Welcome to part 2 - The Trapped Hallway. To get passed this, you will need to roll 6d8, or six 8-sided dice. Each dice represents a trap, and your ability to bypass them. If you roll odd you take 5 damage. If you roll even you are not harmed.
You are free to create whatever sort of traps your devious mind can create, however please keep them medieval. No lasers or guns or explosives please! The encouragement/taunting of any teammates is encouraged.
Don't forget you can also sacrifice an NPC to bypass this room. Sacrificing an NPC to bypass counts for the entire party, as we're going to assume you send the poor sap forward to disable the traps only to lose them tragically in the process.
Iyari was determined to move ahead and motioned the others in her group to follow. The hallway was narrow, not enough room for people to walk beside each other and she stopped, blinking and thinking. The holes in the wall were indicative of something but she was stubborn.
"It's nothing to fear." She huffed and began a leaping run into the hallway.
Unfortunately for Iyari, without her memories she had forgotten a basic principle of well, anything. With the first step arrows moved through the walls and she was unable to dodge them all, but rather used her wings in an attempt to propel herself. This of course made two large, spiked metal balls fall down from above and she landed on the floor hard.
Like a machine gun of arrows, she was pelted and was forced to run from them. Near the end when she felt she might be free two large logs tied to logs came down from the front and the back. She dodged the first but got smashed into by the second. It forced her out of the hallway and she took in a few deep, gasping breaths.
"It's okay!" She said, pulling an arrow of herself without much of a wince. Less pain on her body and more pain of her pride, she fought the urge to sigh. "Well come on!" She invited, trying to pull more arrows out of herself. This was way worse than the knight had been.
Mea hung back and watched as Iyari fell all over herself. Bouncing she held back a giggle and shook her head. "I'm not sure I can as good as you!" She taunted back at her with a grin at Jay. "I'll go next, hopefully I don't look like a porcupine afterward."
The petite girl started slow, avoiding the first set of arrows with a hop and not hitting the same metal balls. Unfortunately she did mange to set off spikes on the walls which cut her slightly as she pried away from them with a squeak. Rolling away she blinked and a panel opened, fire blazing from it. Jumping across she felt her tail burn and she patted it to put it out. "Ow!"
It was a last ditch effort and she ran, the last arrows firing at her. Skidding to a stop she looked at a cut made by an arrow and held it. Grinning back at Iyari she waved down the hall. "See, I did a lot better, right!" She bounced a few times. "Come on Jayjay! You can do it!"

The bluejay snickered as Iyari boldly entered through the corridor and found herself caught in a myriad of medieval traps. Well, if Iyari didn't remember certain things, then it was inevitable that she would clumsily traipse her way through. "Okay? Sure, Iyari, sure." She watched Mea make her way through with relative ease. Jaida clapped. "Nice. Alright, guess I'm the last one to go, eh?"
She narrowed her eyes and then ran forward, wings spread out to let her glide before her foot touched the ground at last. Jaida hissed when she set off a bunch of arrows and ducked to avoid most of them. But soon after she encountered a wall of fire and yelled. "OI!" As soon as it disappeared in a fizzle of smoke she ran toward the other two. "Okay..." She huffed.
It was with a heavy heart (not) that Jaida casually pushed Usagi into the next hallway and watched the shadow take all of the traps.
"...well, that's that!"

**starting with 5 NPCS
At last you and your companions (if any) have reached the end. The room is circular and filled with many shelves, each one containing many different kinds of goblets. There is a fountain in the middle of the room. Something tells you that you must take a goblet and drink from it. You take a step into the room, only to be stop as a shadowy javelin plants itself in the ground in front of you. Had the thrower put a bit more force into it, there's no doubt that it would have passed through you, pinning you to the ground through your midsection.
The room shakes, the treasures on the shelves rattling with each step as the Guardian strides into the light. Their head is held high, and they are already armed with another javelin to throw at you.
"HALT. YOU SHALL NOT PASS."

She hissed when the guardian stepped in front of them. "Really?" Jaida grumbled, wings fluffing up with agitation. "Well, it's not like we have much of a choice if we want to get what we came for, eh?" A sigh, then she threw her weapon.

It wasn't a word, it wasn't even really words but more of a loud roar as the guardian came into view. Following after the other Iyari ran for it, screeching as she pumped her wings to get towards it for an attack and missed entirely.
She fell back and blinked a few times, glancing at the other two with pursed lips. "Not a word."

Distracted and moving over the corpse of a certain shadow person, Mea continued, bounding after the others with a few strides. Giggling at Iyari she slashed at it, though barely. "Still did moooooore!" She bounced over to Jay. "I think you're doing the best though!"

Jaida snickered as Iyari failed her attack. "Sure." She brought up her blade for another attack, but stopped briefly when she heard Mea. "Oh, you think so?" She smiled brightly before finally hurling it at the guardian.
