Friends. He had friends. His tail was wagging a million miles a minute at that point as he plucked up a few bits of loot, and then he quickly scampered over to the girl and latched onto her sleeve. He intended to follow where she went.
Because she was his first friend. And unless she shooed him off he intended to follow.

Between her new friends and Kaje, the creature was taken down rather quick. Rhryse was glad. She nodded again, smiling. "Yep! Friends. Keep running into folks who are fighting these things, too. It's a good way to meet people, if nothing else." It was also good for picking up trinkets, but that was another story.
