Checking to see what the knight had on him Mitsu pocketed what she could find before they were on their way again.

Now that they were finally able to enter the building Mitsu stepped inside with her companions. They first thing they found was a fountain and they all stopped to drink and clean off the dust from the battle. It was very refreshing and after a little while they were ready to continue on their way.
They didn't make it far, however. A strange hallway laid ahead of them and as one of her companions knelt and picked up a pebble to throw a large manner of traps sprang to life trying to eliminate whatever had tried to pass.
"...." It seemed like a terrible idea to continue but they had come this far.
Taking a deep breath Mitsu looked down the hall and then back at her companions. It was probably a bad idea to go all at once.
"I-I'll go first. Just watch what I do and follow after me."
"And if you trip something?"
Mitsu frowned as she looked back down the hall as the traps all began to close up and retreat. "Don't do what I do...."
With another deep breath Mitsu continued on her way. She remembered where the pebble hit at first and carefully avoided that spot but after that it was her best guess. She tried to look at the floor to get any clues but the dust and dirt had been disturbed all over the place so it was hard to say what might trigger a trap and what might be a safe place to put her foot.
As she continued on she was feeling a little better considering nothing had happened so far but as that feeling settled in it was gone with the simple sound of a soft click. She looked at her foot to find that it had pressed in a small stone. The wall beside her was filled with holes and she didn't want to stay long enough to investigate what would come out of them. In a rush she threw herself passed the area just as spikes came jutting out. She was nearly safe but the last spike caught her in the arm. The wound wasn't deep and thankfully she had made it but what other dangers lay ahead?
Trying to be a little more careful she continued on knowing she couldn't just simply turn back. Her footfalls were carefully calculated but even in the end that couldn't completely save her. She had been careful about not stepping on any strange bricks but she never expected the whole floor to completely crumble beneath her. Letting out a scream she jumped as far as she could just barely managing to grab the ledge on the other side, her feet and body dangling over the pit. She fought to hold her grasp but ventured a nervous peek below her. There was only darkness but she could have sworn she could hear something crawling down below and perhaps the swish of water.
Frantically she pulled herself up but even the other side wasn't safe. Just as she stumbled forward and away from the pit her hand pressed a trigger on the wall. It set off a number of blades that swung from the walls back and forth leaving a deadly obstacle in her path. With a whine Mitsu continued trying to keep herself out of harms way but getting nicked here and there as she made her way to her final destination.
Clear and mostly intact on the other side she called for her companions to follow. At least learning from her errors they were able to make it across safely.

There was no time to rest so Mitsu and her party continued on until they found an odd room. Once again one of her group threw a stone and it was instantly lit ablaze. With a heavy sigh she looked to the others. Whatever was at the end was hopefully worth it.
"I'll go first this time."
Mitsu nodded to her companion and waited for him to go first before they all began to follow. It didn't start off well. All of the tiles in the beginning must have been traps because no matter where anyone stood they all got blasted with fire. Thankfully the next tile had a different effect. As Mitsu stepped down she could feel something wet sprinkle from above. It was nice and cool and did well to sooth her burns.
The next few tiles that lay ahead were not as favorable. Another one gave way under foot and there was a blast of fire. Mitsu quickly hopped to the side hoping to avoid the full blast but the tile she stepped on also gave way. Unable to move again so quickly she cringed waiting for the worst but nothing ever happened...huh.
With one more tile to ago Mitsu choose unwisely and managed to get her hair a little scorched. Patting out the flames she looked at the rest of her party. They were a little crispy as well but at least they were all in one piece.

You activate a trap. Take 3 damage. A companion reaches out and pulls you to safety! Nothing happens. As you step onto the tile, you are filled with a feeling of... elation...? Recover all HP. A companion reaches out and pulls you to safety, taking your place! Except... they're gone. Lose a companion. CRUNCH. You can still hear your companion's screams of pain as they suffer heavy damage. Take 50% HP loss (ie if you are 30/40, take 15 damage).

Moving forward knowing that they were all in one piece Mitsu found her way to another room. This one held a fountain in the middle of it and something told her she just needed to make her way there and grab a goblet to drink from it. She was just about to do that when a javelin came flying out of no where and lodged itself into the ground at her feet. With a little more force she likely would have been done for.

Another javelin was armed and ready and came flying in their direction. Part of it hit Mitsu but she forced herself forward to attack though...from the looks of things a tiny scratch wasn't going to do much.

Another dink in the armor but Mitsu felt like they weren't doing much. It was going to take a lot to take this beast down.

With another hit in Mitsu tried to take a step back but got hit with another javelin. She knew this battle was going to be tough but it was looking somewhat hopeless off the bat.

Another hit in and Mitsu was hoping to see some kind of effect from their attacks but there was really none. This figure was strong and it was very much like attacking a wall.

Another attack but it did absolutely nothing. It bounced away and the large figure was completely uneffected.

Finally Mitsu was able to come around with another attack. It certainly got a reaction but not one she really wanted as the large figure turned toward her and stabbed at her with the javelin in hand.

With another blow as the figure came in to attack Mitsu tried to roll away to avoid most of the damage. It was nearly impossible to completely escape considering she had to be up close and personal to attack.

Another attack that simply bounced away. It was frustrating feeling like they weren't getting very far in this battle but it was no time to give up.
