Wait. Wait, what? She stared at the blond blankly, more focused on his odd reaction than the threat that was looming over them. What just--did he just get knocked on the head or something? Literally? She had forgotten how snappish he could be sometimes, especially since it had been so long since she faced it herself. Shutting her eyes, she let out a sigh and a soft, bitter laugh. Of all things to forget...
God, she hated this place. Please, let them just all regain their memories and go home soon.
When she opened her eyes again, she smiled, glancing over at Otto with her usual, chipper expression on her face. "Whatever you say, Puppy~"

Huh? Had he said something wrong? That laugh of hers sounded... bitter. Other than the cussing, what could she have been offended by? Hm... maybe it was the cussing. He hadn't exactly been nice. But neither had she! Fauning over some missing pupp---- wait, he was Puppy? Weird. "Don't make up weird nicknames for people ya just met." He growled, launching himself at the enemy, staff in hand. "...oh." Maybe there were more memories he was missing. This girl was likely from one of them. s**t.. this sucked. He needed to get past all this and finally find himself; his whole self. His head still hurt from the multiple hits it had taken previously, throbbing in a dull headache as he attacked the giant enemy. This girl was scary with her guns. He gulped audibly, and then struck the enemy twice across the torso. As the seconds ticked on, she seemed to relax some, letting out a sigh before turning to glance at the boy from the corner of her eyes. The corners of her lips turned upwards in a faint smile.

Otto's eyes went wide as saucers, the defeat of the boss becoming a numb background noise. His mouth hung open and his face drained of colour. "W.....we..'re...."Oh dear God. He forgot his Fiance!?!?! And h'ed been insulting her to boot! Jeez, he was a horrible person! Guilt set in like a stomach flu. "I...I'm so.... sorry..." He blushed a bright red then, burning hot, a hand moving to hide his face. "I don't remember..."

But man, Otto's reaction was a hundred times cuter than she had imagined. It was hard not marching up to him and rubbing her cheek against his right this second.
And then she calmly crouched down to pick up some loot because priorities.

Otto's stomach twisted into a knot now. Not only were they engaged they were.... "I..what? .oh god.." She wasn't pregnant too, was she!? ....WAS SHE!??! He was about to plead forgiveness and offer to take full responsibility when his attention turned to the many grails laid out. Regain something lost? "Maybe if I.. drink it I'll remember you?" He asked quietly, his red face avoiding looking at Eva. God, how did a shmuck like him land such a pretty fiance!? The teen breathed in quickly, downing the first drink he found. Reckles, yes, but he'd chosen wisely. While he did not remember Eva, a voice ran out in his mind that made his heart flutter in familiarity. < > The mental attack hug was felt in his bones, his eyes lighting up. "Tenya...."

Oh god, he was totally freaking out, and it was super cute. She bit down on her bottom lip in an attempt not to smile, trying to keep her expression as smooth as possible. Glancing over towards the grails, she inclined her head slightly at his nervous comment. "Maybe. I'd be really happy if you did remember me again..."
She wasn't good enough to force tears to well up in her eyes, but that was okay--Otto had already turned to eye the drinks. And speaking of which...she was supposed to pick one out herself, right? She glanced back at their shadow companions who had helped them along the way, noting that they seemed to be gesturing towards one of the grails in particular. Trusting their judgment, she hesitantly lifted it to her lips.
About time.
The voice in her mind startled her, blue eyes widening as she lifted a hand to touch her temple. That voice was......Chara? Her friend, her partner--how could she have forgotten?
Took you long enough, The voice sighed, but her tone was light, and there was a hint of warmth that seeped though.
Laughing aloud, Eva shook her head. "Welcome back, Chara!"
