With the battle over and done with, there was now some time to talk. She moved forward to give Wilson another suffocating hug before turning to gesture towards Otto.
"You remember my fiance Otto, right?" She smiled sweetly at the blond, and then turned back to look at her cousin, beaming up at him expectantly, "I mean...you received our wedding invites, right?"

Otto walked over to the pair, his face burning red again as she mentioned that word again. Damn, he'd give anything to remember her again! He felt so bad, and awkward, not knowing anything about this wedding business.

He might've wheezed at the hug, but Wilson was used to it. He could feel it. Smiling softly, he wrapped his arms around his cousin and then curiously looked toward Otto. He knitted his brows together, but said nothing at her introduction. Fiance? Oh, fiance. "Of course I do," he feigned a sweet smile. "I wouldn't miss your wedding for the world." He looked away and murmured, "Even if it's a shotgun wedding."

Wilson was the best cousin ever. She briefly leaned up to press her cheek against his in an affectionate gesture before turning to look back at Otto. She dropped her gaze, as if embarrassed by Wilson's words.
"I know. I'm really sorry, Wilson. I wish we could have given you earlier notice--a week is super short--but you know, with the baby and all..."
She trailed off and pat her stomach.

Oh... dear... lord...
Otto was gunna be sick.
The teen rubbed his temples, his eyes glued to his feet. "I....uh..." Who was this guy? Important? Brother? Friend? What was he supposed to say to him? It was all too much at once! Weddings... pregnant woman... baby coming oh....god....
"J-just what do'ya think you're doing fighting like this while... yanno..." He tried to scold, still avoiding eye contact while gesturing to Eva's stomach.

"She's only in the early stages, so it's not that bad," Wilson waved it off. He chuckled and looked away, one hand on his waist before something flickered across his face. "But you know," he started, "I'm kind of worried about how you'll take care of it on top of the other kids." Wilson looked thoughtful as he stroked his chin.

"I'll be okay, dear," She assured the blond, nodding along with Wilson's words. But god, he was so awkward that it was really adorable. It was so very, very hard not to tackle him and give him a hug right then and there, but no, they weren't finished yet.
Sighing, Eva lifted a hand and cupped her cheek. "Well yeah...I mean, in addition to our eldest daughter and our triplet sons, this will be our fifth kid..."

"W-WHAT!?" Otto yelped, big blue eyes suddenly trained on the pair of trollers. "Oh god...." Otto held his head in both hands, his world going topsy turvy. Five kids!? Dear GOD!
"I....." The teen slowly lowered himself to the floor, hoping to world might stop spinning if maybe he could sit for a minute.

The young man held back a snicker. Five kids at your ages, really Eva? How was he ever going to top that? Hmm...
His smile turned just a bit sinister as he leaned toward Otto. "Treasure her carefully, Otto. We might've broken up once, but if I catch you cheating on her again I'll definitely steal her away."

Oh my god. Eva forced herself to bite down on her lip and turn away, pretending that she hadn't heard. She owed you a steak dinner after this, Wilson. She let a few seconds tick by before turning back to look between the two of them. Clutching a hand over her chest, she let out a heavy, forlorn sigh.
"Though you know...I'm not sure how Otto's other daughter is going to take this, you know?"
