Lliote struck, but it wasn't enough. He was getting weaker... Lliote woke again in the same place. His Goddess was apparently much more forgiving than he was. Lliote struck again, and this time the beast let out a great defining roar before falling to the ground. Though he had won, Lliote could not help but feel it was a bitter victory. He had, afterall, fallen twice before bringing the beast down. Click... click... click. The Goddess' footsteps were hollow as she entered the alter. She did not let go of the scythe she held as she ran a hand along the alter, expression unreadable.
