And then one of the strangers felled the thing, and he straightened, grinding the butt of the staff into the ground with a satisfied sigh. "Yeah, that's how it's done, gentlemen. Nice one." He picked through the dirt, saving a few treasures.

Beejoux Coyote smiled at the group at large, grateful for their assistance. As tough as she liked to believe herself to be, that thing would have cleaned the floor with her. "Thanks guys. It was a good party. We'll have to have another one soon." She fished a few baubles from the corpse as well, tossed then up in her hand, then crammed them into her pocket. Score.

Vane watched with interest as the killing blow was struck not with a blade or a staff or a gun, but by a vicious looking whip. "Awesome," he deemed it, plucking a few pieces of loot from the monster's body. ((+2 Starburst))
