The one with the daggers seemed to be taking it out rather swiftly. Aima eyed the weapon enviously.
She hated this damn gun. Everyone else was working so hard. He really... he was just relying on them now, wasn't he? But he did just want to be protected, to curl back up against something that loved him.
He frowned, shaking his head a bit before glaring at the thing. He had to focus.. it wasn't like it was JesJes... it wasn't. So with that he quickly leapt forward again, bringing his daggers both down against it's odd surface.OOC Name of character: Kiasako Damage done: 8x2 = 16 CURRENT HP OF BOSS: 7/80 Current HP: 25/50 Special ability: Queen's Chosen: You can choose three times every battle encounter to double your attack for that turn. This cannot be stacked with other x2 effects. The max attack power you can have is x2 the original damage you do. This can only be used on melee attack dice and not special weapon effects (under the special effect sign). The attack doubled caps at 20 damage (ie: if multiplied x2 I do 24 damage, it rounds to 20) Example: I roll for 12 damage. I choose to double my attack. I do 24 damage that turn. I can use this two more times in that battle encounter. 2/3 Species Ability: Demon, starts with 40 hp. Current weapon equipped:  TARGET: BOSS

The guy with the daggers was doing a pretty good job of killing the thing. Rojand waited for an opening, then stepped in and brought his sword down on it, a little startled when it collapsed. Aima nodded at the others. They were strong compatriots, she could at least admire that.
After looking over the trinkets she'd picked up, she deemed them suitable enough, and continued on her way without another word.

And then the thing fell as he was still regaining his balance and preparing for another attack. Well that was good. He offered a weak smile to those around him, lifting a hand to wave before backing up a bit, nodding as he scampered away rather quickly.
He wanted to stay...part of him really did, but... couldn't he find his other friend maybe? Wouldn't that be better?

A quiet fight, a quiet ending. The creature hadn't even made a noise as it fell. Rojand waited for the others to finish rummaging around, then moved in to pick up his own prizes, turning them over in his hand before he tucked them away with the jangle of glowing pieces already in his pocket.
