In Morrowind I created my own Paladin type class, and I was pretty powerful. But this time I just decided to select the Knight class. Honestly though, I HAVE NO MAGICKA. Not really anyway. I'm lvl 16 and my magicka is about 100. So I can't really cast any spells except a few small ones I made. my healing spell is aweful because I have alot of health and so little magicka.

I'm sure it will get better eventually.

My character is okay with either magic or a sword (i dont use hammers or bows i find swords much faster) my restoration skill is quite high becuase im always pressing the heal button lol ever time i get hit it has become a habit. But i love magical weapons and my mages fire staff heart could'nt live without it lol. But i don't cast many other spells other than restoration spells.

FenrisVollmond
Melee Thief, with bow for backup and a few healing spells.
Basically a Jack-Of-All.

I didn't mind the archery in Morrowind.
For one thing, if you've ever stood on a lighthouse (in real life) and shot down arrows at the people below, I doubt you'd be a consistent shot. It's not like a sniper rifle. lol

biggrin

Shortblades, Bows, Thievin, Illusion, Destruction, and Conjuration. 3nodding

but I would have to disagree on the bow..

Now...It's not like a sniper rifle for shore...but if your aiming DOWN Gravity makes your projectile faster/hurt worse...you might not have an Accurate shot say if your shooting diagonally, but I bet you two to one, if you shot some one from a lighthouse...it's gonna go deeper then if you shot him standing on his level. xd

like a volley, you AIM high so when it comes down, It will hit harder.

But if your shooting on the Downstroke...your gonna hurt worse. lol

razz (Sorry just two cents on ya Fenris. smile )

But yea...I got the Dark Elf/Wood Elf type mix up...Gonna start either a Nord or an Orc for the less spell type... ;_: but I need my sneak...it's gonna suck. pirate

The arrow and gravity is true in real life, but not neccesarily in oblivion. I dont think they would have gone quite that deep into the physics. Although the physics are amazing! Did anyone buy that theives pirate ship download? Its flipping amazing! you get your own crew of pirates to do your will and plunder for you....as well as the best marksmen and sneak/spell barters to buy from. I freaking have like arrows that are worth 260 per shot. Its lovley

I really wish there would've been a "both" option in the poll, but overall I like to use magic over might.

lol I usually use all three.... when its a mage, I pull out the bow of silence, pop a arrow at the guys head and get x2 damage, pull out the sword, whack him to death.... when its a guy with low sneak I sneak up behind him and smack him in the head with a sword, if im not supposed to do it I then pull out the staff of paralyze and stop him in his tracks, then kill him.... usually though they detect me lol, im not that good of a sneaking guy compared to the monsters im facing =P So im usually All of em, Sneak, Magic, and Melee, but mostly Sneak and Melee ( And I do wear heavy armor, but I DID get to a point where it woulden't matter if I wore heavy armor boots with the sneak skill... )

First I made a wood elf archer (I love the bow and arrow system) but it got deleted, so then I made a kajiit acrobat and it kicks arse. I'm good with a bow, sword and magika. I'm thinking about making an argonian, but I don't know which class. crying

I'm definately a mix of both fighter/mage. Love using weapons, but sometimes it's nice to have a break from the hack & slash if you just want to complete a quest and get it over with.

For humanoid, definately melee weapons, for goblins, skeletons, etc sometimes it fun to flame 'em and just watch the @#*!'s burn!

to get infected when you kill a vampire search through his stuff lotsa times
I found getting infected by a vampire was *very* easy in Oblivion.

I killed a few of them at a fort place south of Chorrel as I was exploring... I didn't even know I'd been infected.
Three game days later I slept, had a dream, and woke up with red eyes.

Now I need to find the "Cure Vampirism" quest. lol

...

On topic... I started off as a Melee Thief as I stated above.
Then I made a new character and now I'm a sort of BattleMage.

My BattleMage is pwning my Melee Thief in funness factor and doing a damn good job of going through quests aswell.
what was the dream like

I like weapons, spells, and arrows.

I like spells because it is fun to set people on fire
And I like arrows because I have an Adoring Fan.
