Of course, when missing a course of action on one's journey. It comes to bite you on the a**. And even Cotton was upset with Olivia, bucking the girl off and onto the trail.
"Ow, I'm sorry Cotton!" She felt terrible for this, maybe it was for making him wait for so long or some pent up aggression. Or maybe he had seen what Robert's alpaca was able to accomplish. Hopefully he wasn't going to be getting any ideas.

Being knocked off and a little hurt, Olivia decided to use one of the bandages on one of her sores, especially now that she had some more from the pit stop. It had happy faces on it, that was nice.

At one of the markers of expedition, Olivia found herself finally face to face with bandits. She wondered if these were the same ones that had taken her bandages earlier. She glared at them, a little extra hard if it was indeed the case and grabbed her weapons if need be.

The gloves didn't seem to prove much against this gang of bandits, and Olivia found herself heavily under attack and heavily injured. She stayed on the ground for a little bit after they left. "ow..."

Then the bandits came back, much to her extreme dismay. Hadn't they already hurt her enough? Olivia pouted, hoping her small size would detour them from trying to take advantage of her but it seemed like it would have the opposite reaction. They saw her more as prey.

She tried to fight as much as she could, striking and punching. But from the last attack and now this one, the little girl was no match for a group of bandits.
They left her on the trail, and Cotton simply sat next to her as she was damaged and bruised. "Molan..." she whispered with a hand on her alpaca.

It was probably pure, stupid, brilliant luck. But Molan had decided, after properly handling the whole memory thing by staring into the distance for a good bit of time, to head back the way he came. Because why not. There wasn't that much at the end. He could make a stop at the little groves, visit, check on... certain people. But he hadn't exactly happened across the one he wanted a word with, rather... she was... difficult to find.
Or not.
He did recognize the flopped over mass of fur sitting next to her first, since the girl was rather small and crumpled on the ground behind it. But she might have heard the steady clop of hooves coming as the Prissy clattered along the stones. Oh he hated them so.
Still, he did arrive. In a timely manner at that. Purely by chance. He spotted the alpaca, Cotton, first, then the form crumpled and part of him did freeze. Oh king she died. Shoot shoot shoo- He quickly leapt from Prissy's back, running over as the horse snorted and was drug along and then finally released to stand there and glower. Well it wasn't like prissy was THAT important now. Just convenient. "Olivia!" He quickly crouched down, reaching out to pull her up into a sitting position. He didn't exactly have a lot of supplies, seeing as he was just wandering around now, but... "What happened?"
She seemed to be... alive? Wait did that count? At least she didn't not exist?
