Ruelash fell to the ground and twisted, kicking, to free his foot and get them back underneath him. He crouched low and began to circle, intense yellow eyes centered on her as he stalked around. Suddenly, he charged in, feinting at her chest and shoulder with the knife as he brought his offhand out in an uppercut at her stomach, her neck, her chin- anything really. He just wanted to hit.

Bhima made a dramatic attempt to dodge the slash only to feel a fist careen into her gut. Damn! Apparently she was not the only competitor that knew how to throw an unarmed punch. Her sight was not impaired, but her breath caught and would not come. Wheezing and heaving in an attempt to breathe, she stuck out near-blindly in anger and thrust her blade toward her opponent's torso.

Ruelash managed -barely- to avoid reinjuring his chest with a backwards and ungraceful half-tumble. He got back on his feet with a grunt and barrelled in again, attempting to grab her arm while stabbing at her back.

Bhima surprisingly did not attempt to dodge, instead allowing the man to grab her arm and following through with the motion, never letting him stab her and attempting to sling him some distance away so she could get a proper hit. Stabbing was not so easy with centrifugal force was involved.

Ruelash, feeling his stabbing attempt falter, let go of the knife and grabbed on to her shoulder with the now free hand, attempting to drag her down with her own force.

Ever one to flow with the events of a battle, Bhima went down with the young man, tumbling with him a ways before pinning him to the ground, perhaps out of sheer size difference, and slashed at her opponent's chest before he could rise again.

Ruelash grit his teeth at the sudden flaring of pain at his chest and, with a snarl, kicked out at the larger woman with both of his feet.

Bhima gave a visceral 'oof' when she was kicked, but resolved to tumble backward. She was oozing blood now and covered in dirt, but she wasn't ready to give up. Her leg, however, was still bleeding rather profusely and didn't seem inclined to stop. There was a moment of vertigo, and the young woman turned to defend herself from what she was sure was an oncoming attack.

Ruelash used the momentum of his kick to get himself back up. He panted from exertion and pain, wiping sweat and blood off of his forehead. He was not so much tiring as he was running on adrenaline alone he punched out, once, uncoordinated, then, regaining his bearings, he followed up with a two punch combo.

Lights flashed as Bhima's brain warned her that something was wrong. Her opponent had caught her in the side of the head, and nerves fired randomly as a grey tunnel began to take her vision.

No, no! A little bit of unconsciousness wasn't going to stop her! With no central point of balance, she dove at her opponent and began to slash at his body, never knowing if she was striking but for the warm wetness on her hands.

"Auugh!" Ruelash cried out in rage as the sharp blade hit a bad spot at his side. He could feel it hit bone at his ribcage, which was distinctly unpleasant.
He was losing a nasty amount of blood now, and some of the older wounds had reopened. He started to feel dizzy. And mad. Very mad. With a howl, he punched at her wildly and in rapid succession, trying to push her down and pin her. His breath was coming in short, painful bursts now, as were his thoughts.

Hit her, hit her, hit her, hit her again, push, get her down, Auuuugh

He only had one more volley of blows left for this fight. He could feel himself waning down could feel his muscles burning with bruising, and injuries, and exhaustion. But he wasn't going to back down, hahaha, no. No. He wasn't.

There came a point in every warrior's consciousness when continuing to fight became impossible. Although she moved sluggishly, as if through water, Bhima used her arms to protect herself until the moment when the gray tunnel became more of a black hole.

There was no pain in passing out during this tournament, just a possibility of death.

Ruelash kept throwing punches. He didn't even realize she was down until he was trying to reach for his dagger. Exhaustion found this c***k in his focus and he snapped back, blinking with exhaustion.
You know.
That ground looked awfully comfy right around now.

He slid back to sit on the ground, grinning through the bruises and exhausted haze.

That... now that had been a fight. The kind of fight he liked.
And he had won.

He was too fatigued to finish her off, and the healers pulled him away and were leading him off before he could muster up the strength to do so anyway. Oh well, that wasn't a problem. Just meant he could fight her again sometime, he guessed.

He let himself go back into a haze of post adrenaline-and-endorphin satisfaction as he was treated and restored with magic. He couldn't wait for his next fight!
