His goal was to wait for action on his ragtag team, not that he saw them as anything reputable. There was a small bead of sweat upon his grotesquely sharp eyebrow. ’First priority is to locate the base. . .’ the recluse thought. There was a haze in the demon’s slate blue eyes, perhaps he was pondering the order of which they were to situate themselves. This game seemed simple enough, after all with a life depending on oneself, this would be relatively simple. The lives of his team members? Expendable as far as he was concerned. It was rather hard for him to care about them, after all the lives of others were not something to be all too concerned about. Comrades would have to work for now, after all he did know that this game was going to be an utter farce. No matter how much the demon wanted to deny it. . .he couldn’t. Positioning himself in a crouch, Zerodamus waited for his other members, his mind seeming to entirely disregard the man about an arms distance away, he then tilted his head, the crocodilian eyes widening a bit at his presence. Zerodamus said nothing to him. He had nothing to say to this black feathered hair fancy knave. Be him a team member or not, the recluse avoided social interaction for a reason. ’This is going to be interesting. . .’ he thought with an egregious sense of sarcasm. He seriously failed to believe his own ponder, lowering his eyes in displeasure as he thought about the ball. He seemed to just fade into the crowd. . .as he desperately avoided the social interaction. What was his reasoning? He did not want to hold a bond with someone that would probably be dead later. It seemed there was something SO intriguing on the ground, his eyes still there before his own eyes appeared as slits to avoid blinking.
The demon was selected for reconnaissance, or in other words he was to venture out past their common ground to gain information. Due to his somewhat strange ability to disappear from the crowd with his easily forgotten, though he was infamous, his presence could be forgotten, which was perfect for his despicable deeds. But now they seemed to put him to use, more or less to gather intelligence on the known. He assumed this place to be vast, as who would have it in a small area? That would simply be a bloodbath in the making, perhaps they wanted that but made it a bit more subtle. Be that as it may, he was to do his job to acquire what he wanted. ”Care for a bit of conversation. . .?” The demon asked, though his eyes never really went towards the man next to him. Now his hands were perched on both of his knees, his head facing forward as he spoke. Why conversation now? Perhaps he had a plan? That was exactly what he thought. After all he was going to have to depend on this man for some reason, no matter how little he thought about it. As he did not see them as comrades, more or less co-workers,they would probably have to work together towards a common goal, something he was willing to do. He would merely wait for more ‘team members’ to approach, this recon taking it upon himself to try and have a conversation with someone he cared absolutely nothing about. It was to kill time, which was rather strange coming from him. But so far waiting was literally eating away at his patience. This man was a demon, be he did not appreciate losing his self-control, it would leave him irrational and sloppy in regards to his fighting skills. He would most certainly try to avoid that during the game. That brought him to another point. . .they would have to locate a source of water for some of the weaker individuals, and perhaps blood or something to feed upon for the aborigines of the night; yes, this would be a rather daunting beginning to the game. . .but survival was first, at least on his own priority list he was second to none. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Music • Jungle: A Forest Cage ╱ Health • 100% ╱ Where I Am... • Coordinate 19, B ╱ With... • Fancy knave ╱ Underneath It All • N/A xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

~Blake Lostvelle~ The smell of a newcomer snapped Blake out of his own head. He turned his head slightly to watch Zerodamus for a while. Blake felt the need to keep to himself, all the while his eyes remained locked on zerodamus. What ultimately broke the silence was the guy calling to Blake for conversation. Blkae turned his body fully to face zerodamus before he parted his lips to finally speak.
" Then let us converse, though i doubt anything would come from it."
Blake walked forward and closed the gap between them, only stopping just short of the demon's arm length. He circled the demon once or twice, checking him out from various view points. Once he was satisfied, blake broke the silence once again.
" what would a Demon, and not a bad looking one to boot, want to talk to me about?"

IanxRhavanxJaeger ''xSarcasm seems to be, in general, the language of the devil.x'' 》▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬《
Nation/Race: Malandaia/Demon Where: (1, Q) With: With his whole team OOC: -While his Leader was speaking, Ian only listened partly, his mind was still occupied with Kairyn's words. She'd basically said that she wanted him to come back to Zeladis after the stone was won by one of the nations. He closed his eyes, that was impossible. How could he come back after he had slain or fought against the people from Zeladis, who also joined this tournament? The people of that dark nation weren't as forgiving as Kairyn wanted them to be, he had experienced that himself, since he'd once been a part of it. The King wasn't that great of a man either, Ian knew him personally and he didn't really want to 'share' everything with the other nations. No far from that, and she should know it. She had been right about one thing though, that it would be good for them not to cross paths. They were both Second in Commands, so they had a duty, there was more pressure on them then on the others.
Ian snapped back to reality when Ko'rdan called his name. He received his orders with a slow respectful nod of his head, the whole idea of following orders was still new to him. He'd lived so long without getting them that he had to get used to the thought. He didn't know Ko'rdan that well, but he'd heard she had a good and quick mind. Besides, she was placed higher than he, so she had to have done something right. Right? He looked in the direction his leader had indicated. Nothing but grass huh? He highly doubted that his little team was going to find their base, he'd heard they were well-hidden. But orders were orders, he was going to follow them.
Ian turned to the two who were assigned to go with him. One of them was Cill, a darkling, he didn't have any specific thoughts about the strong-looking male. Besides that he didn't know if he took orders from anyone else other than his master. Else this could prove to be more difficult than the Demon had thought. Ian had always wondered why his kind made these creatures. Did they want to feel more powerful? Did they want a slave to boss around? He couldn't imagine why, but he was a strange one after all. The second one was called Kale, he'd certainly heard about her. She was an oddball too. Since she was a Roc turned to the dark side, there weren't many of the feathery creatures who shared the same fate. Ian grinned slightly and gestured toward the southeast. ''Alright, let's share our opinions here. I think we should move carefully, since we don't have any cover on those plains before us.'' He started, then looked at Kale, ''We should spread out, with Kale here in front. I've heard about the advanced senses of a Roc, so you can keep an eye out for any enemies who might get too close.'' He studied the both of them, waiting for their approval, addition or rejection as he was done with his little rant.

Ferno ↦HimFerno was the next to walk through the gate and into the arena. His dark exterior stood out among the green surroundings. The weather pleased him as he didn't care much for sunshine, though the sun couldn't quite match the lights from eternal flames, you would have to get a lot closer for that. He looked around, there were two beings close, he could feel their minds, so close they could only be team mates. That was what he had been told they were called after all, he was inform to his best that he was to work with these beings to achieve, Zeladis' and therefor his own goal. A few steps and the two was easily spotted. Ferno didn't make any effort not to be spotted but couldn't help himself to let his presence in their minds known. 'I see you two are getting familiar.' He remarked more mockingly at them, rather than to state the obvious. The message would ring out in their heads and at least get some attention. His sharp teeth shined out in the black void that was his face, this time his mouth opened as he spoke to them physically. "We have not met, I am Ferno " He didn't care much for opinions and said what he wanted, even though no one asked.
His chains rattled with every step he took, until he was the same distance to them, as they were to each other. Then he stopped and looked around and as far into the distance as he could, this arena was huge. He could only feel very few, small blimps, he couldn't close to pinpoint where from. Powerful minds indeed, he was looking forward to breaking them. As he stood there looking into the distance, the enjoyment of the possibility and likeliness of his former statement being true, uncovered his wickedness, as his teeth grinned and he laughed for no reason."Hehahahahahahah" He didn't show the two others any attention or care, as he laughed at the nothingness. 【======== ☠ ☠ ☠ ☠ ☠ ========〗 Ҟale ᾌstaria ζucien -Axe of Lucien- -Malandaia- The day, the place, the people... everything she had been waiting for was now laid in front of her eyes. Kale was ready for the onslaught. She stayed to the back of the group, but was intrigued to see the leader of her group, was in fact a very supple woman. At least she put out commands to split into groups, as Kale had originally thought was the best first line of action. Although, she would take a much more aggressive stance; she would send a first line into others territory to try to find whatever or whoever they could first. Maybe she could pressure the second in command to go off course into another territory if they couldn't find anything. Quite frankly, Kale was uncertain about what she was looking for. In an entire forest, she needed to find a key scroll and dagger. The task seemed daunting, but she kept herself hopeful that if nothing else, she would get into some entertaining battles. She looked to Aoi, the only person she met from her own team last night, who was quickly charged to another group. ********. Well, Kale guessed it would be hard to focus if she was constantly thinking about ******** that girl. Now, she was paired with two strangers.
Then he spoke, first asking for other opinions. Maybe a mistake? but Kale was glad to talk, whether the nonsense seemed appropriate or not. "Yeah, Do we have to stay to our territory? The sooner we cross paths into another, the sooner we find our own items. " And at the Roc comment, Kale became slightly bitter. Old emotions stirred within her, for she knew her senses were no longer as they used to. Unless she transformed into Astaria who most likely wouldn't listen much to this man. She would need to feed as well. But Kale wanted to be ready for whatever came her way.
"Let me out, you know you need me, Kale. Don't be a p***y. Let's remember what it feels to fly. Can you even recall anymore? It's been so long since you've let me free." Astaria sweetly spoke into her mind, through the information channels in her brain, that usually are completely blocked off. It was best to meditate now, and transform now, and be ready for anything, but Kale looked into the morning sun. Astaria would hate that, even more, she would hate the hot, dry and cracked pains. For now, she decided to keep Astaria at bay for a little longer. She certainly did not want to jump the gun.
Her mind tugged at itself for a bit longer, until she recognized that if she was going to trust this man, and other creature with her life, she was going to have to be able to trust them with advice too.
"When do you suppose I should form my best? Without my wings, I have less senses than I used to. It takes a bit of meditation to perform the transformation, but I'm not sure if I should bring her out now or later." Kale wasn't sure if the man had any good advice to offer, but this would be a good test whether she could trust him to make smart decisions if he was able to make a good reasoning. Her mind had almost already been made up anyways, as the thirst was growing ever stronger for blood.【============= ☠ ☠ ☠ ☠ ☠ =============〗 "Of which do you enjoy better? For Bad Luck: 2-5 will miss the target but cause damage to nearby area to get in their way, or fall upon them. Theodore HayesTeam One - ScoutLocation: Team one gate Status: Healthy Company: No one "It's just my humble opinion, but it's one that I believe in." Theo stood a short distance off, observing the others. He wasn't nearly as apprehensive as he had been the night before. This was where he was comfortable. He knew what he was doing here. At least, he was fairly certain he did. The others looked to be varying degrees from apprehensive to confident.
He reached up out of habit for the bow over his shoulder. His quiver was full of arrows, some were regular, some were covered in tranquilizers. Of course, he had left out the deadly poisons. The tranquilizers were harmless once they wore off. As he thought, his hand moved down to the one throwing knife he had been allowed that was sitting in his belt. It would be trick to only have one, but he would make it work. "You don't deserve a point of view if the only thing you see is you."

xxxxxxx T h e x S o r c e r e r Mood: Enjoying himself and his company, starting to get sleepy Doing: Sitting at the table with Bryn about to head to his room It was good to know that his leader had a good plan, there were not many leaders that were so prepared to rush into such games. His eyes looked around, there were select few that didn't seem so eager in listening to what the leader had to say. Such a pity, not listening to someone who could have a plan to keep your sorry a** alive was stupid on anyones account. Niklaus looked back at his leader when his name was mentioned. Their leader told him to go with Sigmund and Tymor. He nodded his head respectful back to his leader, letting her know that she understood what she wished to happen.
After she was done talking, Niklaus went to his personal chest he brought his wrist blades in. One was the size of a dagger, the other went up to his elbow. They were the best kind of weapon he could hide under his sleeves. What most people didn't know, and failed to notice, that they weren't just any weapons that he hid under his sleeves. They were the blades that stayed attached to his arms and popped out of his sleeves through slits that would magnetically seal after he was done fighting. He fastened the straps on his arms, and turned his arm so the blade was almost touching his face. With the softest amount of breath, he gently blew onto the blade. The heat from his breath caused the very tip of the blade to turn blue, and steam. A smirk played onto his face as he shifted them down and covered them with his sleeve.
He stood next to the gate, awaiting his fellow teammates to join him so that they could go.

This demon was not a kind fellow, of course he wasn’t one to just outright fight either. ”I did not think anything would come from it, after all we are two separate people with more like two entirely different views of this world and all meaningless banter.” The demon still didn’t bother to look over, why would he? He already got a look of his appearance all the way down to that garish magenta streak of hair. But he stopped to raise an eyebrow, what did he believe he wanted? Perhaps he was just reading far too into the comment. It was then, that the males scent disrespected his olfactory glands, it was a musk he would have much rather not smelled. It was obvious what this male was now; an incubus. . .it wasn’t all too surprising either. This man better not touch him, mostly out of his own dislike of the creatures that held a shameful bestial lust. There was finally an inquiry towards what they could possibly speak about. This was just leaving room for yet another assholish remark from the demon. ”Because I am bored, and I assumed you would provide at least a mild form of entertainment, I had no idea what I was looking forward to, but I can honestly say I am sorely disappointed. But there are many things we can converse about.” this time his head finally turned slightly, the outrageously bored orbs set on the male, however his eyes darted to the other male, his eyes furrowing slightly, Zerodamus was not one that would appreciate being mocked, but he declared the male to be insane. ”Indeed we have not. . .” he finally stood up now, the six foot, three inch tall male standing up fully. ”Zerodamus. . .” He said flatly. His eyes as he thought of what to do first, after all this was rather annoying that the others had yet to show up. His silence was destroyed by unneeded laughter; great. Aidan Fydar The Dark Tide Sorcerer ◥◣◥◣◥◣◥◣◥◣◥◣◥◣◥◣◥◣◥◣◥◣◥◣◥◣◥◣◥◣◥◣◥◣◥◣◥◣◥◣◥◣◥◣ Aidan walked into the oval gate to be teleported to a remote forest. He was surprised, but he had seen this trick before. He shrugged his shoulders and walked in where some people were waiting. Perhaps his teammates? He nodded his head to them and walked over to a lonesome tree and leaned on it waiting for the team captain.
"These games are going to be quite difficult." He recalled some people around him from the ball. He could sense amazing abilities from each of them. But he wasn't quite sure. Sometimes his instincts could fail. He looked around the meeting area and saw that more people had joined the waiting people. Who is the captain? He was about to walk to the center and ask, but something stopped him. He sensed something looking at him. He looked behind the tree and saw a small river. The water was rippling thanks to the current. He shook his head and leaned on the tree.
"Just another false alarm, I guess." Aidan saw the captain arrived. Well he at least thought he was by the way he was assigning groups. He looked over at the people he was assigned with. It wouldn't be that bad would it?

________________ ______________________________ I S A D O R A yes A I T H N E ______________________________ ________________thebandit The red headed woman awoke that morning to find that she had somehow gotten herself out of her dress, and into her night gown. Exactly how she had done this was a mystery, apparently old habits die hard. She laid still for a moment, as the memory of wine and a certain Incubus caused her head to pound. However, at the recollection of what was ahead for her, she sat up suddenly. The pain disappeared into the background as she began to get ready. There was no time for such trivial things as a headache when the most important day of her life had arrived. Pulling her long red curls into a tight french braid that hung down her back, she assured that no piece was going to escape. Isadora has learned long ago that hair falling into your eyes in the middle of a battle could spell disaster. The woman then dressed her self in light clothing the color of the forest, her top was a moss green, her pants mud brown. These colors would make it easier for her to blend into the background. While she was a proficient fighter, if she could avoid a battle, that would be ideal. There was no reason to get herself into a situation where she could be injured unless it was absolutely necessary.
Later that morning, she arrived at their starting gate. Her bow rested on her shoulder, ready to be put to use at a moments notice. The bow had been crafted by elves and was specially made for her. After years of snapping her bows by simply drawing the string back with too much strength, she had one created that was virtually unbreakable. It would also prove very difficult for anyone other than a Draconian to use the bow as great strength would be needed to get the material to bend for them. Her arrows, on the other hand, she had enchanted herself. Depending on which way she turned the arrow nock, they would either immediately envelop the arrow in fire or the arrow would blow up upon impact. Izzy had brought as many as she was allowed, which sat in the quiver strung across her back.
She joined the group and waited anxiously for their leader to arrive. Isadora's hands hung at her sides, ready to fly up and shoot flames at a seconds notice. The red head was extremely aware of her surroundings, and while she was fairly confident that there was no way a member of the opposing team had made it all the way to their gate in this time, the possibility of a predator lurking in the shadows was great. Her entire life had been leading up to this moment. While that sounded a tad dramatic, it was the absolute truth. The woman had done nothing but eat, sleep, and train for these games since the moment she was born. Well, she supposed she had also been trained on how to be a proper noble, but that hadn't gone so well. Shaking her head to clear the thoughts, she became instantly aware that their leader had arrived.
When he had finished speaking, she nodded her head in agreement. She had made sure to keep from scowling when he called her a fire mage. Aiden was a mage, she was a Draconian. Turning her attention to the two she had been paired with, she said, "I believe the best plan would be for the three of us to travel there together, but upon arriving, immediately grab an item and split up," Pulling out her map from where she had secured it on her belt, she glanced at it before adding, "Lucky for us, they aren't far. However, they are located in the mountains." She frowned, from her training she had learned that unpleasant things tended to live in areas that were treacherous to get to. Isadora continued, "We should leave now, and move quickly and quietly. It would be best to avoid seeking attention from anyone or anything." She was anxious to start, the other teams most likely had already sent out task forces to try and intercept them before they could hide their items.

She never thought of herself as a hunter, but she was thankful her duty was to search for an item, and not travel to other territories to search for their own items. She still had her dagger hidden in her boot in case of an ambush, which she doubted but was still prepared. After the leader finishes, the Draconian [Isadora] suggested they stay as a group until someone finds an item and splits up. Asiri nods in agreement with the Draconian.
The items are up in the mountains, according to the Draconian, and she suggested they start locating them immediately. Asiri quietly took a deep breath to wash away the rush of nervousness; she was clearly the weakest link in the group, but they may need her in a worst case scenario. ... ι sωεαя ωε'ℓℓ ηεvεя ∂ιε αи∂ нєαℓєя σғ ιтнυs ‹╌╌ ғιη∂ мε нεяε: Team One's gate ωιтн: Isadora and Aidan ση α qυεsт: to have a good start on the games, and to locate and hide another team's item

Enya was next in line to step into the gate. Her red lips inhaled a sharp breath as she lifted the dark blue hood over her head. She wore a cloak that concealed her enchanted green glass that was shaped like an hourglass, her power source she couldn't part with. She had it snugged up against her right hip along with her map and a list of rules to the game Enya didn’t choose any other weapons she didn’t need anything besides her magic. As she entered she could feel her team players energy, some stronger than others. Green eyes flickered over towards Zerodamus as he introduced himself to the other two males. He seemed rather annoyed with them...at least that was what she seeing on his face
She heard the unwelcome laughter and slightly cringed when she felt the other part of her wake up with excitement. So much darkness Enya! Let me out! Let me out!
“Not now.” She whispered under her own breath as she cleared her throat. “Seems some of our group has yet to arrive.” She announced to the group as she step up to the others. “I see that everyone here is so far on a first name base, I’ll introduce myself.” She said as she reached up and pulled the hood away from her face. Her red locks of hair pooled around her face and shoulders as she lifted her head up straight with a sly smile. “Enya.. It’s a pleasure to meet all of you.”
Pleasure indeed Enya!
She ignored the voice inside her head as she stared at them all taking in each one. Now they were waiting on their leader and second in command, so it would seem. ooc: Edit* Forgot to quote players..

Ferno ↦HimSuddenly another mind made it's presence around the others and what a specimen. Insanity was already strong in this one, as the person came closer she revealed herself to be a female and greeted the lot. Ferno listened to the voice in her head. "Hehahahah" He laughed again with a crazy grin as his red eyes turned brighter. He chose to reveal himself inside the womans mind. 'Indeed.. My name is Ferno..... Let it out..' He toyed along with the voice in her head.
Ferno looked around again and suddenly dropped down onto the ground with a thumb. He just sat there waiting for the rest of the team to arrive, waiting for their minds to be revealed, waiting. Waiting to play. Location:19, B Shape:100% Mood: Amused Tune: Perfect insanity
