The call of his name on his lips after she was struck down like that was enough to call something primal in him. At first he was fruitless as he flung himself at her. His hits and cries of outrage all but lost on the monster as it replied with nips and bites.

It had flung him at a wall and pinned him there for a moment rendering his limbs all but fruitless. Tiletk snarled at the beast, "YOU DID THIS TO HER. WHY?! WHAT WAS THE POINT OF ALL THIS?!"
The monster pushed him against the wall harder. The creature made a small mistake in checking to make sure the other was still staying down. Tiletk wiggled free and had better use of his weapon now. He hit the creature as hard as he could just then, stubborn and not wanting to go down.

There was a last weak hit and then suddenly the monster pretty much gave him one last crush. That was when he dissipated.

Imagine his surprise when he reformed once again in the same spot. The Beast seemed pretty surprised to as it had begun to turn toward the other figure laid out on the floor. Tiletk made one last ditch effort to save Fayre from a fatal blow.
He got flung back again for his effort, but at least he tried.

She could hear his voice screaming. She couldn't understand him anymore, but she knew he was fighting. She just needed to close her eyes. Just for a minute. Just one more minute.. Something crushed her. She reached out, scratching against the immovable object with her nails. She felt the skin give under them. And then she felt nothing. The foot fell. But she was still there. When the beast rose, assuming it had left her there for dead, she felt an odd, invigorating sensation fill her. Something was healing her. Something was.. The monster may as well of crushed him at that moment as he sank down to his knees and witnessed it. The pure visual of this was enough to break him in half for a few seconds at least to the point where he didn't react.
He couldn't react. Not even when they turned back toward him and flicked him over. She didn't know how she was able to get up, but she slowly pushed herself up onto her feet. She held one hand up - it was no longer flickering. She just felt tired.. and even that vanished when she realized Tiletk was still being slapped around. She growled, running for the beast - but she turned, running for Tiletk instead. She never got there. The beast barely nudged her, but it was enough to push her away. He'd heard her. He'd heard something It meant she wasn't down yet and thus he snapped out of it. Tiletk suddenly had his weapon in hand as he weaved out of the way of an oncoming attack. He raises his weapon and brought it down on the monster.

She heard the actual sound of breaking bone and flesh when Tiletk regained his fervor and came down on the beast with all of his fury. She watched from where she was sitting, and sighed a long, swooning sigh. She could have sworn time had slowed down as he arced through the air. His voice made her rise, and she picked up her axe again, trying to mimic his epic cleave. All she managed was a clip on the beasts foot as it reached out and smacked her away again. One thing about Tiletk was that he was determined. He continued beating on the monster and he didn't stop. He was done with it pushing around Fayre. His Fayre.
He was done with it just existing. He was quite simply done. He pushed out of the way of another attack as he pushed his blade up against the more vulerable parts of it. That was the moment it turned, sending her flying off of it. She blacked out for just a moment, and saw stars. Once more, her form flickered, static on a black body. How many times was she going to fail him like this?
