They were having a bit of trouble hitting the thing, but they couldn't give up! No they had to keep trying. And it came back swing at her roughly which sent her off balance. "It does hurt..." she whined, obviously agreeing even as she quickly pulled her sword back again and swung, leaving a wide slash on the beast.

He fired off a few more shots before noticing the others around him. It felt right to help out, which he assumed he was doing. Everything seemed a little foggy right now, and Brenley stared stupidly at the mimic once he had lowered his guns. And then. Then it seemed like it was going to take them all out. They were all worn down. Time. To. Be. A. Hero.
Tired as she was, as the thing rounded to come at them again she stood up, before thudding her sword back down on the thing heavily on it just as it smashed into her. Sure, she crumpled to the ground gasping for breath, hurting rather bad, but the thing seemed to go down too.

"Glad to be of some assistance. I'll just..." He pointed one of his guns over his shoulder, then took his spoils and wandered off. x2
