"Even then, better not to tempt fate." he replied after a moment's consideration on just what Gwyn had said. Elium raised his bow once more, this time aiming directly for the mimic's eye like he'd been pondering--and the arrow found its mark, killing the boss quickly and cleanly.

Using her sword as for leverage, Kari pulled herself up and began walking towards the others.

"Thank you for the help... you both really saved me," Kari commented with a small smile.

Spotting something glittering in the distance, she walked over, kneeling down slowly, to pick up two items.

"True." Gwyn said in response to the boil's comment. Then she reached down grabbing two items, which she quickly stuffed in her pocket.

Turning as Kari approached, Gwyn smiled and answered "Like Ah said, nae problem."

"Nothin' wrong with helpin' out." Elium finally came down from where he'd been safely perched, carefully meandering down the rocks as he neared the others. "Makes these things go down a lot quicker, too."

Now, what could he pull from the chest's maw, he wondered...
Oh, well then. That was rather nice.
