"Uh."
Noah did have a sink. He had a lovely stainless steel industrial sink right there in the room and he even side eyed it nervously. He wasn't about to put a dirt kitten in it, that's for sure.
"Right. Right over here!" He announced, turning and edging around until he pushed open the door to the men's room and plopped the little thing down into an empty sink basin.
It was this or nothing, cat.

In retrospect, a small sink basin in the men's room was probably a lot better than an industrial kitchen sink. If Thetis had any preference, the soft running water of a bathroom was probably preferable to a harsher industrial kitchen spray. Even if Thetis knew there were options on whether he got a big sink or a small sink, he was just thankful he got any sink at all!
He bowed his little kitty head to Noah and then he did a little investigation of the sink upon being placed in it. It was a simple sink but it was just the right size for him! With a few good nudges of his head against the lightly tightened faucet handles, the water began to flow into the sink in a slow but steady stream.
He seemed alarmed at first but he was actually dancing around in the puddles the water was creating as it bounced around the sink. It brought him great delight to watch as the dirt flowed off his paws in the stream until finally nothing else but the water rinsed down the sink. With no intention to become a harbour rat, Thetis poked his head at the handle in the opposite direction until it slowed to a small and slow stream. He couldn't tighten it like a human could so he simply hoped out of the sink and hoped Noah would give him a hand.
"Thank you," he said happily. "My name is Thetis, I am very grateful for this."

Noah finished up turning off the sink and grabbed a rag to wipe up the water around him. He couldn't seem to keep his home cleaned, but he was awkwardly paranoid about anything dirtying up his establishment.
"It's not biggy, I guess," He said with a shrug. "I'm Noah. Powered up I go by Alfheim."
That was okay, right? Talking cats were the sort of guardians of the magical underground so full introductions were probably expected.
"Is there a reason you can't shapeshift? Because my sister's a guardian cat, yanno... and she basically walks around as a person all day and busts on the cat ears when it's convenient."

Thetis appreciated the work Noah put into keeping things tidy and he showed it by rubbing up against the man's hand as he did so.
"It's very nice to meet you Noah," he said happily. However, immediately after he said that his facial expression shifted as the topic did.
"I am not a person, how could I ever simply put my ears and tail away and pretend to walk among you. Your sister must be different."
Yes, he definitely wasn't created by the joint efforts of a man and cat.

Noah got a weird look on his face too. He had never really questioned Zia's powered form being a cat except for the initial 'wtf why are you a cat' before he awakened as a sparkly medieval elf knight of olden times.
After that he just assumed powered people could be all kinds of weird things!
"Oh... okay." His logic had been this is why cats could talk. Because they were just shapeshifting powered people. Somehow, removing were-cats from the equation made everything weirder, not better.
"So, not to prod a sensitive topic or nothing. But if you're not staying with your senshi, where are you staying?"

Where was he staying? Well, when he could manage to make the commute he went home to Addison but sometimes he just couldn't make it back. There were so many variables including but not limited to how high in the sky the sun was, how much it rained, how smelly the street is, how many powered signatures are out and about and even simply his fickle emotions. Sometimes balls got in the way too, or just things that looked like balls or were slightly ball-shaped. He couldn't go past them or walk around them and sometimes the only thing that was safe to do was simply curl up into a not-ball and cry.
"I stay with Addison when I can make it back there but I heard her parents say they might be sending her to boarding school this fall. I hope they don't. I will miss Addison if she's gone," his voice lowered and he sighed softly. If Addison wasn't there, would he bother making such a long commute back? Without someone there to love him, he didn't know the answer to that.

"Oh."
Noah was just full of awkward pauses today. He glanced to the side and back again. "So, do you need like, a ride there or something?" This was the best way he could code 'please get the ******** out, people eat here.'. But he didn't have it in him to say it outright.

"A-are you offering to drive me?" He asked. He didn't want to assume but his hopes were high! If only he knew what you were really thinking, Noah. He'd have you know people shed hair and with how many people came in and out of here there was probably a lot more human hair than cat hair, even if he stayed here all night! It was a real shame too because he could have sworn this was a bakery.

"Sure, you can ride in the saddle bag," Noah said with a one armed shrug and an easy smile. Thetis was tiny, he'd fit comfortably! As long as he didn't wipe out and crush the little guy, oh god.
He'd just... drive very carefully. "You can give cross streets and driving directions, right?" Did cats even have the kind of direction sense?

When Noah said saddle bag, Thetis' first thought was that Noah had a horse. If he had known it was a motorcycle, the small guardian cat might have been less enthusiastic about riding with him. He puffed up with excitement, his head lifting up from the sorrows it fell into earlier.
"Oh. Yes. Definitely!" He exclaimed with pride. "It is very important to find my way home! How else would I without knowing the street signs?"
Cat senses. Real funny. Thetis probably couldn't find his way out of a paperbag.
