Varrus shrugged. He couldn't really sympathize: he had a pair of guns but had never thought to use them. ...He wasn't sure why but he went back to throwing rocks at the Hydra. Clyde knows its not effective, but fun...yes that's why, it's fun.

She brightened, noticing that everyone - except that one girl with the guns - was hitting better. They were loosening up, and getting used to their new forms - but oddly old forms - once more.

Amrita's lips - at least what was left of them - pressed into a thin, determined line. So close, they were so close to defeating this thing, and moving on. Despair's Razor hit home again, embedding into one of the beast's many necks, becoming lodged halfway through.
