Richard, he could always find a way to make it fun. He gave a small, triumphant cheer when Kor gave in to his request, and though it might not have seemed like much, it was something that he was grateful for. Leave the other managers to take care of Sugar Shanty for the day. Today was dedicated to trying something new...
"Oh, don't worry, Thor, no need to hulk out around me!" Richard said with a wry grin, waving his hands as if to say 'calm down' and merely playing along with him. "I'll be as quiet as a mouse, and extremely helpful! I'm very good at paperwork... I can even sketch up a few ideas for you to use later on, if you'd like?"
He wouldn't mention that he couldn't draw anything fancier than stick figures, but he was absolutely certain that Kor wouldn't allow such a thing anyway. Right now, he was just talking for the sake of talking, as Richard had a want to do. In response to the business talk, Richard was always keen on finding new opportunities for himself and his business, and why should now be any different? Good for business, and guaranteed that he'd see Kor again in the future. A win-win situation! "It's something to think about, at least. You scratch my back, I scratch yours. Nothing we have to discuss now, but maybe for the future? We can even make it a date later on, if that should suit your fancy."
Richard was admittedly hungry, and had he not been, he would have immediately turned down the very notion of something so spicy and greasy sounding! However, even at the mention of jalapenos his stomach was screaming for some kind of sustenance, and who was Richard to refuse? "Then I shall put my faith and good health in your hands, Kor... I will have that as well!"

Making paperwork fun wasn't something Kor did because that could lead to distraction and that led up to messed up paperwork. He laughed a bit and just winked at Richard gain before pushing some of his bangs out of his face with his fingers. "Hulk out? Come on, I'm not like that, geeze." He gave the other a playful shove before pulling him in with an arm around his shoulder. He liked touching the other. Richard was soft and it was good. Of course, in Kor's line of work, you had to be very tactile, else you come off as a snob, and that was far from what the dark skinned man was. When Richard mentioned sketching, Kor bobbed his head a bit and chewed on on of the metal loops in his lip. "Mmn. Sure, why not. 'f it's good enough I'll buy it from you. Some artists do that, bring me sketches they think I'll like. I'll buy a design for twenty every now and then, but I can be pretty picky, Richard. I hope you don't get offended if I turn you down. Though I could make it up to you in other ways.." He let that trail of, leaving it up to Richard's imagination how Kor would make it up to him. "But yes, business later. For now is the time for food and then prepping the shop for business today." It was finally their turn at the truck and Kor put in his own order before looking Richard over. He didn't seem like the kind to get spicy with food. No, Richard was getting a normal breakfast burrito. Eggs, sausage, a bit of cheese, a bit of gravy, seasoned with salt and pepper, all wrapped up in a nice wheat tortilla that was warmed and all that was wrapped in a tinfoil packet. Then again, these burritos were huge, so they would only need one each. Without even thinking about it, Kor pulled his wallet out and paid for both and then told them to keep the change. From there, they would need to wait a little bit. "You can scratch my back any day, by the way. ...I mean literally. My back is kind of a hot spot, always itching." Kor laughed a bit, looking sheepish as he looked into the truck, watching them cook. He shifted a bit, tugging Richard in front of him so the red-head could see and he could speak directly into his ear. "See? You can even watch them. They don't mind."

Yes, Kor was definitely a fun fellow. He not only rolled with the punches but he always seemed to have a nice comeback, and he was definitely someone that Richard would like to have a few more outings with. He gave a soft snicker and decided to cut him some slack, relaxing in his hold and not giving a thought or care to what dirty looks the two of them might have been getting from the people around them. Richard didn't care. In his mind, they were all just jealous that they wouldn't be getting any of the two men tonight... well, it was still too early in the day to say that for sure.
"Nah, I'll be brutally honest and say my drawing is absolutely terrible, though I knew a few that could work some magic for me. I won't take it to heart if I'm rejected... after all, these are designs that'll appear permanently on someone else's body and you would only want the best for those, right?" Richard waved off the notion of being offended, knowing it wouldn't have been personal if it came down to it. He certainly didn't want something stupid on his body... besides, Kor's mention of making it up to him was more than enough to appease his wild imagination. Oh yes, he's be inviting this man over again in the near future, that was for sure. So caught up in his wild imaginations that he didn't pay attention to what Kor was getting for him, and it wasn't until the man had paid for their meal that he pulled his crimson eyes back onto Kor, pretending he didn't just imagine the two of them getting freaky in his bed. Though, Kor wasn't doing a good job in chasing those images away, and Richard hoped that nothing was too noticeable down there.
"Now, you're making it hard for me to want to watch them when you talk like that, but I'll try my best. Just for you, Thor."
