He ducked underneath a javelin as the guardian threw it, stabbing his weapon in at the same time. Strike! Once more, his attack barely hit the guardian. Why wasn't this working? He clenched his fists, and then took a breath. He could do this. He was more focused now, and when the javelin came towards him, he dove past it, catching only the edge of his leg by it. It was enough though, to allow him to drive his spear into the guardian. He danced back. He was getting into a sort of rhythm now, strike, dodge, hit, miss. Sometimes he hit, and sometimes he missed, and mostly he got hit by the Guardian's javelin. It happens, and he wasn't all that concerned. This time when he darted in, the guardian brought down his javelin on to his shoulder, instead of throwing it, knocking Myr to the ground. There was no way that he was going to get in a hit this round, and he rolled to move out of the guardian's reach. He got back up to his feet, moving in closer to the guardian. He jabbed the spear in, hitting the guardian in the side. Yes! He had hit. This try went just about as well as the last, and he glanced about. Perhaps if he circled around the Guardian, he could get in a sneak attack from behind. Or at least catch him slightly off guard. He didn't expect to be behind the guardian long, but he was going to make the most of it while he could.
